At check in I paid for room using a RediCard gift certificate issued to me by RedRoof.Upon arrival at the room it was not cleaned all bedding piled up around the room. I went back to the front desk and asked clerk for a clean room. The clerk (Justin) said it was the only room they had.I asked if there was another RedRoof close by he said no.I told him to void my gift card because I was not staying at that location,he assured me certificate could be used at another RF location.I found another ... Wendy and I stay at Red Roof Inns across the country, almost without exception - the chain is an excellent and professional organization, with very few exceptions. The Savannah Airport Inn and Suites is by far the best Red Roof Inn that my wife and I have ever enjoyed together - and our stay reminded us both what is TRULY important in a hotel: THE STAFF!!!! Please read ahead to see why I say that! To make a very long story short - another hotel in Jacksonville had completely botched our rese... Read more

First stop was in Savannah for our motorcycle trip and stayed at Red Roof. Very good experience. Caleb at front desk was awesome and very helpful. Just remember this is a pet friendly hotel so you are always coming in contact with lots of dog walkers. Parking lot well lit at night.

We often choose Red Roof Inn & have found most to be an exceptional value. This one was adequate but lacking in some aspects. Upon check-in the fee was $10. higher than the highest fee quoted online. When questioned the female clerk said "So book it online." We explained we always book directly through the chain or on check-in. The room was clean but the paint job was not precise, the laminate flooring was uneven with a missing molding chunk between the carpeted area & laminate which could be... Read more

Rude front desk. Changed rooms 3 times. First room is next to somebody that has a big dog that barks so loud, second room is door won't shut properly, third room has dirty carpet and ceiling plaster is falling. Worst Red Roof we stayed in. Needs renovation terribly bad!!!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Clean! Accommodating enjoyed my stay. I was very sick when I stayed here too. I have absolutely no complaints!!! We had a family of five too. When we got there they quickly got us checked in. Very polite.

When planning our trip to Florida, we made Savannah, GA our destination the first day of travel from Long Island, NY because my fiancé's daughter lives nearby and attends college at Armstrong State University. After doing some online research we chose this facility and made a reservation far in advance because we prefer a room with an in-room jacuzzi for 2, and it was available here. We also liked the hotel's proximity to I-95, as well as several restaurants within walking distance. We had dinn... Read more

We understand the phrase, "you get what you pay for". But basic cleanliness should be the norm with a chain hotel that is trying to raise its reputation. I am a member of the Red Roof Red Card program. We have stayed in updated Red Roof hotels in Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN. Both hotels were clean and rooms were fresh and inviting. So, we assumed, since the Savannah Red Roof had similar reviews, we would find the same. This was not the case. Check-in went smoothly, the young lady was ve... Read more

I often stay at Red Roof Inn when I travel because I have a small dog. I was very surprised when I walked into the room to immediately see a french fry and a dirty tissue on the floor. I checked the bed sheets and they looked clean and I always bring my own lysol sheets, so I would be sure the bathroom would be fine for using. When I went out later, I told the front desk clerk and all she said was she would mention it to the supervisor. No apologies, no discount and I was staying two nights.... Read more

If you're looking for a nice clean and friendly motel at a good price this is it. From start to finish the customer service was great. Kris and AJ checked me in and they we're very nice and helpful. My room was very clean and I really liked the way it was remodeled it's very hard to find a hotel these days that allows dogs and they had no problem with it they were very friendly and it was a great stay. Thanks

Red roof inns used to be my hotel chain of choice; this place changed that. When I arrived, my sheets and sink had hair on them, the entire floor was somehow sticky /and/ greasy, the sink clogged very easily and was filled with rocks, and the room was humid the entire stay because the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work. On top of that, I had loud neighbors in the adjacent room (which I realize isn't the hotel's fault, but the walls were thin enough that it was a problem, and since the door... Read more

I decided to book the room on my way back to Florida. I stayed on the 3rd floor 2 years ago and it was pretty decent. Boy had this place gone down. I looked at 2 rooms on the 3rd floor. Finally looked at one on the 1st floor. It looked better but not great. The beds are not queen. But for just me it was fine. However the walls are sooo thin. I can hear everything including people above me. That's why I usually get the 3rd floor. I like wood floors but it just seemed dirty. I saw online there was... Read more

Only had one night here and was average at best. There was nothing majorly wrong, comfortable bed, friendly staff and a pool. The one annoyance, however, was the distance from the hub of Savannah; the hotel was about a 30 minute drive to the main tourist spots such as the Bonaventure Cemetery and the Mercer Williams House. If you're looking for a clean and reasonably priced stop for a night then this Red Roof is fine, however, I'd prefer to stay closer to downtown Savannah

