Stopped here on my way down to Florida from NC. It was close to the interstate, and was very clean and comfortable. Desk staff were very friendly. Bed slept well. Bathrooms were clean. Rooms were spacious. Well priced. Would stay here again!

We are big fans of Hampton Inns & their free breakfast when traveling. The room was 'ok'...clean, comfortable bed, roomy but AC had a smell. The breakfast was awful! Coffee was weak & filled with grinds. Eggs & potAtoes nasty. Even hard boiled egg was rubbery. Most condiments were empty or close to empty. There were a few of stray cats by the side door, which was very up setting, when you arrives at hotel entrance not good for customers.There were Garbage dumpsters in the area too, and my spouse is allergic to cats and that was not good and especially for business.

This Hampton Inn is dated and needs to be updated. But...it was clean. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was good for a last minute stop over on 95.

Great staff and very clean. Choice of restaurants in the immediate area left a little to be desired. Except for this we were very satisfied and will stay here again when in the area. Easy access from I95 made this one of the main reasons for our stay.

Room 215 had plenty of space and the bed was at a great height for someone who uses a combination of a wheelchair and walker to get around. I was extremely disappointed though to see that the shower had a simple stool with no back as the sitting location in the roll-in shower. We have stayed at this hotel before and have been pleased with not only the facility itself but the location. Much to our delight this hotel has been renovated and the lobby and guest rooms have been redecorated. The personnel were friendly and the common areas were attractive and clean.

Rooms need updates, front desk staff needs training. Good location near I-95, clean rooms. Breakfast did not offer any meat! Vegetarian breakfast for all! Couldn't check out by phone, no one picked it up at the front desk.

While the room was kept up well, because housekeeping actually takes pride in their work....the front desk staff is less than inviting. The breakfast was horrendous. We spent two nights here and all we can do is thank housekeeping that at least our room was nice and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately, a hotel stay is more than the room.

I stayed at this hotel on my way from Sarasota, FL to Charlotte, NC as it was halfway and it showed it being across from a Premium Outlets. When I got off the highway, I saw that the outlet center was gone....no stores remain there. There is construction going on in front of the hotel and there is absolutely nothing around there!

The room was lit up like daylight from the 9 spotlights on our side of the hotel and the curtains would not block out lights. When you walked out side door the area behind soda machines was nasty dirty.

I visit Darien on a regular basis. This is the best hotel around. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was very good food and had a good nights sleep. The breakfast has so many selections to choose from. I plan to stay here again.

Had to find somewhere to get out of the recent storm while going through GA. The hotel was clean, staff very nice, and all in all a pleasant experience. I would certainly stay there again while traveling.

The oat meal was not done, the sausage was dried out, and the fruit was old. Very disappointed. I was traveling with my husband and a service dog. The outside property had ant mounds. All around. Also roaches were around the outside doors. Needs extermination really bad, inside and out.

I am brand loyal to Hilton and this is by far one of the worst in the Hilton family of hotels that I have stayed out. They appear to be understaffed and the staff there are under trained. Staff are unable to work the check-in /check-out functions on the system, unable to make decisions such as extending a stay, and just not available! They are also cheap on amenities (no hair conditioner), ACs that don't fully cool the room, and don't offer Hilton Gold/Diamond members their benefit. Pass this ho... Read more

This was a rest stop between NC and FL. The nearby outlet mall is closed, so there is not much to do nearby. There is construction in front due to a new bridge over I95, but it looks like that is almost done, or at least about to move to the opposite side of the road from the Hampton. Room generally OK. Arrived to a room with A/C just turned on, high humidity. Did start to dry out before sleeping. Refrigerator running but warm(just turned on as well?). Warm shower in morning, but not hot. Breakfast was poorly serviced, and A/C in dining room was not working. Pancake batter was thin as milk, resulting in wet-middle cake not worth eating. Limited fare available, grabbed a banana to go. Not ou8r best Hampton stay. Service at desk was excellent,

Could use a little tlc. A/C wasn't the greatest. Other than that, it was a decent stay with a friendly staff. The continental breakfast was good, with a decent variety of fresh foods. The ease of access from the highway was nice too.

Not what I'm use to in a Hampton Inn. The bathroom vent was GROSS. No fan in the bathroom . They clean the sheets in washer next to the office. Breakfast not what you usually get at a Hampton Inn. I would not stay here again.

