Kind of hard to get to from the interstate, but you will find it. Good location for shopping and restaurants. Located up on a hill and is very quiet. You could tell the property is an older one and the carpets could use a good cleaning. My room was of usual size for a king room. The stand up shower is rounded and roomy. I was just grateful that they had a room available seeing as how there was some kind of "electronic music" festival in town for the weekend. The guy that checked me in was so goo... Read more

My family had an extended stay here. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms, hallways and breakfast area were clean and welcoming. The complimentary breakfasts were very basic, but kept fresh. Fantastic deal with a military discount.

Hotel was clean, room was nice. Loved the mattress! However, we were train side and my husband heard trains all night. I slept soundly, but should keep in mind the possibility. Also, they admit pets (for a fee), and we were glad we were on the other end of the hallway as we heard a little yapper on the way down the hall.

Upon arrival at this hotel, I had my doubts as the outside of this property is kind of dingy looking. Inside all is good and clean. The rooms are the newer remodeled Sleep Inn style. There is some bad & good points to know about. First, the bad... 1) The AC in my particular room worked but not great. I would hate to see what it would do on a 90 degree day. 2) The sinks have the horribly short Sleep Inn faucets that barely hang over the sink. You end up busting your knuckles just washing yo... We decided to stay in Douglasville after spending all day at Six Flags. We were completely exhausted, so we didn't spend too much time wandering around the place. However, the staff was extremely nice to us! It gave me a vibe of one of those family owned hotels. It was very quiet and homey. I would definitely suggest staying here if you're too exhausted from your trip at Six Flags and don't want to drive home! Also a great place to stay if you don't want to deal with all of the Atlanta traffic. ... Read more
