The building and the room itself were visibly very old. The sheetrock above the shower was separating. My bed (in room 118) appeared to be made of a wood frame and was very unstable. It made a loud noise with every little movement. There were gnats (small flies) everywhere in the room. Could be because of it's proximity to the wood line or the swimming pool.

This hotel does not meet my expectations for a Hampton. I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness and the quality of comfort. THe air conditioner provided a resonating vibration that was difficult to sleep through.

Great location. It is not as clean and fresh as other Hampton's but it is good for price. The staff was extremely helpful. We called and were able to check in early. Staff helped us get luggage to room. Staff made us fresh hot water on request.

Ok service and cleanliness. I was so tired I really didn't care about having to wait for the guy to get off of the phone, when in the room, I was just glad I brought my own blankets and pillows! The covers on the bed were dirty!

The name Hampton Innonyhis hotel is misleading. This hotel does not live up to Hampton Inn standards. Bed lumpy. Room had strong smell of cleaning fluid and mold. No elevator. Handrail tyo walk upstairs was coming off the walll.

Clean sleep, convenient location, unfriendly night staff. I used points but still deserved a friendly welcome, or "Thanks for being an Honors member. No eye contact and only a grunt. Morning check-out was friendlier.

We were in town for one night, stayed at this location for easy access to interstate. The staff was friendly and room was fine. Prefer inside entrance instead of exterior and there was no elevator, I was traveling with elderly parents which posed a bit of a problem, we were on the 2nd floor, no rooms available on the 1st floor together (we had two rooms)

Convenient location. Easy access to the things we wanted. But, there are other hotels close by and will try one of them the next time. Ice machine out of order. Can not do steps carrying what we needed they were a little put out when we asked to be switched to a 1st floor room.

Decent location (close to highway access, airport, restaurants, shopping). However next to an outdoor dog kennel across the street in which was constant barking, but tolerable if not there much. My bathroom had mold in it as well as spotted roaches daily. Staff ignored people (except manager). Rooms are decent size, breakfast was average as most. My room was not ready by 3pm as indicated.

The staff of the Hampton Airport are the friendliest and nicest people you can meet. But the hotel itself is old and run down. The carpets are filthy. The room we stayed in had bugs in the bathroom and tub, no cold water in the sink, the AC leaking the condensation back into the room, soaking the floor and leaving everything damp, the frig didn't freeze our ice packs, We suspect mold is beginning to grow or already established as well.

I'm amazed Hampton Inn claims this place. It needs a good cleaning..inside and out. Corridors and stairs were dirty. Our room was stuffy, poorly lit and stale smelling. I would never have booked this place had I known guest rooms are only accessed via an outside corridor. I felt vert unsafe. There was a big gap at the bottom of the door so we stuffed a towel into to keep the bugs out. I could go on and on but by now you get the picture.

Hotel is very outdated. Requested a non-smoking room, but they placed me in a smoking room and would not change rooms even thought there were plenty of unoccupied non-smoking rooms. Poorly lit area and wet floor caused me to fall and get injured. Management never asked if I was ok, and then housekeeping did not even make up my room

Most Hampton Inns are similar so this one was an unpleasant entrance to our room from the inside. Was the hotel purchased from another hotel chain and made into a Hampton Inn? The night clerk was not very welcoming...he must have had a bad day...I killed a roach in our bathroom...overall not a good experience except for the morning clerk who was very nice and helpful...also the breakfast was good.

Though the room was clean there was a nasty smell coming from the fridge. The outside of the building as well as the stairs were nasty and not up to the Hampton Inn standards that I am accustomed to. There was no cookies and fruit flavored water available in the lobby as there often is with other Hampton Inns I have stayed at. If you are looking for an elevator don't stay at this particular hotel as there are only stairs.

We chose this hotel because it was very conveniently located for our visit. The rooms are a little dated, but ours was very clean and comfortable. And the bathroom was very clean, as well. Check-in was quick and easy, and all of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the free breakfast. The waffles are always my daughter's favorite, and I like that there were eggs, cheese and ham, in addition to the breads, muffins and fruit.

