Very nice and accommodating. They showed us other available rooms when we arrived and allowed us to move to another more favorable room. Evening wine and cheese was a nice way to meet other guests. Breakfast was prepared when we were seated and was hot and delicious. Parking can be a challenge, just like everywhere in the city.

Our time in Savannah at the Hamilton-Turner Inn was wonderful. We couldn't have enjoyed it more - great room, great food, great staff and service. We highly recommend the Hamilton-Turner inn and will certainly stay there again..

Our stay was very enjoyable. The amenities were excellent and the service outstanding. The breakfast is 5 star. We drove and stayed 3 nights. They made sure we had parking and helped with the luggage. I loved that we were next door to St. John the Baptist Cathedral and I was able to go to daily Mass at 7:30 am. The Cathedral opens at 7:00 am for morning Mass.

Ideally located in the historic district of Savannah, the Hamilton is a beautifully and authentically preserved old inn. The room we had was very large and beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Gourmet breakfast is served each morning.

Excellent location, complimentary happy hour in the main parlor and scrumptious breakfast daily, as well as beautifully appointed rooms. We stayed in the James Oglethorpe Suite which I highly recommend. It is large, comfortable and overlooks historic Lafayette Square. It is appointed such that you feel you have stepped into Antebellum history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book here again.

Beautiful Inn! We stayed in the carraige house. It was clean and very nice. And maybe a little more private than the rooms in the main house; however, those rooms are probably even more sumptuous and beautiful. Breakfast times were assigned and were absolutely delicious!!

Visited 4 years ago, many improvements with new owners. Loved it then, loved it even more now. Bathrooms greatly imroved, breakfasts were excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. The whole ambiance lends an atmosphere of relaxation and true southern hospitality. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and thouroghly enjoyed it. Will go back again.

Hamilton Turner inn is situated in a beautiful Square called Lafayette. It is in the historic district. It is a dated grand house that once belonged to a Doctor, it still has a reputation of being haunted. We were greeted by Dennis, who took all our cases upstairs, we sat in a beautiful room which I can discribe as a parlour. The decor is beautiful with hand painted walls and lovely furniture to match. Dennis then realised he had made a mistake and in actual fact our room was downstairs. Un... Read more

Loved the 19th century experience. Stayed in the Mary Telfair Room with a beautiful bay window overlooking an old tree with Spanish moss hanging from the branches. The furniture and bedding was truly 19th century style and absolutely gorgeous!! Super comfortable bed. Clean and modern bathrooms, yet with an "old" feel. Common sitting area beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Not crazy about the stairs. A bit steep. Have to hold on to bannister. Good location right in front of beautiful squ... Read more

Great location, modern amenities, excellent food. The staff was friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Very pleased with my stay. It was like going back in time. If i had to make a suggestion, better accommodations for parking would be appreciated, however i had such a good time that didn't bother us at all.

We stopped at this Inn for three nights, we wished we could've stayed longer. I cannot fault the Inn whatsoever, it was a lovely place. Firstly and foremost the staff, they were wonderful, they were always there (but discrete) to do anything for you. The Inn is sumptuously decorated to the highest standard, as are the bedrooms we were in the John Habersham in the basement. There were a few sittings for breakfast and were (for me) a little too formal, but that isn't a criticism, that's just m... Read more

The Hamilton-Turner Inn was our first experience with a B&B along with our first visit to Savannah. This Inn is absolutely gorgeous! We loved our stay there! Exceptional staff - Jeremy was there in the evening when we arrived, completely accommodating, friendly and helpful. We didn't know what to expect but this Inn completely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I stayed at the Hamilton Turner Inn for our anniversary trip. We were met at the door by Jeremy who went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we could possibly want or need. Our room was amazing, the breakfast was beyond expectations, and the stay was perfect. We would definitely recommend staying here to any of our friends as well as plan to go back ourselves. It truly was amazing.

Everything about our stay, from the fabulous southern breakfast to the attentive service, was perfect. We stayed in the Earl of Chatham Suite on the 3rd floor, which had a lovely view of Lafayette Square. I have stayed in Savannah multiple times, but this will be where I rest my head during future visits. Highly recommended.

We've stayed at several "bed and breakfast" style places, but this was by far the best! We stayed in a bottom floor room and had an additional private door heading directly outside, which was great for loading/unloading luggage. The staff was as courteous and helpful as you could want, they even called us a couple days before our arrival and offered to help us with booking activities or dinner reservations, which we took them up on of course. Last thing, the breakfast was one of the best parts -... Read more

What a way to surprise my daughter for her 21st birthday. Hamilton-Turner did not miss a thing. They sent her a complimentary bottle of champagne when we arrived and added all sorts of touches along the way. The restaurant choices they made were top notch and we cannot wait to return. The history of the Inn and Susan's hospitality deserve top notch ratings!! Thank you for an amazing time.

After having renovated the Hamilton Turner house 40 years ago and turning it into apartments, I am exceedingly impressed with its current incarnation as a bed and breakfast. All the beautiful details that we had tried to preserve during that first renovation have been perfectly restored and refinished. The bathrooms are objets d'art, the breakfast are a culinary delight and the staff friendly and helpful. We love staying there and will continue to do so every time we get back to Savannah.

My wife and usually stay at B&Bs instead of hotels, and Hamilton-Turner has been the best so far. We don't expect fancy breakfasts, but the three we had at the inn were works of art and tasted wonderful. Wine hour and port hour were served in a very nice room with plenty of comfortable seating. The whole inside of the main house was beautiful and the carriage house was very peaceful.

My wife and I had a marvelous experience at the Hamilton Turner House. The house is spectacular and charming inside and out. We stayed downstairs in the Isaiah Davenport room and it was very comfortable and spacious enough for the two of us. The staff was very kind and courteous. The food was delicious as well...we especially enjoyed the wife and hors d'oeuvres hour!!! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly suggest anyone to stay here. It made our visit to Savannah very special!

The worst part of our stay at the Hamilton Turner, was that it was only one night! The INN is beautiful! Tim, the General Manager, is a true gentleman and a wealth of knowledge! Our room was fantastic, located in the old carrage house. Breakfast was amazing. We will defineltly return if back in Savanah