We stayed here after searching for hotels all night. It was 2am when we found this one, so were thankful for "just a bed". But: the tv's weren't working. I stayed in the "handicapped room" which was obviously an afterthought. The furniture was like you would find in your grandmother's house. The shower had no curtain, and the shower head was broken off and hanging over the railing. While they offered tea bags at breakfast, there was no hot water. A few sad muffiins. Will not stay again

We stopped here for a night on our way to Florida, and we made an excellent choice! The staff is so friendly, and the rooms are wonderful, the only thing we found wrong was the bathroom door wouldn't close, but that's an easy fix. Eva at the front counter was the best. When we look into visiting Savannah next year, we will definitely be considering the Red Roof Inn!

Pet friendly and the rooms don't smell like it. The romms were comfortable and clean enough. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast was okay. Toast, English muffins, cereal, etc. Eggs didn't look too appetizing but coffee was good.

We stayed just one night so the problem could have been fixed. It was during the peak of the Olympics looking forward to watching and hearing it. We could watch but the network volume wans't working called the front desk and they knew about it but said they couldn't do anything about. We would have stayed somewhere else if we were informed. The breakfast was just ok. Bedding and everything else was good.

I make a lot of last minute trips. We decided on a whim to go explore Savannah, Ga. I always use Booking.com and the rates near the historic district were out the roof. So I took a chance on The Red Roof Inn near I95. The rate was unbelievable and I knew nothing of the area, but I took a chance anyway. What a pleasant surprise!!!! The area was wonderful, the Inn was beautiful and clean. The staff was superb!!! It on took us 15 minutes to River St and to me that was well worth $200+ dollars saved... Read more

We were going to Savannah for a few days. We found this property on triapadvisor. I booked through booking.com. I was under the impression from my search online that the hotel was a bit closer to downtown. The property is about 10 miles from downtown. It is close to the freeway. Hotel was clean and neat. The room was ok. Looked just like the photos. The vent cover in the bathroom was down on the floor. The bed was comfortable. Room was average. Serious stains on sheets. The noise level was high.... Okay so my stay wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. The motel was somewhat clean. Bre the customer service person was the reason for the 4/5 stars. She was honest and truthful when I questioned regarding cockroaches. (They are a given in GA) She said they had been having problems on the 3rd floor but was putting me on a floor where no one had complained of them, which was the second floor. I opened the door and the little buggers were crawling all over the floor. I went down to the f... Read more

Friendly front desk. Modest hotel located at the very end of Frontage Rd. to the left of I 95. Clean and spartan. Laminate floors were disappointing. Faux lamp attached to wall. Small area near sink. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated extra plug ins near bedside but size very limiting for anything more than a book.

This was the nicest Red Roof Inn we have ever stayed in. The front desk personnel were very nice and even called to make sure everything in the room was good. The room was very clean. We were traveling with our Yorkie so our room was on the 1st floor. Rooms are very easy to get and and out with pets. Check in and check out was very easy. Great location, plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy access to I-95. Only issue -the AC in the room was a little noisy.

Didn't get to stay here. We have always traveled with Red Roof Inn. However, not this time! We booked a few weeks back and it was to be $66.60 for tomorrow (Saturday, 10/9). Because of the Hurricane, we changed the date to this coming Friday. Our quote was $102.60. Hmm, gouging much because of the hurricane?? We weren't happy at all with this so we canceled our reservation and went with Super 8 at $75.87 which is only four minutes away and has a better rating on TripAdvisor.

I stayed here for one night while I was traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Delaware. Its very easy to access from the freeway. The hotel is located at the end of the street from other hotels and is pretty isolated so you shouldn't have a problem with noise. The rooms were clean. Not a lot of restaurants that I saw within walking distance but if you like Cracker Barrel that is 5 minutes walking distance. There is a gas station nearby for snacks and other things. I would recommend it.

If I could give a 3.5, I would. To start, they have breakfast, a rarity at red roof. Everything was acceptable, but the attitude of the morning staff was a bit lackluster. We asked her to turn the TV station as we didnt want to hear the debate stuff; she rolled her eyes and turned down the TV. (odd response. ) The night staff, in comparison, we great. RED ROOF....let people know what locations have breakfast & which dont please.

The breakfast is good with almost anything you would want. we arrived with many other people wantto get a room. the clerck did a great job of getting everyone taken care of with out anyone getting upset.
