Most likely the worst Marriott property I have stayed at (and I am a platinum elite member). Bathroom so moldy that we would have skipped showers had we not spent 8 hours in a car. Had to run to a local gas station for shampoo because apparently the "hotel" was out of shampoo! With so many other properties at the same exit off I-95, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would also recommend Corporate Marriott to take a very close look at this property

Immediately available off I-95, this is a regular stop for us. The front desk personnel are as upbeat and gracious as you'll find anywhere. Rooms are always clean and it is pet and smoke free! Breakfast is complimentary, has good variety and prepared by a friendly and gracious staff. The location is within walking distance of Sam Snead's which is where we always eat and have never failed to meet great people.

This hotel has THE FRIENDLIEST staff ever! Teresa and Traci must train every person on their staff to treat their guests as if they are staying at a luxury resort. The accommodations are good, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is ok, but I come back because of the hospitality.

My husband and I stayed here to join my son and his girlfriend who were visiting for the weekend to pick out an apt. The lobby is clean and open to the breakfast seating section. The front desk staff were friendly but seemed kind of confused at times when asked a question. The indoor pool area is small with a small outdoor seating area. The breakfast didn't seem very appealing so I didn't eat here during our stay. Our room was decent with a refrigerator...the bathroom appeared clean enough.... Read more

I only stay at Marriotts because of the rewards program. However this one was a little less than what I use to. The staff were great and the breakfast was what i had come to expect. The internet was fast & the gym while small had a sign up that said guests had free access to the Anytime Fitness. I will upload this picture. There were 2 TVs in the room with great pictures. I'm pretty easy going so the room was fine. Nothing that really impressed me but a little better than a 3. The room had a fu... Read more

This is my second visit here in the past 12 months. Staff was just as friendly and efficient as the first visit. Lots of nearby places for food. Convenient to the Savannah airport. Recommend this as a good stop over on trips up and down the Rt 95 corridor.

We stayed overnight on our way to Orlando, Florida. It was great! Even though we only stayed one night it was a great stay. It was very close to the airport, close to the interstate and close to several different food choices. It was also close to an outlet mall for shopping. My husband has a hard time sleeping on different beds, but this bed was excellent and he slept wonderfully. The breakfast this next morning was great, and offered a great variety of food, including healthy choices. ... Read more

We arrived late and left early. What I observed in our short time was that the bed was comfortable, the a/c worked well, the room was clean and the shower head rocks. Add to that the desk clerk was very nice on our check in. The breakfast was ample. The hotel overlooks a lovely pond, which adds to the aesthetics. Easy access to I-95.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport and they do have a shuttle that is shared with other hotels that are all close by. The cleanliness level at this hotel was not what we were used to at a Fairfield Inn. The curtains were full of dust and needed a good washing. The beds were clean but the pillows were not as fresh smelling as they should have been. The pool was disappointing as it was inside and opening the door to the outside patio was discouraged as the a/c was on inside. We stay... Read more

Stayed 4 nights, Theresa, checked us in and was very nice. She gave us a quick call once we were settled in our room to make sure all was ok, and to remind us if we needed anything to call the front desk. Room was clean and quiet. Was quick and easy to get to the Savannah district and Tybee Island.

Drove down for work, ended up spending the night - what a mistake! I took a chance and stayed here at Fairfield based on favorable past experiences at other locations. I do not recommend this location!! Spent way too much for a very uncomfortable bed, a toilet that ran all night, morning breakfast that was not fully stocked and a staff with no personality. The whole experience is not worth the $167.00 bill.

standard airport hotel, but with exceptional front desk service....pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. check in was quick and efficient. when asked, michela was kind enough to refer me to the sam sneed restaurant and gave me a discount coupon. when i saw her later, she was kind enough to ask how i enjoyed the dinner. the complimentary breakfast was acceptable. i would stay here again.

The only real good thing about it is the close proximity to the airport. Close to some good restaurants. Close to the Tanger Outlet. It is a few moments from the "real Savannah". This is Pooler, not Savannah. Needs billboards to be found.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn on our recent vacation to Savannah and enjoyed it immensely. Room was clean and very roomy and service was friendly and helpful. Have stayed at different Fairfield Inns by Marriott in the past and have never had a bad experience.

