The hotel's outer appearance is not appealing. It looks like an old abandoned governmental building or public housing complex. The general area of the hotel is dark, gloomy and not inviting. In the bar area, the cloth covered chairs appeared to be old and badly worn. I couldn't believe how badly stained the carpet was on the floor where I stayed. The carpet had huge dark stains throughout along with debris. The walls were badly stained. The only positive attribute of this hotel is the staff are... Read more

enjoyed a great stay at the Westin Atlanta which is very close to airport. Drove 2.5 hours to Augusta Georgia but it easier than waiting for any connections and super easy drive. The hotel was great with a decent gym. Very friendly staff.

From the receptionist checking us in to the shuttle bus driver, the staff working at this Westin were all very friendly. Our room had new carpeting so it felt good. Loved the Starbucks station in the room. We dined in the restaurant and were not disappointed. Would definitely stay again if we have to stay near the airport in Atlanta. One of the most positive "airport hotel" experience.

The Westin is a $10 taxi ride from the airport. The building itself has some age on it but it was well maintained. The style is a bit off putting. My check in was quick and the staff was knowledgeable. I get to my room and was surprised by the spaciousness. large sitting area that you could hold a meeting with 5 attendees with ease. Tech wise the tv's are a few generations old, but they do provide a nice aux panel that includes hdmi and rgb so you could do a presentation or watch a movie from yo... Read more

The Westin Atlanta airport property was host to our company meeting. Overall they did and awesome job from early arrival to meals and departure. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, rooms were great and the food was excellent. They were most gracious allowing us to check in at 8 am and handled baggage storage and transportation for the entire group with little to no issue. I have been in hospitality personally for 30 years and they did it right.

We stayed there on April 8 and 9 2016. I was not surprised by the service we received. First, our check in...Torrey Thomas was excellent, professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to get us a room we would feel very welcomed. And we did. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and we had a great view from the airport (it was a supper plus, as I love seeing the planes coming and going, without the loud noises). The mattress was very comfortable. What is the brand and model Westin? We even ... Read more

When I asked about places to go and Atlanta night life, another front desk staff named Torrey was eager to step in and even went as far as to write down popular places to go on a Wednesday. The hotel was ok. Very spacious but I did notice mildew/mold in the entrance way from parking lot that went below road to inside hotel lobby. Once I checked in and went to my room, the door was opened. The room had a distinct smell but I did go to the local Walmart and get Febreeze and cleaning supplies. They offered a new room but I had a package coming in and stayed in that room as it was close to elevator.

The first thing I noticed was how dirty the hallway was on the way to my room. After checking in I noticed gross, brown sticky spots on bathroom floor. I noticed them late so I just threw down towels and left my shoes on as much as possible. I figured if what I can see is gross, what is on the carpet that I can't see? Would not choose to stay here again.

Back to the Westin Atlanta Airport again, and again sadly less than impressed. I stayed at the hotel for eight days this time while working on a project - I totally understand mine was a long stay at an airport hotel that I'm sure count on 'fly in - fly out' business. This is hotel is LONG overdue for a capital injection from Westin - threading carpet, stained furniture, dated bathrooms and a decidedly 'unheavenly' bed (at least in the room I was in) are not what I'm used to from a Westin. Hotel is super old and rundown and looks nothing like the photo. Room is small with popcorn ceiling and comfort inn kind of amenity. The only thing smells and looks like Westin standard is the soap and bed :) hence the three star review. Other than that, this is basically a La Quinta or Comfort Inn.

I generally likes Westin hotels. We recently stayed at the Westin Atlanta Airport before a very early morning flight, and I must say I was disappointed. My flight was cancelled so I needed a place to stay near the airport. According to AAA, this Westin was rated with 4 stars. Upon arrival, I was skeptical of its rating. The good: has free airport transportation, the menu and taste of the food (restaurant and room service) was outstanding, friendly staff. The bad: the hotel was shabby, outdated and lacked room amenities.

The gym is ok, not anything special. Pool is not special. Employees are wonderful. Airport shuttle runs on time with little drama. All in all, the Westin Atlanta airport is adequate f... Read more

I spent the night at this Westin near th eairport as I had an early flight, and was pleasantly surprised with my large room (couch included). While the bed was comfortable, the HVAC was a little too loud. The airport also has a shuttle to the airport which is very convenient. I enjoyed the usual Westin amenities of coffee maker and water.

This is an airport hotel near an airport, not a city centre. It has genuinely good service, comfy rooms - kind of what you'd want from an airport hotel (which is why I gave 4 stars). It's not cool, nor near the city centre, nor is breakfast cheap. If you want an airport hotel, stay here (it even has a shuttle) but if you want to go to downtown, stay near downtown.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days as part of the Ignite conference. Since my company paid for the room cost I wont comment on value based on price. The hotel is a small distance from Atlanta airport and there are shuttles that run between the two locations about every 15-20 mins or so. Shuttle service is shared with the Marriott hotel next door. Being an airport hotel, the proximity to the airport is a plus...if you want to explore Atlanta, I would suggest taking the shuttle to the airport and u... Read more

The Westin Atlanta Airport is super close to the airport, maybe less than a 10 minute drive that is its best quality. Maybe its second best is the price. The rooms are old but clean and standard Westin Hotel, nothing exciting but nice. The restaurant isn't bad but isn't great. Good service though. It works if you want to be near the airport and get in or out of Atlanta quickly.

We were put up here overnight as a comp for Delta airline's incompetence. They desk staff was very stiff and uncaring. When we walked into the room, it smelled like stale, wet dish rag. The restaurant food was okay, but again, the staff was not so friendly. Back in the room, only one soap for sink and tub! Very average!

