Excel Ll Enjoyable stay and the service was great. I would recommend this location to family and friends. However, I would suggest to have the rooms serviced for bugs because I did find one crawling in the bed.

Excellent hotel in town, but a bit of a drive from the highway. Once we arrived, we found everything we needed. Rooms were clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything you expect from a Hilton hotel.

It is a nice hotel with a friendly staff, but I would stay somewhere else for the money. Kind of bland in the room decor. Could use some color. Free breakfast is not included. It should be for the price of the room. Instead, you have to pay $10 per person for breakfast.

Gainesville, Georgia is the poultry capital of the country, but does that warrant paying $149 a night to stay in a mid-range hotel? Supply and demand, so maybe it does. The rooms were clean, with mini refrigerators and no views to speak of. If you have stayed at a HGI, this is standard. The service was friendly, staff was so helpful, but to charge for breakfast seemed out of character for the hotel. I haven't complaints about theorem in general, just nothing to rate it number one on my fav... Read more

This is a beautiful facility. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Very quiet, no traffic noise at all. I was underwhelmed with the attention to detail. Overflowing trash cans by the main entrance and the desk staff was adequate but not going any extra steps to make our visit anything special. Breakfast is not included and the buffet wasn't any better than free breakfasts offered at other hotels. We noticed too late that we could have ordered freshly cooked items but that was available. Stayed at the Gainesville Hilton Garden Inn this past weekend for one night while attending a Wedding in the area. Great location, waking distance to 3 or 4 good restaurants and stores. With the digital check in and picking a room online our actual check in time was about 2 minutes. The hotel is nice and clean with comfortable beds and quality towels and pillows. The fitness center is small but functional for this size hotel. Did not use the pool but it looked well maintained - it is a combo... Read more

We stayed here while we were in the Gainesville/Dahlonega are looking for a place to live. Moving to the area in July! The hotel was a very nice reprieve at the end of our hectic and hurried home hinting / viewing mission! The complimentary coffee, flavored water and cookies every afternoon was a great bonus! (Especially the lemon, oats & berry square cookies! They were the best!!

I stayed here for a wedding. Some of my other friends had rooms in this hotel as well. The hotel is clean and convenient. The location seemed safe. The one drawback is that the walls are extremely thin. I could literally hear the guest next door's phone ringing and a conversation. I also heard his alarm go off the next morning. I don't mean I heard a small sound. It seemed as though there was a hole in the wall or something wrong with the room. Almost as if there was only a room divider and not ... Read more

Very nice hotel, clean, well staffed and serviced. Slightly more expensive than I usually want but worth the extra cost. Only complaint was the bed was a little too soft for my taste (I sleep on a firm bed at home). Breakfast was very good, good value. I would stay at this hotel again.

Great accommodations, and friendly service. The handicap rooms are very large with plenty of floor space for a power wheelchair. For disabled guests who have to use a hoyer lift, there wasn't quite enough space for the lift's legs to go under the bed so I had to use a rollaway bed. For different lift models, it might have worked though, since there WAS clearance under...just not enough for mine. Overall, pleasant accommodations.

Very nice Hotel, maybe a little pricey for area of town. Staff was very nice and courteous. The rooms were clean and air conditioning worked well in a hot environment. Outside area was nice but could have been a little bigger as pool area was very crowded. staff did a great job monitoring the area as many younger children were there because of a Lacrosse tournament.

Nice physical appearance in lobby and room, but the room was noisy (maybe due to elevator and ice machine proximity). No free breakfast, WiFi never worked, and a drink at the bar was too costly. All in all, I thought it was overpriced.

Upon our arrival, everything was just right. The check- in was painless. The room was large and well appointed with a keurig, microwave and mini fridge. The beds were oh, so comfy. Son an I came to Georgia to tour UNG's campus. The few motels and hotels in Dahlonega with decent reviews were booked full. Most of the chain motels in Dahlonega did not rate well at all. We decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gainesville and drive the 30 minutes each day. Totally worth it. Hilton's reputation for quality did not disappoint.

Nice clean hotel, staff can't do enough for you. If you need it and ask for it they get it ! Shame the maids who did the room don't think the same. Breakfast is sufficient but not a lot of choice, decent but not exactly the high standards you expect from this chain. If it weren't for the staff behind reception and bar staff I would have given it a bare 1 ! Nice try, but need to educate the maids that if they take the used soap to leave another bar ! People like soap !

I am very shocked that what seemed to be such a great hotel by my initial experience turned out to be so hard to deal with when they caused damage to my property. Accidents happen and when they do business's have the chance to make it right and say "oop's we goofed but we want to take care of it and fix the problem" In this case I had to call back and still have not got anything done. Happy staff in all areas, always greeted with a smile and great service. The bed is why I mainly chose Hilton over Marriot was for comfort. The beds at the latter are too hard and I could not get any sleep. The area of the hotel was safe and secure. I did not feel that I was in danger or my vehicle could be burglarized. I felt that the breakfast was a bit pricey; we would have appreciated a complimentary breakfast bar, however the staff in the dinning room was very attentive. The room we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for us and we didn't sleep well due to that.