Stayed on our way down to Florida. Fine for overnight but honestly lots of other comparable priced places all around. Had been updated but the old hotel shows thru. We had tried to get early check in because my son was sick but they weren't ready. Completely understandable. Check in is at three and that's when they told us to come back. We were back at three and room still wasn't ready. Waited in lobby until 3:30. Front desk said they only had two housekeepers that day and apologized. Should'v... Read more

Stayed with my family for overnight! Do Not Stay Here!!! Woke up in the morning to no running water in the shower, only a dribble of just hot water coming out of the sink & no water in toilet so couldn't use it or flush! I was extremely disappointed!! Hotel was packed because two functions going on. At check out waited 10min because I wanted to complain about the room & no one showed up at front desk. Left my key & left!!

Was in town for a class reunion and was very pleased. I was happy for the close proximity to the airport and ease of access to downtown. Pooler is a developing area in Savannah that was not there when I was attending school. The rooms very nice and I was treated respectfully as a senior citizen. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of things to do in the area. My stay was enjoyable and I will suggest it to others visiting Savannah.

I was very impressed the way the staff treated me at this hotel. They were so friendly and truly cared about what I needed. The air in our room was not working so they moved us to a different room and even took $20 off the room rate. The hotel was very clean. It is about 15 mins to downtown Savannah. The staff are wonderful here!

Just checked in and as far as first impressions go I am very pleased! Past experiences with Fairfield have not been great but this may convince me to give them another try. The hotel is clean, up-to-date decor, and the beds feel great. Conveniently located to eating and shopping along with free shuttle service to nearby places. Check-in was a breeze and friendly. She gave me all the information I needed about the hotel without me having to ask. Will definitely note this location for my future Sa... Read more

We had reservations. We arrived around 4 pm. I wanted a cup of coffee so bad; but every pot was empty. I told the two people at the desk, but they didn't comment or offer to make any. Beside where the coffee was SUPPOSED to be; was a big bowl filled with black bananas. Our room smelled musty, and it wasn't very clean. My husband went down an hour later; and there was STILL no coffee. He had to go to the desk and ask them to make it. The clock in our room did not work. When I picked up the ice bu... Read more

Having arrived late at night and deciding not to stay where we had originally planned due to terrible odors in both rooms reserved, we decided to try the Savannah airport area. After not being able to enter a couple of other hotels nearby due to the late hour, AJ at Fairfield Inn allowed us to check out the two connecting rooms he had available which were great. He treated us very well and we had a very enjoyable stay. Theresa at the desk was also very helpful.

Just a quick overniter while visiting grandchildren. I was about to make another reservation when this groupon rate popped up. For $73, this was more than accommodating. If I had paid more, I would put more emphasis on the very uncomfortable beds. They squished like jello. The staff was accommodating and the room was comfortable. Housekeeping could pay a little more attention to stray hairs on the bathroom floor and placing bedskirts so they hang onto the floor. But for $73, who's complai... Read more

Just off I 95 north of Savannah with a nearby walk-to restaurant and plenty of chains a short drive. No bad surprises. Everybody I saw seemed to be senior citizen couples who tend not to run up and down the halls using their out door voices. Some worn carpets and older bathroom fixtures but it was clean and everything worked.

I will preface this with my husband and I weren't expecting the Taj mahal. We know it's a fairfield and we are typically laid back people. We walk in and check in was fine. Pool broken and we were told after we signed a paper that things are down due to hurricane, no biggie. We go to room and first thing we see... a dirty nasty dusty PHONE. No not the wall a phone in plain sight. How do you not notice that? I look down the wall and it's covered in dirt and dust. But, we press on. We go to dinner... Read more

We stayed here for one night as we headed towards Florida. We booked what was called a studio suite. Our room had a terrific view of a swampy lake area.... An interesting view. The room was nicely decorated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was included and very typical. It was just a short walk to a restaurant called Sam Snead's and it was very good. There's also a Waffle House nearby. There are likely other places but once we park our car after a long da... We drove from Hilton Head Island to Savannah to participate in the Savannah Rock 'n Roll Marathon Series. Since the race starts downtown at 7:30 and since downtown hotels near the start line are very expensive, we opted to stay at the airport area (numerous properties to choose) and take a pre-paid shuttle to the start line. I was checked in quickly by Theresa and Jessica who welcomed me as a Marriott rewards member. Theresa spent several minutes trying to locate shuttle information for me.... Read more

Easy access off I-95. Plenty of restaurant choices either walking or driving distance. We had requested a handicapped room and were given a handicapped room. My only recommendation would be have a handicap access shower. The check in staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.

An average hotel, clean and adequate for a one night stay; a bit dated; inexpensive when we stayed. Near the Interstate, airport and chain restaurant like LongHorn. We were just passing through on our way to Florida and it was a good stopping point.
