We stayed three nights in room 902. I must say it was a perfect location to walk to river street, resturants, tours, city market, and even walked to forsythe park. The place was spacious and very clean. And nice outside bar and inside resturant right out the door made for a nice night cap. We came with my grand daughter and she had plenty of room to play, etc. I highly recomend these apt especially for the price. We had a great stay!

If you are coming to Savannah you must stay at the Oglethorpe Lodge. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living room, and outdoor patio. There is one parking space included and concierge service available. The Lodge is next to the river and super convenient for the entire historic district. We absolutely loved staying here and appreciated all of the helpful suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We highly recommend this Lodge.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had new beds in the room. Bathroom was very clean. Only one complaint they turned off the water for an hour without notice. They were renovating. we will return soon hopefully to see the finished product.

The location of the Oglethorpe Lodge can't be beat. The free private parking spot in such a prime location was pretty awesome as well. The suite itself was lovely and incredibly spacious. My only complaint is that we had a rather rowdy group of guys staying below us who would come back slamming doors and generally making a ruckus at 2am. Since there is no onsite management there is not much you can do about a situation like that at the time. As a bonus we loved the Treylor Park restaurant wh... Read more

As others have said - location, location, location. This place is an awesome spot right in the heart of Savannah that was great for exploring...and the place was bigger than my apartment back home. This is more airbnb style condo living with a fully furnished apartment, a big living room, and everything was super nice and well maintained. Checking in and out was easy (check out was a little early though) and I had no issues while I was here. It is even more fun if you get a group to rent out all... Read more

We have stayed in hotels in Savannah many times. This time we opted for a vacation rental, and Oglethorpe Lodge was absolutely perfect! We had a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment decorated in the colonial style. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn't use it much. With so many great restaurants in Savannah, why cook in? The location was terrific for walking throughout the historic area, and the BEST part was that a parking space is included. Parking can be difficult to find i... Read more

After spending 4 days in a Holiday Inn in Charleston, this spacious room in Savannah was a God-send. The location is great, across the street from River Street and the rooms were great! Within the first few hours of being there my wife was already saying we should make this lodge an annual tradition. The down side is there are only 3 suites, one on each floor, and there is no elevator. We were on the third floor so walking that every day with little kids was the only unpleasant part of the trip.... Read more

We stayed on the second floor in suite 902 (three siblings) It's a two bedroom, but we used the sofa as a third bed. Three televisions, great AC, nice water pressure, clean, abundance of towels, shampoos, soaps etc. We were very pleased with this suite and highly recommend it. The restaurant at the base of the stairs has great food and drinks too. We had a check in by management on the second day to make sure we had enough towels and to see if we needed anything. 902 is only accessible by ... Read more

The downtown and River Street part of Savannah is a fun location to visit. It can sometimes be a struggle finding centralized and reasonably-priced lodging. On top of that, parking around the area isn't always easy. The Oglethorpe Lodge addresses all of these concerns, and in a great way. The entrance is located in an alley, next door to a brewery. The alley also provides off-street parking (one space for each apartment). And yes, these are apartment rentals. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apar... Read more
