Customer service was below par. When addressed with a complaint nonchalant indignant attitude were displayed. Refused to answer calls from my room for the remaining evening hours. Lacks the true spirit of Hampton

First of all the hotel was under for innovation with none of the ice maker is working unless you want all the way down to the lobby. Completely inconvenient. There was a supreme lack of staff at any given time to assist in a problem. There is no security for your vehicles if you have to park in the back or the front for that matter as I was up all night watching my vehicle to make sure it was not damaged by the 2230 hoodlums hanging around the parking lot drinking doing drugs, throwing litter & ... The only options in Douglas, are this and a Holiday Inn Express. It is conveniently located to Douglas area based businesses for business travelers like myself. The hotel is currently under construction, so noise level is loud during the day starting at 8:30am.

No hot shower! Assigned a dirty room at 2:00am! So tired check in took forever then one of our two rooms had to go boxes in the slept in beds! Hotel in need of renovation! Not a normal Hampton experience!

Not what you'd expect value-wise for a member of the Hilton family of hotels, especially at the prices being charged. The hotel staff, although quite helpful, are dealing with what would appear to be upgrades that are not progressing at a pace that would be expected for a hotel charging over $100 a night for a stay. Granted, the other options in town are slim, but this is not a great value for travelers.

This was our second stay in a month. We really enjoyed our visit. Quiet environment, clean, and friendly employees. Great location for Ft. Benning, GA. It is located just off the base. I can highly recommend this motel.

Tub had mold. Air conditioner did not work. It did not cool to the set temperature. The carpet was dirty and needed cleaning. The bed was average. Breakfast was average. The parking lot was blocked with construction material.

What a mess. The hotel is under renovation and I stayed on the 3rd floor. I'm pretty sure that my room was the only one that wasn't under construction (see pictures) I've been here before and should have known better. They worked on the room next door to mine, busting out tile in the bathroom, until 8pm. Just what you want to hear after a long day. Nearly everywhere you look in the hotel is under construction. The doors in the hallway were all open and it was like I was staying in an abandoned ... Read more

Considering the facility was undergoing renovations it was not bad. I will be anxious to see it when all is completed. I understand our group will be back June 2017. We had a problem with the hair dryer, but one of us had one so we didn't bring it to the attention of the staff. I am hoping the weight room will have some free weights next ear as well. Refrigerator worked very well, keeping our items at a good temperature. We did not make use of the microwave his trip. I would hope that the carpet... Read more

Great that they are taking the steps to improve this hotel. It's been a long time coming. So thank you Hampton Inn. My wife and I always have a pleasant stay. I come for work and she comes with me, also it's a bonus for her, she gets to see her best friend. Win-win I say.

Super friendly and clean! The location was centrally located in the town. The rooms were very clean. Service was very friendly. Lobby was clean and attractive! Hotel room was decorated with much taste as well as the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and enjoyed maid service everyday to make beds and tidy up the room. Parking is adequate for visitors.

They were under remodeling construction but every one was gone at 5:00 and cleaned up. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was a little small but clean and great linens. The round table/desk is a problem with computers and papers, not enough surface area

Find another hotel. Service was not good, hotel was overbooked. I did not get the room with 2 beds as I requested when I booked. Was told there was nothing they could do except comp me $10. I got a roll out bed from 1950. Was not told the hotel was under construction.

The mattress was horrible. The bathroom had missing tiles and a patched hole under sink. My rate June 2015 was $89, this year June 2016 it was $129. What an increase? The lobby was renovated but not my room.

Property is being renovated however, we had no elevator service which was not listed. Also, make sure to get to the breakfast before the cleaning staff - we went to get food and they were out at 9:40 in the morning. However, we saw two of the cleaning staff with plates full of food and when we ask if we could get more eggs, sausage and fruit they said they were out. They also started taking away the muffins and tearing down at 10:00 although people were still eating.

Helpful staff and the property is in the process of updating. It will be nice but right now it is a mess. Check to see if renovations are completed. The parking lot did not feel secure due to the construction materials.

Worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. They gave us acessible room and the bathroom felt more like a jail cell set up. Night clerk was on her cell and we literally had to yell out to get her attention. Just not our typical Hampton Inn experience.

Staff was very very nice and room was very clean. We did not eat the continental breakfast, but it looked good. My only complaint is that the back door, which almost everyone had to use would not work, due to faulty card reader. I would probably try it one more time.

For a small hotel you can't find a more comfortable nights rest. I love the beds, the linens are always fresh and clean. The complimentary breakfast is very good with a nice variety of options to choose from.

The town of Douglas deserves much better. For many years the competition was limited and Hampton was superior. The remodeling process is underway, but at this time, it still is not up to par.The rooms reflect the Hampton style and level of comfort, but there was a very unpleasant odor that greeted you when you walked in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Douglas, GA. The personnel were so accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and the beds especially comfortable. The bath linens are large and soft. It is newly remodeled and very modern. I highly recommend it.

Filthy sums it up. And not just due to the remodel. The remodel itself isn't going to do much for the overall feel. I stayed in a remodeled room and it looked like a do it yourself job on a shoestring budget. I understand business and the significance of cost but from my vantage everything that you've spent is lost because it doesn't feel remodeled, it's not clean, and there are other options. Sorry for being so direct but I felt it important to let you know why I won't be staying at your hot... Read more

I won't stay in a place that's not courteous and clean, even though they were doing a remodel everything was great. The lady that was working breakfast was an excellent server and went way beyond the call of duty, very friendly and knew how to make a man feel very welcome.