Terrific value in Columbus. This hotel is literally just off Hwy 185 (with easy on/off) by the airport and only 11-13 minutes from Ft. Benning. Plenty of newer shopping centers and restaurants, many within walking distance. Large pool and deck area enjoyed by the patrons and especially my grandson and I. For a hotel opened in 1997, it is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, all at 1/3 less than adjacent hotels. A real gem!

Hamptons are great, but not this one. Too old and things just don't work. A/C ran at the same temp and speed no matter what adjustments you make. Room was so small I thought I was in a Motel 6. Entry to room is from the outside like an old Holiday Inn. The noise from the outside is not good. It also took me quite a while to figure out the room numbering so I could locate my room.

This hotel is in a good location but the staff does not go out of their way to help in any way. Rooms are not extremely clean but for a one night business trip stay - it will do. Complimentary breakfast was average. Basic breakfast foods.

I was very pleased with the service I received from the front desk staff upon checking in and at check out. Their customer service was impeccable. The cleaning staff was very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast could have had a more choices of meats but overall it was satisfying.

This Hampton is in a great location fot travelers stopping on the way to FL or the Gulf area. Just needs updating. Carpet in our room was pretty stained, and the shower was very difficult to turn on or off. (Had my mother been traveling with us she would not have had the strength to turn the knob.) Also, most of the chairs by the pool were broken and out of service. The staff at the hotel are all helpful and friendly, and there are several great restaurants within walking distance.

This Hampton should be removed as a Hilton Family brand! I stayed in room 147 and utilized 30,000 points for the absolute WORST Hilton brand room that I have every stayed in or seen. It is at best a third-rate "no-tell motel." The bathroom had mildew on the ceiling and around the tub with a strong mildew odor. This hotel is absolutely perfect EXCEPT for the awful Internet! If you want any decent connection speed be prepared to shell out money for it! Other than that it was enjoyable. Staff is friendly! Pool is clean and great! It is located next to a great shopping center for food and shopping! There is even a children's play yard right across the street! I will definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a place to stay near the Hughton Clinic in Columbs, Georgia, the Hampton Inn is a good choice. It is a decent hotel with a free breakfast that begins serving at 6 am. They even have a pool if you want to relax in the afternoon.

We were trying to stay at better hotels on this trip, but this one did not fill the bill. First of all, the desk clerk sent us to a dirty room. Although we had trouble with our AC on last night, management reassigned our room and it was fixed in the morning. The free breakfast was great with make your own waffles and always available fruit and coffee. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

This hotel is not what one expects from most Hampton Inns, however, the cost should provide that indication. The rooms are all have direct access from outside, rather than central internal hallways. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Hampton Inn or any hotel. I arrived on Friday after 4pm, and my room wasn't ready. My room was infested with ants, crawling all over the ceiling, the front door etc. There is a lot more that I can write but the text is at a minimum.

The Hamptons I usually stay at are very nice and clean. This one had several roaches in the bathroom, vanity area and one crawled on me in the bed! Not acceptable. The room was not serviced during the day. the excuse was, housekeeping could not get her key to work so she waited until we returned to the room at 8:00 pm. We did not let her in the room as we were ready to relax and retire for the evening.

The staff was not very polite to customers on the phone, which steered me away from wanting to stay there. We slept and had business to take care of the next morning, which had us gone most of the day. When we returned we tried to get comfortable and go to sleep. We couldn't because there were roaches. Not water bugs. Roaches. The place needs to be exterminated. The very least of expectations from a Hampton property, let alone a Hilton.

We have been to many Hampton Hotels but this one here located near the Airport in Columbus GA was like living in Motel. The welcome from the reception desk unwelcome and rude. This staff that worked on 6 October 2016 around 8:00 pm was rude and very unprofessional. When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was not clean. (Room 210). The TV screen and mirrors were streaked and had not been cleaned. The bathroom was not clean. This is an older Hampton inn that has outside access to the rooms. Their rates are very good compared to other Hampton Inns in the area. I have stayed here several times and have not had any security problems. There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance and a shopping center next door and another across the street. Rooms are standard Hampton Inn set up. Breakfast is the standard with different eggs and meat selection daily. The staff is what sets this hotel apart, they are wonderful!

