This is a beautiful old Inn in a great part of town. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. They serve free bottled water and coffee 24 hours a day and lemonade during the day. The front desk people are very helpful and friendly. We got a room with a private patio and the wife loved it! It's an old building with creaky floors to add to the ambiance.... Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the basement. The Inn is right across the street from river and all the shops down there, a... Read more

This inn is located in the center of Savannah and it's easy to walk to most anything from there. The people working at the inn are very personable and friendly, and there are lots of extras offered; like happy hour, cookies, lemonade, a turn-down service, and advice on places to go and eat. I would gladly stay there again!

This B&B has great charm. Stayed in a large room with large windows and tastefully decorated. Small things like cold lemonade waiting for you after a walk around the city was appreciated. Delicious breakfast that was included. Located right near the riverfront with shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to the squares. Will definitely be returning!

The minute you step inside, you feel you have stepped back into history. Upbeat friendly staff that make you feel like you are coming home each time you go out for a stroll and come back in the door. Romantic and clean rooms, very comfortable bed after your long walks around town. Location was perfect for starting out at the riverfront and working yourself straight up the the middle of town through all the squares. Just ask locals " which way is the river" and you find your way back so easily.

My sisters and I stayed here last week and had a wonderful time, the room was beautiful, staff were super friendly and helpful, location great! What a different experience that you get compared to cookie cutter hotels, this Inn lets you really feel the Savannah you dream of. Really enjoyed the appetizers and wine. Strongly recommend you stay here with Ron, the Inn Keeper, and his lovely staff.

The East Bay Inn is a very nice, cozy bread and breakfast type of inn. It's in an awesome historic downtown location. The inn itself has a historic building feel. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is great. Staff are very friendly. Not a lot of parking so you'll find yourself strategizing when to leave or not. Given the inn's location, the main reason to leave would probably be to go to the beach.

My husband and I met in Savannah 6 years ago and decided to make it our first stop in our move from Florida to Alaska. It was the most magical experience we have had in this incredible city. The staff was beyond helpful and so welcoming. Our room was even more majestic than we could have imagined. So glad we found this place. ??????????

Beautifully appointed room with period atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us good advice and bottles of water as it was 100 degrees. There was complimentary wine and cheese from 5:30-7. Our beds turned down and a mint left in our pillows. Perfect. Sadler's Restaurant located in the downstairs of the inn was as good and better than others we visited.

We stayed at East Bay Inn for one night with our two grandchildren and our dog. We would definitely return! The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable. The Inn is an old 1800s cotton warehouse; the floors are gorgeous, and everywhere you look there's an elegant touch: exposed brick, antique furnishings, high ceilings. Think "character" and you won't be disappointed. Added touches include the wine and appetizer time from 5:30 to 7 pm, and the breakfast from 7 to 9:30 am. The dining room is beau... Read more

With a great location close to the river in the historic district, I recommend this hotel. Nothing is perfect, so I will share that to another hotel guest 'pet-friendly' meant they could leave their big dog in the room to bark continually while they went sightseeing. Not really the fault of the hotel (they left after one night), but I had to share this. There is a wine&cheese reception every afternoon, and the breakfast buffet is good. I had a terrific 'Superior King' room facing the busy street... Read more

The inn was beautiful with large rooms. The bed was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in! The location was in proximity to everything you would want to see. I would highly recommend staying here. The only odd thing was that our room didn't have a closet, but this is such a minor detail compared to the amazingness of everything else!

We stayed at the East Bay Inn for one night on our trip to Florida. It is a very old hotel, beautifully decorated in period decor. The location is excellent, right across from River Street. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, both to my husband and me and to our 2 little dogs. It is surprising that they do welcome pets; not all quality hotels do. The breakfast was excellent; I had never had biscuits and gravy and decided to try them since I was in the south. They were wonderful. Flaky comp... Read more

Southern charm and hospitality made our stay here very enjoyable. Breakfast in the basement restaurant included grits and home made biscuits and gravy. All the inn staff were very helpful, getting us started on our tours of the old city. Great location. We walked everywhere we wanted to see.

The staff was very helpful and this is one of the better deals for parking in the historic district. The room was gorgeous with incredibly high ceilings, interior brick, and well-appointed throughout. Breakfast was good and wifi worked solidly, so this was a perfect stay for a turn-around business trip.

We wanted to see Savannah first hand. What a great choice East Bay was. The location is perfect. We parked the car and didn't move it for three days. Anything we asked about was taken care of. The room was gorgeous. Breakfast in the basement was a real surprise treat. We didn't expected biscuits, grits, eggs, and a meat each day. The kitchen staff was wonderful. They never left a spill go for over three seconds, the coffee was always full and tables cleaned. Sheila, Julie Ann, and Melvin were in... Read more

East Bay Inn was located within walking distance of many of the historic sites, tour buses, City Market area. In fact, we never drove our car for 5 days. The staff was very friendly and knew the best places to eat. The room was huge and comfortable. Complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh lemonade was available. While the daily breakfast of eggs, a meat, fresh biscuits was very good I was a little bit disappointed that there were no homemade pastries or breakfast breads. I thought that was part of... One of our best hotel stays. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional. The interior is beautiful and the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. It's within walking distance of shopping and dining. The innkeeper even checked the road conditions for our next destination the morning we left. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the East Bay Inn to anyone planning on staying in Savannah.

The East Bay Inn was beautifully decorated with antiques and lovely fabrics. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a view facing towards the Factors Walk and though there was traffic below, it was not loud enough to interfere with the quiet and stately ambiance of the room. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as were the people who prepared our breakfast each morning. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend the East Bay Inn to anyone visiting Savannah!

This was a great stay, and one of the few places I could find in Savannah that would allow my two furry babies to stay. (One dog and one cat-many places would not allow our cat.) They were very pet friendly, and had a goodie bag for my dog when I checked in. It would have been nice if they had one with cat treats also, but still very very thoughtful. The employees were all very nice and helpful. The rooms did not have refrigerators, and we had medicine and food that needed to be kept cold fo... Read more

We had to attend a wedding in Savannah the week after hurricane Mathew. Luckily Savannah was spared any real damage. I travel a fair amount and get tired of hotel rooms. This trip my wife and I decided to pick something a little different . East Bay Inn was very nice and the staff was very accommodating. Location was very good due to the proximity to River Street which was where the wedding was held. I would definitely stay there again if in Savannah.

Stayed at the East Bay Inn during a recent trip to Savannah. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location in the historic district is perfect. However we found the rooms were not very well cleaned at all. Additionally the hotel allows pets and we had barking dogs well into the evening and early the morning.
