Make sure you are not above the air handlers on the lower roof as it makes it extremely hard to sleep because they sound like a jet engine. Other than the noise issue it is a very nice hotel with a very good staff. They offer a outstanding breakfast in the morning.

The rooms were nice, and the staff were professional, but I would not recommend this hotel. They do not offer complimentary breakfast, and the breakfast they do offer is very expensive. If you go out to eat breakfast, the traffic is awful and there are no nearby restaurants. Also, the parking was bad; not enough spots available for guests, and had to use the neighboring hotels parking garaga.

I have been at Hilton properties during my travels and this has easily been the lowest level of service. Primary complaints were the malfunctioning toilet requiring three calls to the.front desk and housekeeping that ignored our request to come back after 15 mins and never did our room. And at no point did the hotel staff acknowledge that we might have had a bad experience. They just didn't notice that there were issues.

We arrived to a clean room and friendly staff. We stayed in a double room. There was construction across the street so getting in was a bit tricky because of workers and equipment. But our room was quiet and the hotel is close to stores and shopping. So if you're staying for a few days, getting bottled water and snacks is easy. It's a straight drive down the street to get to the historic district. Breakfast is reasonably priced for what you get and it's included for elite members.

Very impressed with this location. Had wanted to stay downtown but was unable to get a reservation so booked this hotel. The Hilton app made everything super easy- even checking in and choosing the room. Friendly staff, keurig in the room, the most comfy beds (there's a dial to select your personal level of mattress firmness), and seriously the best shower head ever. I would definitely recommend this location- downtown is just a few miles away.

After extensive research, I chose this Hilton Garden Inn Midtown because it was more reasonably and the free parking a plus. It was worth the 10 min. drive to historic downtown. Check-in easy with courteous Ana, and every staff member appeared cordial and friendly. The spacious room was clean, contained a small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The reason for our visit was my grandchildren were coming for Savannah State University and they had a orientation at the time of our visit. I was very upset about the small parking area but it was because of the construction and additional hotels in that area. I still would check out any of additional Hilton Garden Inns in an area just as close to the college. Thanks Barbara Powell

The hotel had a funny odor as if the carpet had been wet for days and left to air dry (like mildew) especially on the elevators. Breakfast was ok, the server that worked on August 6, 2016 was not very attentive didn't even come over to the table to check on us to see if everything was ok, had to ask for my ticket, the busser did all the work (bringing us coffee, silverware, asking if we need anything) so he is the one who got the tip. My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend in Savannah. We were in town for our University's Homecoming. Our class chose the hotel. The Hilton Garden Inn Midtown helped to make it a great stay! We were on the 2nd floor; around the corner from the elevators and next to the ice machine. We didn't hear either after closing the door!

This was a very nice hotel. very clean. They were very helpful when it came to helping with directions for the city..How ever it was little more expensive for hardly any accommodations. And if you want breakfast it is extra $10 a person..

Hotel quality was very nice. This is the second time staying here and am very satisfied! Parking can be an issue, but once you park there arw many restraunts within walking distance. Great place and wounderful staff.

My problem with this hotel was resolved, but not until the second night, after I had 2 hours sleep the previous night because they placed me in room #625. That room backs up to the elevator bank and the noise kept me awake ALL but 2 hours. I slept from about 2:30am until about 4:30am...I guess that was when everyone else was asleep and no one was using the elevator. They should turn that room into a storage room and NOT a guest room. DO NOT STAY in room #625!

Worst night sleep of my life. The beds are terrible and you need six pillows for a kind of neck support. It's a great location for restaurants and conscience to grocery stores. I would stay across the street at the brand new Marriott Fairfield for the next visits though.

Prepare to not be wowed. This hotel was certainly not what I'm used to experiencing from other HGIs all over the country. There is a distinct smell of mold in this hotel. You smell it throughout the hallways as well as in the rooms. There was a ring in my toilet to match the very visible build up around the shower head. There was just a general air of uncleanliness about the room. The pillows are terrible! They offer no neck support; therefore, I was not able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfa... Read more

Everything squeeky clean and well maintained. Property is conveniently located. Parking is scarce if you get back to your room late. We were in town to get away as a couple and it was nice to be close to everything but sufficiently removed.

Underwhelming but fine hotel. . Not close to historic Savannah. Rooms smelled of mold. Very limited parking. Pleasant staff and good breakfast options. Would have liked more options in the hotel shop in terms of food/snacks

Clean acceptable room, nothing fancy. The staff was friendly, not overly helpful, the restaurant not worth the money and the Pool was dirty. The location is the best thing about this place, not far from historic Savannah and close to shopping I loved that Starbucks was a close walk in the morning

Room was dirty, bathroom also. They have not maintained either. The bed covers, linens and mattress covers were not clean. Not a restful place for the night. The staff was friendly, we were given a complimentary bar voucher. Didn't make the night stay worth it.

We were at Baymont Inn and Suites and the service there was just deplorable (just like Trump and his supporters), the room was filthy and we just couldn't stay there any longer and we immediately checked out and the Hilton Garden Inn welcomed us on short notice with excellent service, a great price and a clean room which had a whirlpool in it.

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Midtown. It was great. The bartender Carlin was polite and friendly. Believe it or not, the food was really good and the drinks were not watered down :). Noe at the front desk as helpful in every way. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

I came in one night inquiring about a room to book at the last minute, and the front desk clerk Leilani was very helpful. She was extremely busy at the time but was very productive and efficient with helping the other customers. Even though I was just inquiring about a future stay she was genuinely helpful and patient and that kind of help is hard to come by.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday for four days and loved every minute of our whirlpool room with king-sized bed. The rates were very reasonable and the pool was still open and it was warm enough to use it; what a relaxing vacation!
