What can you expect for $100 a night. The rooms are large and for the most part clean. The front desk staff is helpful and do their best. They need an upgrade with their business center. The computers are way to out dated and very slow. I tried for over an out to read my email and print a document. Their breakfast is very lacking. Not very many options at all. The staff is so-so. One lady was exceptional and the other was not. Overall nothing more than an average place to stay.

This hotel was nice, however we stayed here during the days leading up to the Master's as business travelers. During this time the cancellation policy is 7 days. Because we were on business we needed to shorten our trip by 1 day and check out 1 day early due to business plans changing. This hotel would not accommodate, instead they wanted the over $200 fee. I do not recommend staying here during the Master's unless you plan to attend the Master's and stay the entire planned duration as th... Read more

Check in went smoothly, rooms comfortable, house keeping a little slow but do excellent work, dining area a bit dated but full hot breakfast was a nice surprise. Pool was nice and warm with a hot tub that hit the spot. Check out also went smoothly. Desk Agent April checked us in and was there to check us out she was very helpful to our needs and quick to respond to our request.

Stayed here on a trip to Atlanta just so we didn't have to drive those last 2 1/2 hours at night. Clean, quiet room. The staff was friendly. Breakfast hit the spot. No, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but I would definitely recommend this location on a stop through. The bartender, Rich, was a super nice guy also!

Check in was "oh, I have to go help someone-pause party time" hurry to do job and get back. Breakfast buffet is not completely self service and it should be. Rooms need a refresh and update. Poor patch jobs, worn furniture. Very disappointed.

My room is a mess. Cracked sink, busted lampshade on the single bedside lamp and mysterious stain on the bed skirt are a few features of the room. There's a loud hum that rattles the walls. It's not the room's AC unit. I recorded the sound on my phone. While watching/listening to the playback things were flying around. The walls are thin. I heard everything. Sorry neighbors. My stay came with a free breakfast. I went down early-heck I was up. The restaurant was short- staffed. The ... Read more

I have traveled all over Europe and United States, and this one by far was the worst. When we arrived, our room temp was so hot, we left to go somewhere to get cool, and when we got back, our room was a little bit cooler, but not cooling down properly>So I called front desk, he said he would send someone to look at it, and they never showed up.We could not sleep very well in a hot room.Breakfast is a joke.No body helped this women who was working by herself.I left a green tea bottle on top of the ... So I had to knock off one star for two reasons. Otherwise my stay was rather pleasant and I would stay here again and recommend it to others. I chose this hotel because it is IHG and had laundry facilities and is, well, Holiday Inn. There is a pool which is nice for laps during the day and everyone is really nice and accomodating. Since I stayed for 11 days and had to come and go throughout the day I noticed that the housekeeping staff truly take all day to clean the room. They first collect to... Read more

The sleeping room was good. Clean, comfortable bed. the hotel restaurant was good. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff was real good. Felt good and secure. Quiet, it was an enjoyable stay. I really like a hotel that I wake up feeling like I'm at home.

Nice hotel, great atmosphere. Nice breakfast. Rooms are clean and maintained. Pool was nice, until after7pm. Then people were letting it others not booked at the hotel to swim. They let them on the back door, cars drove up and dropped people off. Pool was way overcrowded for a Saturday night. Staff didn't even check capacity, noise level was outrageous

When I walked into the hotel that I had previously booked on Priceline at 12:15am July 2, 2016, I said Hello, my name is and I have a reservation here for the next 2 nights. The male clerk Nikia or something like that yelled at me and said "No you don't" I said that I do and that I could give him my confirmation number, he yelled again & said "just give me your ID" I gave it to him then he looked. He gave me a paper to initial & sign then got upset that I wanted to read it. He also gave me keys... Read more

I would like to share an experience I had with the Holiday Inn Augusta West I-20 this week (July 26 & 27). I was traveling to Augusta, GA (I travel 3-4 weeks a month and am a IHG Rewards Club Member) for work this week. My trip down to Augusta was uneventful aside from some challenges with the jet way in Charlotte. I was able to get a rental car after 30+ minutes due to the rental car company overbooking (an inconvenience, but not unsurmountable) so I was a bit on edge and ready to relax by t... Read more

