Headed north on I-75, this was a great stop. North of Atlanta so avoided Monday morning rush hour. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Friendly staff and Hampton quality. Will use this location again on our travels to Florida and back! Appeared to be a hotel that was taken over by Hampton--not the usual design--outside room access. Room was a bit small but still very comfortable. Only complaint was bathroom light was outside the door, so you couldn't avoid shining the light in your par... Read more

We are a family if 5 and stayed in a king room with pullout couch. Room was a little small with the couch pulled out, but we were only there to sleep anyway. Room was very clean and the kids kept busy with the cable and wifi.

Stayed 1 night 13 May 16, 2016, room was very clean and good size. The breakfast bar had a good assortment of items. I stayed on the 3rd floor and had some interstate noise as it was nearby. The hotel has a outdoor pool that was very clean and maintained. A lot of restaurants are nearby.

The high state and local taxes make this a poor value. Georgia and Dalton are not a tourist friendly state. The Harley Davidson store next door is very noisy with the continual engine noise. The staff and facility are at Hampton standards.

Close to freeway exit, Service Station, and Restaurants. We called ahead for our reservation which was helpful. Staff helped us find our room and unload suitcases, we were very tired. I wish I could remember the name of the fella who helped us that evening.

Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Location is great too. I always stay here when I come visit family and friends. The hotel is very clean and well kept. It was a very easy check in too! The front desk staff is great.

To close to the Interstate to be quiet, or at least our end. I don't know if it was any quieter at the farthest end since the strip mall across the street was noticeably loud too. Also, some of the birds that are nesting near or under the lights don't know when to sleep. My mom complained and we were compensated, but I just want give a word of warning.

Very clean and quiet close to the interstate and as well restaurants and some shopping...the only downside is all the rooms are outside entrance but not bad access to them. The area is well lit and very secure....staff was ultra friendly and help

This property was what is expected for a comfortable stay. The staff was great. Slightly over priced, but not terribly out of line for other properties in the area. This Hampton Inn is like most or above average.

We loved this hotel in Dalton, Ga. In addition to being conveniently located next to the interstate, it was very clean, the food was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again my next time n the Dalton area.

Staff was friendly and there was no complaint with any aspect of our stay. The room was very clean and we were brought a nice rollaway for one of our kids. We didn't use the pool, but it was an outdoor pool and looked very nice.

Room quality, decent breakfast, and price all worth it. Checked in online, but only one person at desk for several people. Second person came out after 10 minutes and played on computer for 3 minutes before helping. So much for pre-check.

Kids were outside playing basketball all night. Rooms were humid. Dehumidifier was long. They do supply earplugs so they know there are noise issues. It is located around several good places to eat! Nice staff.

We checked in around 8 and were told the basketball courts were closed to the night, which is understandable and nice amenity to have, the pool was great too. Located near some shopping and Cracker Barrel which is where we walked for dinner. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable and quiet!

This is a welcome place to stay after a long day on the road. Good restaurants and a Harley Dealer within a short walk. Easy on/off I-75. Our favorite Hampton for the price charged and they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Outdoor pool in season, exercise room, etc. Just what we like for a relaxing stay.

this must be one of the last motel style hotel in the Hampton chain. Doors open to the outside. The rooms were damp all the time even though the A/C was on. My papers were damp and limp when we left. the breakfast was limited and not many hot items. Would not recommend staying there

Nicely appointed exterior and lobby. Desk clerk was not very accomodating, when asked to look up my Hilton number. Need to invest in new mattresses and pillows. Never again in Dalton, Georgia. Makes me quite leery about staying at Hampton Inns in the future.

Sorry to say this hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment, the rooms are old and dirty, beds are lumpy and the noise from the freeway 100 yards away is non stop. Stopped over late at night and had to pay over $140 for a Hampton, check in was good but it went downhill from there.

The pricing does not the reflect the high level of accommodations rooms and service. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very competent and accommodating. In the past [before the Hilton factor] the Prices for Hampton were higher than other chains by 30 to 40 %. Now they are close to the other chains but way more value and quality.

We stayed one night on our way from MO to FL. I always like to call on our way in to verify/confirm reservations. It took multiple calls because their system was down. We almost went to another hotel, but finally got someone on the phone that told me if I had a reservation# there would be a room. Check-in was very slow and unorganized but again they had a system failure due to power outage. We booked on Trip Advisor through Booking.com. When we got there, we were told they were sold out and did not have our reservation. Since we had proof we booked and paid for a room, we were accommodated with a room. The room was very nice and clean. I do not like this style of room with entrances outside. People were walking past our room and you could hear every sound they made. Almost sounded like a window was open. Probably would not return. Ok for a night while traveling.

The staff was wonderful, and the room was fine. I was really surprised that this was not the normal inside facing rooms. The extra level of security ( which could be an illusion) of rooms that face inside hallways is important. I don't know how I missed this in booking. The relatively high price was not a real value.

I would say this used to be another brand of hotel. Hampton doesn't usually have the doors to the rooms opening to the outside. I do not really like this. I feel someone could be watching us as we come and go. The room was very clean and quiet. I like that the A/C has the feature of the fan running all the time, which keeps outside noise out. The breakfast was the usual for a Hampton. The area seems a little run down across the street.

Last minute stay during vacation travel. Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom VERY small, and for some reason, the stool was VERY short. As we are both over 6' tall, that was different. If you have any mobility issues, you may want to ask for an ADA room with a taller stool. The AC made noise all night long and kept us awake.