Check in service was poor an breakfast was not as good as many other places I stayed. When I ask if there was any more food coming out it seem the service personnel was more interested in reading her newspaper than tending to the breakfast area.In fact I just left as most items were gone.

We were really worried after reading all the reviews. We tried to actually cancel and could not because we got a great internet special. Needless to say we are here and everything has been good. About the only thing that could be done is a remodel but even with that it is not a bad hotel. The staff have been great the rooms are clean the food is good and tge pool does look fine. We stopped here on our way to Florida for a cruise. This Hampton Inn is okay for a Hampton Inn, but not exceptional. The property was clean and well lit, but the common areas are small. We found the breakfast here to be less than great. Other Hampton Inn's have always wowed us, but not this one. The service in the breakfast area was incdredibly slow. This location has a very bad breakfast compared to other Hampton Inns. This is the second time I have stayed here in a week and both times the breakfast was terrible. When it was brought to the attention of the manager there was nothing done to resolve the issue.

Customer Service terrible. Front desk person, Kim very RUDE. When you call down to ask a question you get "what" in a harsh tone or nothing. When running over checking out by a few minutes, Kim calls the room to ask "what's the problem?" , Not good morning, is there something we can help you with to get you on your way? Breakfast bar practically empty by 9:15 on Sunday morning.

We were in town for one night visiting my son. The room was spotless,my wife and daughter enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The local food and the hotel made we wish we stayed longer.

Simply a great little hotel. Great facility and easy access to the freeway. I visited St. Simon and found that this was a great location. I enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The best was the outstanding service from the associates. At every turn they were simply wonderful people and I was so pleased with my experience.

This hotel pales in comparison to other Hampton properties. Our pillows smelled like a cat had urinated on them. The breakfast selections were not very appetizing and some food was cold. We have stayed in several Hampton's along the way this week and this one was not what I would have expected from a Hampton Inn.Great rate but lacking in everything else.

everything on our family stay was good except for the working condition of the bathroom sink which was leaking and water was falling down the drain pipe to the floor. Overall condition of the bathroom was in a bit of bad shape. Other than that inconvenience, everything else was good.

I love staying at Hampton Inns because the people are always friendly and the rooms are always clean. I was disappointed with this Hampton Inn. When I was checking in, the front desk clerk acted like he was doing me a favor just by giving me a room and had an attitude about him. Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous, beds were great and clean rooms, will stay again. Location was right of the highway easy access and safe location. Parking was a little busy and not a lot of parking areas. There were many trailers in the parking causing problems with parking.

but the worse was the total lack of responsiveness by both Hilton the corporate owner and the actual hotel itself. Got bitten night of May 9th, did not realize it until the next morning by which time we were long gone. Not the best Hampton I ever stayed at but very good for the price. There was not much around, but we had a target destination and this was close and convenient. If you are looking to shop the mall across the street is abandoned right now and there are only a couple of choices for restaurants. All in all it served our purposes and we have little to complain about. By the way the two restaurants, Skippers and B & J's steak and fish were excellent.

First I was told there were no rooms available. So I decided to check on my Hilton App on my iPhone to find I could make a reservation. So I did. I was given Room #123. Nothing special about this property or it's location. It's clean, orderly and the staff are attentive. A few fast food outlets close by...but, that's it. TV use Direct TV operating system. The breakfast is similar to other Hampton Inns.

Clean but dull. Towels were soft but that is the only good comment. It was right off Interested 95 so that made it very convenient. We checked in after dinner and left in the morning so we did not check out the area.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn-Darien GA. Easy access from the highway. The staff members were experience, efficient and pleasant. Their appearance was clean and neat. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything worked. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Every item was fresh, good and the food station was well maintain. Coffee and tea is available all day. Excellent place for family.

I frequently stay at HI's when working, so I didn't hesitate to stop at this one during a quick road trip. The check in clerk did not know how to use the computer. The room smelled like smoke, and the TV did not work. Checked in close to midnight, so we were too tired to ask for a different room. Needed to TV to drown out the noise of the person talking across the hall. The parking lot was almost empty, so there were plenty of rooms.

We were driving an 36' RV north on I-95 to deliver it from Florida to Maryland for a friend of ours. Travel happened to coincide with Hurricane Hermine's travel north, too. We found ample parking for our rig and enjoyed a quiet night in the hotel. Great welcoming staff and nice, clean rooms.

Don't bother stopping here. Hotel smells like MOld and Mildew. Carpets are Filthy, floors are equally as bad. Kitchen off of the Breakfast area is scary! Food splattered on the refrigerator, starting to grow all over the appliance. Black mold in the bathroom shower.

