As i reach5 the hotel i was given a warm welcome by the attendants in the hotel as visitor/customer and due to a long journey i was immediately given a room where i was to relax and served by some organised attendants. The rooms had all the equipment which could make someone relaxed especially the entertainment part. The hotel is situated in place with average noise due to some hooting cars around the premises but i appreciated because it was minimal. The amenities were of good quality and ap... Read more

My fianc√© and I are frequently travelling to Savannah but have never stayed at the Sleep Inn before. We weren‚??t sure about the location and facilities at first, so we sent an email prior to our stay which got promptly answered. The hotel is in convenient location to several malls such as the Savannah Mall and Festival Outlet Center, the Air Force Museum and the beautiful historic downtown of the city. The staff welcomed us with a warm smile upon arrival and we were immediately given the keys ... Read more

Went to check into hotel and had an issue with my card, the staff didn't help in any way and told us that there wasn't anything they could do and they even though it was their systems fault that I would still be charged a cancellation fee. Lady at front desk got upset with me because we brought our small dog (pet friendly hotel) into the hotel. I ended up paying in cash so I didn't have to cancel and they didn't have enough money for my change back and ended up giving me quarters . I do not reco... Read more

We stayed her two nights. This hotel is in a safe and quiet place, very near restaurants and close to I-95. Check-in was a breeze. Trina and C.K. were VERY helpful and super friendly. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was a little bit squishy. I would stay here again.

Hotel was pretty clean, at first it looks pretty old, however, you can get used to it. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and the most annoying part was the cleaning staff that would knock on your door at 8.30am and ask to clean your room. Also weird thing that was noticed, is that only one bed was being made, but not the second one. Pretty weird and actually funny at the same time.

While travelling to Orlando on I-95 and noting lots of traffic on both sides of the Interstate around 4:30pm, my wife and I decided to call (hands-free of course) for a hotel just past Savannah. Upon calling Choice Hotels, they told us about a couple nearby us, but we asked for one South of Savannah as we wanted to be past the morning Savannah interstate traffic. They found the Sleep Inn. Got details, had Choice make the reservations and continued driving until we reached the hotel. Very nic... Read more

This place is not the worst ever as I have stayed in worse. But...... tv didn't work when we came in, young lady at the front desk had no idea how to fix it. Laundry area completely out of date, expensive, and no soap in vending machine. One washer, one dryer, that's it. Bed sits low which is inconvenient for us as we are tall people. But this isn't something I would take stars for because it could be a positive note for shorter folks. Room is very basic, pillows are thin, coffee maker is in the... Read more

The room was neat and clean, but tiny. There was barely room to walk around the bed, no chair except the desk chair, not refrigerator, no microwave. The bathroom had a pocket door - that's all there was room for. The door to the room did not close unless forced - the same with the outside entrance door near our room. There were four screw holes in the desk, apparently from a TV that was once attached there. Breakfast was bare-bones; no eggs.

I have stayed at this unit three times now and reviewed this unit before. I am writing this review to reiterate that this is a great value. Super clean, nice appointments, very comfortable king beds, great TV and channels. Business center with printer (only negative is the slow CPU). Small, clean pool. Nice breakfast with fruit, cereals, waffle makers, yogurt, assorted beverages, but only hard boiled eggs (instead of hot cooked variety). This is a well maintained unit with great appoin... Read more

We prepaid our room for one night stay in Savannah one week ahead of time. When we checked in, the hotel couldn't find our reservation and now there are three pending charges on my card plus the amount we paid on July 8! This isn't something I shouldn't have to worry about during my vacation. Our first room was good until we turned off the tv. The AC in the room was SUPER loud. I have a 30 second recording of it. We were able to change to a different room and what a difference! They had pop corn... Read more

I'm writing this review from the room as I look at the old sunglasses I found behind the nightstand and the crud on too of the mini fridge (see pic). The AC unit is a little beat up and the bedspreads are dirty (see pic) The shopping cart next to the open door on the first floor also makes me question whether or not there are weekly guests or if the bums come in. For the night, the place is ok, but one night is enough here for me.

We reserved 3 rooms for the 12 of us. The breakfast was good. The rooms was clean. The only complaint we had was the air didnt seem to be working properly in one room and the shower pressure in another room wasn't good. The night clerk was very nice and gave us some good info on the local restaurants. Would stay here again.

We've stayed in Sleep Inn properties numerous times, and always felt we got great value, so thought we had a reasonable level of what to expect upon check-in. Sadly, we were disappointed. The interior looks to be in need of a little TLC thanks to worn carpet. NO ELEVATOR, but the very courteous gentleman who checked us in offered to help carry our bags and baggage upstairs. The front desk attendant the next morning behaved as if he wanted to be anywhere but there. Never greeted any guests in the... Read more

This was a very inexpensive hotel in the area. We were getting in around dinner time and leaving early next morning. So my requirements were minimal. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience with this facility. It was an exceptional value for the money. While the room was small, it was clean and had all the typical amenities you'd expect. There were no maintenance issues with the room. We used the pool briefly and it was clean and comfortable. Mind you this is not the Hilton, but for $65 for... Read more

Check in was good. Room...not so good. Previous guest's toenails found on floor which made me look further. Room had not been vacuumed in awhile. Air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryer did not work. Toilet seat was broken and toilet did not flush properly. Breakfast was ok. Young man at front desk at check out was very friendly. Would we stay again? No. I guess you get what you pay for.

The Savannah trolley tour will pick you up at 8am and drop you off at 5pm - a great service if the timing works for you. Saves searching for the free Visitors parking in town! If you need a 5 star hotel with slippers, terry robes and a rose on the pillow, forget this review. Rating has to be taken in context. On the road we travel to 5-6pm and find accommodations who take coupons. We get up at 7am, throw gear in car , have breakfast and drive on. We only really want a clean room and good bed... Read more

I complained to Choice and they have asked the manager to contact me about it but no one has despite several complaints from me and Choice. We stayed at Sleep Inn in Savannah, GA. The hotel is difficult to find. Your GPS will take you to someplace in a more residential area. If you can see a Cracker Barrel from Abercorn Street, you'll find this hotel. It is a little dated and the rooms needed to be updated. The front desk person was very friendly and we were checked in promptly. The TV remote didn't work and you couldn't change stations and lower volume. Traveling on I95, rooms seem to book early up the east coast and the prices reflect the demand. Tried to book with a phone call and were told they were full. We turned around and immediately booked through their website on-line. Not sure why the system ran this way.