I have stayed in many hotels, including airport properties. The front office staff, although very nice, had no training in the the Westin brand standards or really training period. They gave me my room key and that was it. Didn't tell me where my room was or where anything in the hotel. I made a green choice, I had dogs with me so I didn't want the knock on the door every day so my dogs would not bark and bother other guests. 5 out of the 5 days they knocked... again I don't blame the staff, I ... I stayed at the Westin-Atlanta Airport recently and, I have to say all of the staff I encountered were professional, warm/friendly and knowledgeable. The shuttle drivers were friendly and professional and made timely, consistent pickups that kept me on my work schedule. The lobby is beautiful and had several restaurant choices from American fare to Southern and both had friendly staff and delicious food. My room was beautiful and spacious (King Suite) which made relaxing after work each day ... Read more

I had to stay here for a seminar for work. The location to the airport is perfect. The room itself is nice. The beds are super comfy, great pillows. The housekeeping was not so great. They didn't clean the bathroom, just replaced my towel, didn't empty out the trash. I had dinner at the restaurant, not impressed at all. I ordered bbq brisket and received thin, extremely well done strips of meat. It was awful. Mashed potatoes were so salty i couldn't eat them. Very disappointed. Unless you... Read more

It's always a pleasure to stay at a Westin, and this one at the ATL airport is no exception. The modernity of the rooms, core areas, and fitness areas just feels so fresh and clean. The glass topped "desk" is about twice as big as most other hotels so lots of room to eat and work, and so clean! I had room service, and the actual order was about 60% correct...tasty, but they brought me medium steak instead of medium rare, sweet tea instead of unsweetened; mashed potatoes were tasteless..good t... I live in Hilton Head Island and had to evacuate for the hurricane. That sentence alone should indicate my stress level- and that we would need a friendly face upon arrival. There was 0 compassion from ANY of the front desk staff until we had to check out. The keys didn't work, so after hauling all our stuff (no cart, no offer of help) to the room, we had to go all the way back down to the desk just to find out that the wrong room number was written on our key packet. Back up to the room ag... Read more

Tis place worked fine since I was working and meeting at the Georgia International Convention Center just a mile or two away. It is a beautiful place. The house it set up for convention guests. The 24 hour shuttle service to the airport was a genuine god-send. The only glaring deficiency was the lack of a self-service laundry. I would stay there again.

We got evacuated from the hurricane in Hilton Head so had to change plans and leave from Atlanta. Stayed at the Westin at the airport. It is a great airport hotel because: it's easy to return your car, there were good restaurants close by, and the bed was heavenly. They actually sell those mattresses on the Westin website and I am sorely tempted.

My husband and I decided we wanted our wedding night hotel to be near the ATL airport, that way we would easily shuttle over for our flight and not have to worry about traffic or anything else. The Westin at the Atlanta Airport is a very clean, very nice location that comfortably met our Westin standards of service and style.

No return visit for me. Everything is almost great. Room service came quick but not what I ordered. Gym is nice - no towels. Room is nice but I was bitten by dust mites. Shuttle took 15 minutes - longer than their competition. Large hotel - great for convention centre.

Started off badly, just landed and rang hotel for shuttle, wasn't told that we had to make our way to the domestic terminal???? 45 minutes later we made it to the hotel-not happy! What a waste of everyone's time. Room was average, breakfast overrated and was quite glad only staying one night.

It was a nice stay. I love the Heavenly Bed series, although the sheets were a little rougher than normal. It was clean and the lobby was very nice. Although the hotel shows signs of age, I would have no reservations about making another one :)

Just stayed overnight en route to vacation, room was clean but I have to say it was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in, not a good nights sleep at all. If you book request a room that's away from the lobby area, check in was efficient though.

My job had 200 quests staying at this hotel, the staff and even the General Managers were in the lobby assisting us to get them checked in and retrieve their luggage. The entire staff were EXCELLENT and made the process so much smoother. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The food was delicious. They also provided a shuttle that took some of the guests to places they needed to go, such as the stores and other eating spots.

Two night stay for business purposes. Staff helpful when asked for assistance but not a warm welcome. Room and hallways showing some wear but still acceptable. Front desk very friendly. We were a large group with our company holding events. The women's bathroom was too small to host groups of visitors.

This hotel is about 5 minutes from airport. It's an older hotel, but very well kept. The staff is extremely helpful. Rooms are nice. The best part for me was the Starbuck's coffee in the rooms :-). If I had one bad thing to say was the pool looked very inviting on the website, but not in person. It was actually dirty (maybe they were having a bad day). That would be my only complaint.

The room was as expected of Westin hotels, but the parking facilities was a disgrace to the Starwood brand. Out of all the hotel stays I've had in my lifetime, the parking situation was the worst I have experienced. To charge $16 a night for airport area parking, I would expect facilities to be functional. I had to return to front desk 3 times in order to try to get a ticket that would allow me to exit the parking lot. This required backing up in parking lot and waiting at front desk each oc... Property is wonderfully maintained, very clean rooms with high end bathroom amenities. Large comfortable rooms. Wide open common areas. Breakfast options are varied and fresh. Dinner in the bar was very good with many light options. All the food and drinks were inexpensive from an Atlanta standpoint. Service from check-in through breakfast in the morning was excellent. Highly recommended this hotel!

Just spent a few days here for a business conference. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle bus that will take you to the nearby Sheraton and the airport. It leaves every 15 minutes, another shuttle bus will take you to a list of restaurants, shops, and a few other places, but you have to notify the front desk and "reserve" a spot on the shuttle. Basically they will take you anywhere you just gotta let them know ahead of time. Overall great experience, very clean rooms, good foo... Read more

I also plugged in my phone battery charger in the bathroom and I realized I left it there after I left ( room 901) and I was told nothing had been turned i... Read more
