If you're looking for a place to sleep near the airport that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg, consider the Inn at Mulberry Grove, but be forewarned, looks can be deceiving. You'll find the rooms to be dark & dated, with a hint of mildew in the air. With the Georgia Port right down the road, truck traffic is extremely heavy and you'll hear it all night - as well as the local prostitution traffic that comes with the over-the-road drivers. The sign outside promotes "hot breakfast with eggs, sa... Read more

We stayed here three nights and was highly impressed. The hotel is just outside Savannah making it very convenient. The room and hotel was exceptional clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was concerned by other reviews about noise from the truck stop across the street but we barely noticed it there and certainly heard no noise from it so I would stay again and recommend to others.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and it was very comfortable and convenient. The hotel had everything I needed for a safe, relaxing trip. The staff are amazing, and very accommodating. The value is great, you can't beat it in Savannah. I will definitely return to this property in the future!

So happy we found this place. Great price and clean motel. We stayed here on our trip to the mountains and again on the way home. Southern hospitality and told us about the Sweet Tea Grille down the street. We will be back!

It was fine. It's quite a ways from downtown Savannah. It was clean, but musky. Missing the little comforts you expect from most hotels: no shower mat to stand on when you get out of the shower, teeny tiny styrofoam coffee cup that can't hold the full coffee that is dispensed, no extra blankets (we sleep with the room cold) or extra pillows. Probably bring your own pillows if you can. But, it's clean. We only were at the room to sleep, otherwise we were out exploring. I feel for the $$ there ar... Read more

My husband needed to find a truck stop near a hotel and this is right across the street off exit 109. I was greeted with a friendly face and got a discount with my AAA membership. The room was clean and the a/c super cold. There were fresh clean towels and a fridge in the room. Candace recommended some places to eat in the area, and a great place to park downtown Savannah, which is about 22 minutes away via road 21. The breakfast buffet was better than most with a selection of hard boiled eggs, ... Read more

This is pretty much a no frills type of motel. Free breakfast (limited), clean rooms, quiet stay. Nice hotel at bargain prices! We didn't have time (or the gumption after driving so long) to go downtown, but historic Savannah is only 15 minutes from hotel.

Not an Inn, definitely not a Hotel, the adequate wording would be an Old Dirty Motel. The smell of mildew is there to greet you as soon as you open the room. I would say "Keep your shoes on" if you don't want to feel the moist stained old carpet under your toes. Everything else is pretty much peeling, fading and stained. Who knows when it was throughly clean. I personally cannot comment on the shower, we were there for one night and I chose not to stand butt naked in that disgusting thing. We go... Read more

My dad and I stayed here for two nights and found the inn to be unexpectedly nice. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The furniture might be a little dated, but it's kind of classy. We would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at this nondescript motel on the final leg of a road trip from CT to Florida. I was tired. Alas, although I was told the room was ready and given the key, it was not. I sat and waited until it was made up. I noticed while waiting that the premises were dirty. The room was small with just one window overlooking the parking lot. When I awoke after dark, there was a cockroach coming out of the air conditioning system. I tried to kill it but it scuttled back in. When I telephoned the front... Read more

This hotel is beyond TERRIBLE!!!! Not only was the hotel old, with terrible beds. There was a snake in our room!!!!!! The snake came out at 10:07 pm and we were terrified. After we escaped, we had to find some where else to go after we had a long day. I am a travel agent and I have to say that this I the worst property I have experienced in my entire career! Do yourself a favor....stay safe and DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Stayed here overnight on the way to Florida. I booked through Priceline, and when bidding on a room it said that the hotel would be similar to a holiday inn express or a best western, however, this was no where close. There was mold growing in the bathroom, and there was dust everywhere. The carpet was sticky as were the comforters. My daughter's feet were black after walking around barefoot. The beds were very uncomfortable, everyone woke up with a sore back next morning. You could hear your ne... Read more

This hotel is awful. I only came here, because Priceline sent me here with no refund. My husband and I came from out of town visiting family. They need to air that place out and renovate the whole entire place. You can smell the awful old mildew smell from the stairs walking to the room. I did not see any mildew, because it looks like they just painted the room. The smell was stronger when we entered the room. The carpet and furniture is old and dusty. The chair in the room looked like they trie... Read more

Friendly, clean enough, easy freeway access, comfortable mattress, modest but free breakfast. This place is FANTASTIC for the value price. There are lots of hotels in the area to choose from but if you are looking for a place to rest and shower, the Inn at Mulberry would be hard to beat.