The room was okay. There were a few cobwebs by the door. The bed was ok. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. I used my Hilton points for the room. The hotel was secluded and was near restaurants within walking distance.

Hearing staff talk about bed bugs is gross! The room I stayed in the door did not have proper sealing, so bugs were coming in.Lobby was however updated, rooms are not. Old and dirty feeling. Night staff need to appear a little more friendly. The person who checked us out was really nice.

This is a standard Hampton Inn hotel, except the doors open to the outside, not an interior hallway. Great for a quick overnight stop on the way to the gulf coast. I made sure to get a first floor room so I could back right up the door to unload bags right at the room.

Stay here only if you like the Motel 6 atmosphere, was totally dissatisfied being this is a Hampton Hotel. If room is on the 2nd floor be prepared to drag luggage up the stairs. Room had slight odor and bed is hard and uncomfortable. And I expected cookies at check-in but NO cookies, instead a bag of animal crackers in the room. Definitely would NEVER stay at this location again.

Hotel is outside access. Has a kennel next door on left side so if you don't want to hear barking stay on the right. Room need to be updated. Stood at the check in counter was not acknowledge by staff doing clean up in the eating area. When I rang to bell on the counter the staff then said I will be there in a moment. Computer access is good. The location is good if you want to near most of the north end of Columbus by most local dining.

The front desk staff was courteous upon check in. The breakfast was so-so. The room had a damp odor. There were empty soda bottles under the bed. The room rate was good for the quality of the hotel. I only had an issue with the cooling system, as it wasn't the greatest. My check-in was easy and I rested well. I wish that I would've called guest services, but I was too tired to do anything, but go to sleep. Oh, and no one mentioned that there was continental breakfast when I checked in, so I missed it.

I was met by a lady behind the counter wearing a hoodie and stained paints. As I approached the room, I could smell the smoke from outside the room. Had to drive to continental breakfast due to hotel layout, and quickly left due to quality - I chose McDonalds instead. As I tried to check out, I had to ring bell four times before the breakfast lady finally found a counter worker. I will not return - ever!

It's an older hotel. Outside entry. There is no elevator to the second floor. Breakfast is very good , they have brewed coffee, a big plus for me. The internet is a little aggravating each day you have to put in your room number . But you never know when it going to ask for it. You'll be right in the middle of emailing and you notice it's not going out. It's because you have to log in again.

Without a doubt, the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. Old motel style, very little in terms of upgrades. The traditional Hampton Inn amenities were just window dressing. I stayed at this hotel with my family. The rooms were very outdated with old furniture.I also arrived with a spider on pillow and a bug on my bed.I called the front desk and they didn't seem surprised and never apologized.The room was average size with small bathrooms.They did have a good variety of breakfast options and it's close to a lot of stores.This hotel is a good budget hotel but you get what you pay for.

I was in Columbus for a last mibut business trip and this was the only Hilton chain hotel available. My main issue with this hotel is that it was an outside facing hotel with public access to hotel stairs and doors. As a single traveler I did not feel especially secure staying in this location and I would probably not stay at this location again for that reason. Otherwise the hotel was clean and the staffer were friendly.

Wasn't able to connect to the Wi-Fi not one time throughout my whole trip, even with staff assistance. Shower drain was broken and also would not drain correctly. The slow drainage caused white materials to come back up out of the drain while showering. Rust on bathroom fixtures, was expecting a lot better for it to be a Hampton near an airport.

I do not do motels!! It's a supposed rentavated motel turned Hampton. It was horrible. Only stayed 1 night when I was supposed to stay at least 2. The beds felt like college bunk beds and the front desk staff was just "nice" nothing special

Hotel staff is friendly and clean rooms. The staff solved my issues quickly. Television kept losing signal so they gave me another room. Breakfast is more on the continental side. Sink in bathroom area clogged so make sure to check that.

This hotel is a remodel, we liked to grab our bags and walk in right where we parked. Still needs some more done to clean up the look in the baths. It's on an off street so know where your going or you could be looking for it awhile.

this was the worst Hampton Inn i have ever stayed at! the property was in major disrepair, unsafe security of premises, the rooms were so dirty i did not want sit on the furniture or take my shoes off!