This hotel is very outdated! The room carpets seems dirty,there waa a very large stain on the chair on room, pillows had a smell of Body oder, there were not any post its like most hamptonsstating the lienens ate cleaned. If you headed south..go 10 m ore mins to brunswick hampton, if north head to Richmond hill perhaps you will have better luck.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. It wasn't the worst hotel stay that I've ever had, but it surely was the worst experience that I've had with Hampton. So my rating of poor may be in comparison to other Hamptons - but I usually stay with Hampton so it's hard to make a more standard comparison. Check in was ok. Nice hotel for the price. They only fell short on the breakfast which was not up to Hampton Inn standards. We would stay there again. Found a great restaurant "Skipper's Fish Company" which was about 5 miles away. Great food at a reasonable price.

Room was not good. The air conditioning barely worked. My bed linens were actually damp. I wore socks and they were filthy afer walking on the carpet. My friend swears her feet were bitten by fleas. The bathtub had loose hairs on the side and front walls. Just an all over bad experience....

Housekeeping never replaced towels or emptied trash. Had to wait 15 - 20 minutes for free continental breakfast (Powered eggs). They were out of most things on the buffet and very slow to replace items.

The area is pretty depressed but still has some good local restaurants. Hotel was average in accommodations but way below for quality of breakfast. Local outlet closed sos not much traffic. Sad food quality and selection for breakfast.

The hotel met the usual standards of this brand. It appears newer than not. There is a quirk or two in the parking lot. You have to boot the luggage carrier up a curb. Maybe they will put in curb cuts later. The staff was pleasant and made a great dinner suggestion. I would stay in this lovely town again. It is a gem from our limited visit. We were traveling to Florida and found this hotel along the way. It was a very pleasant place for us to stay. They had an outdoor pool which had very comfortable warmish water considering it was early October. We hope to check out the hotel another time and further explore the area.

We stayed here during the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Matthew. The staff was very kind and understanding and helpful. the hotel was clean. The breakfasts were good and plenteous. The situation was stressful but the stay here was pleasant under the circumstances.

I stayed at this same hotel July, 2016 and feel the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff has declined since then. The man working the desk during my check-in had a baggy shirt on that did not have a Hilton logo & I wondered if he was another traveler! He did not welcome me. Stayed one night while passing through town, arrived after dark. The area did not feel particularly safe to walk around at night, but the hotel was well kept and the room appeared clean. This was a simple, no frills room, but linen was weathered and needed replacing. We discovered the following morning we'd both been bitten multiple times. Yuck

Hotel needs updated. No microwave in room. Upon checking in as a hilton gold member was given an outdated package of cookies. Went to heat coffee in microwave in the serving area used for breakfast and found it filthy. When I told the girls at the desk apparently no one went to check or clean it, as at 6:15 the following morning it was still filthy. Who wants to eat breakfast there? We stayed here while traveling south on I-95. This Hampton was nice, our room was nice and clean with comfortable. Breakfast wasn't as good as I have seen from other Hamptons. The location is easy access to the interstate, although, I found that there wasn't enough parking, or they had been taken by other guests parking their trailers in those parking spots, which does seem a little annoying. Hotel was old. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was very slow. Hotel was near I-95. I would not stay at this hotel in the future. Staff was friendly at check in and check out and for breakfast.

My family stayed here as a stopping point on our drive to Disney. It's pretty old, when we sat down on the couch I could smell the dust. In the bathroom the shower is starting to flake apart. Breakfast was the bare essentials, cereal, breads, waffles, and scrambled eggs. Don't plan to stop here again on our way to Florida.

My church group made reservations here as we were passing through on our way to Fl. We had confirmed reservations for 12 rooms. The night we arrived we found out they had given away two of our rooms. They "graciously" sent the 4ppl of those two rooms to a hotel next door. We also had reservations with them for our return trip going back home and they called and said they were releasing our confirmed reservations for then as well. Corporate will be called.

This hotel sold two of my twelve rooms that was reserved with a credit card. In addition they sold the reservations on my return trip. The manager was not very helpful nor did she act as if she cared or not. I will NEVER recommend this particular location to anyone.

very comfortable clean room. we like the breakfast so we can last minute things before checking out. well lit parking lot. a few places to eat if you have driven all day and do not want to get back in your car. we have stayed at this location multiply times.