The hotel is in a pretty good location, and it's a little off the road, which I liked. I selected it mostly for the indoor pool. Overall, it's a good place to stay. With quirks like a popcorn machine in the lobby and the indoor pool, it's family-friendly. However, there were oddities, e.g. they charge your credit card for "incidentals" ahead of your stay, and you have to wait several days after checkout for it to be refunded, or the "complimentary" breakfast doesn't come with beverages. You have... Read more

So we came for just a quick getaway. Our room was not bad, second floor, pretty modern, jetted tub, huge enough for me (5'7") and my guy (6'3"), and we still had wiggle room. The bed was soft, the pillows were soft. Couple of cons so pay attention. First was the wifi. We had issues connecting so my guy went downstairs to talk to the front desk, no luck, she was so busy she just pointed him to the business center which by the way he still was unable to connect to the wifi via laptop. So what we h... Read more

I liked this Holiday Inn because it is out of the city limits. It makes morning travel much easier. It is also an extremely clean hotel - not that most Holiday Inns aren't clean; this place is just exceptional. The staff that I spoke with - front desk and housekeeping - were all friendly with good, positive attitudes. The room itself was very comfortable and include a fridge and microwave. There are also places close by that deliver as well as restaurants to visit close by. It is easily accessib... Read more

Soooo...I'm trying to decide if I've entered twilight zone brought to you by holiday inn. I arrived at an hour before check in. Most of the hotels I'm used to are on point and have the rooms clean ahead of time....so I figured it would be no big deal but I was turned away and told to return at 3:00p.m. I come to check in at 3:00 p.m. and I'm told to wait 15 minutes via housekeeping through the radio. I check back at 3:20 p.m. and they tell me 10 more minutes via housekeeping through the radio..... Read more

We stopped in Augusta on our way north from vacation and were pleased to find a nice Holiday Inn. A good location out of the city, so fairly quiet. Room was comfortable and unlike others I had little trouble with the WiFi. We were on the top floor so the stay was, as I said, quiet. Breakfast for us was a high-lite. Oh the food was average or a bit above, it was nice to be served. Tabatha was an excellent hostess and kept my coffee mug full. She was pleasent and efficient. Made our stay enjoy... Read more

The actual room was fine and I appreciated that there was a fridge and microwave. However, the booking and billing at this hotel is horrific. This was the host hotel for the USARA National Championship so many of the racers were booked here. I booked 9 months in advance to ensure my team had rooms here at the host hotel and requested rooms that were adjoining. Upon checking in many racers reservations were not honored because of a booking error on the hotel's part. These racers were moved t... Read more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn West Augusta over the weekend. I had tried to call on the way there to make sure we had a King sized bed and was put on hold for 15 minutes and Brittany never came back to the phone. I finally hung up, waited about 1/2 an hour and called back only to be put on hold again by Brittany but only 7 minutes this time to come back and curtly tell me that yes, we were in a King room. ( I really don't know why it took a total of over 20 minutes and 2 phone calls to find tha... Read more

To our delight, on Halloween Day, Shannon at the front desk in her delightfully witchy costume and brilliant smile checked us in for an overnight stay. There was a very large bowl of candy, including Snickers & Milky Way's for us to choose from and then the biggest surprise was the complimentary gift bags presented to not only the two of us staying there but also my friend who stopped by to visit! I was speechless at the generosity of this particular Holiday Inn and knew in my heart that this ho... Read more

Had a nice stay. Very good staff, room was very nice. Common areas do need a freshing up (carpet etc) Staff was very helpful. Was not able to have the included breakfast, due to schedule. . Would stay here again. Good location, multiple resturant choices both within walking distance and/or a short drive.

Hotel has a restaurant and bar so that is nice. The elevators are the slowest around, the right one even jumps a little when you approach a floor at times. If its a weekend or they have the event hall being used, dont get rooms 218 or there about. It was like I was in the hall listening to the whole thing. Didnt stop until 11pm. My rooms shower rod was hanging down some so the curtain wouldnt stay closed and would slowly move to the middle.
