Miranda Boston at the front desk of the Sheraton near the airport in Atlanta reclaimed the art in customer service. She encouraged me to sign up for the rewards program which will allow me to save as much as I travel. She superceded in taking care of my needs. She followed up to ensure that I was indeed happy. I felt like a celebrity. But then I thought, this is what feeling like a customer resembles. Ms. Boston was memorable! So if you want to be serviced visit this Sheraton.

The room was clean and comfortable - standard Sheraton room. Shuttle from ATL very convenient - comes every 20 minutes and is close to the terminal. Also has set times when it returns back to the terminal. Not very amenable to public transportation - so would not take the bus from here into the city. Hotel amenities included a tiny exercise room, cafe, big lobby, and pool. Multiple odd characters around the hotel at 2AM in the morning - but that might just have been the day I was there.

After being stuck in traffic due to an Interstate accident I was not going to make my intended destination. This Sheraton was very accommodating to my needs as well as accommodating my dog! The room is small but clean and inviting. Bathroom is tiny as well but very functional. The bar and grill was open until late so the day was saved.

Thank you Shetayon Atlanta airport and Dedo. We have all experienced really tough travel days, but with a 15 month old and older parent in tow, that experience intensifies. The wow factor was on when I was checking in, with a kindness and no worries attitude as far as taking care of me and my son and eventually my father. From giving me a few complimentary drinks as Dedo recognized I was a tired mess, to arranging special vip ride to the airport as I would be traveling just with my baby as my da... Read more

I stayed one night as a convenience to the airport to catch an early flight. Staff is very courteous and hotel has great curb appeal. The foyer is grand and the rooms though renovated do feel a little dated again but they were clean and well cared for. I would stay again for the price. Do not park out front and pay $12 when you can park out back and walk 2/10th of a mile back to the hotel. Ladies and seniors may prefer to pay for the front parking as the backside of the hotel feels a bit isolat... Read more

I booked a one night, last minute, stay due to some changes in our travel plans. Since we were traveling with our infant daughter, after booking the room online, I immediately called the hotel to request a mini-fridge placed in our room to be able to store her formula and food. When I first requested it, the immediate response was, "$20". When I responded, "Huh?", again it was met by "$20". "I'm sorry, what do you mean?" "It will cost you $20 to have that mini-fridge up on your room for the dura... Read more

We recently stayed at this hotel for a short visit to Atlanta. A nice hotel with free shuttle to airport. I redeem SPG point for this stay and quite surprised that I only needed very few points in comparison to what I get. Great staff.

We had a very early flight out at Atlanta and wanted to stay somewhere close by. I was able to use some SPG points for the stay. The hotel is a little older and could use some refurbishment/upgrades, but the rooms on the club (11th and 12th floors) were a little nicer and had mini fridges). The staff was friendly, including the front desk agents and the club attendant. The lady taking care of the club (Ahmad?) was very nice and accommodating, checking on us a few times during our evening vis... Read more

I stayed on the club floor for three days. I enjoyed the hotel and the service. The dining room service was great southern hospitality. I'm in Atlanta at least seven times a year and I always try hotels in different areas. Trust me this one is good.

We stayed here for a short overnight trip. We arrived late and the front parking lot was full. We had to park in the back near a closed parking garage. The area wasn't lit very well. The room was a standard hotel room but the furniture and decorations were a bit dated. Service was good, beds were comfortable. Can't complain about the room. Would stay again.

I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's probably one of the oldest Sheraton Hotels and it has not seen any upgrade or renovation. Everything looks tired and used:the staff, the bar interior, the elevator, even the carpet on the 12th floor has bald spots. Yes, the hotel has the heavenly bed, the WIFI is free and quite fast. The shuttle bus to the airport is free and runs in 15-20 min intervals. On departure I had a late check-out. Housekeeping hadn't gotten the memo and started banging on m... Read more

The beds were big, the outdoor pool was lovely, the check in was easy and friendly. We visited on a very busy weekend with multiple family reunions going on, and the hotel seemed big enough that they crowds of people were not overwhelming. We had a lovely dinner in the Finish Line pub - and great service from our waiter Dajuan. It was a nice finish to a long day of travel

I actually was placed at this hotel after mechanical issues with our flight caused delays. Landing in Atlanta and finding that you completely missed your connecting flight can put a damper in your day, especially if you had plans for the following day. But knowing that your airline will cover your hotel expense makes up for it a bit. The free shuttle to/from the airport was convenient and all the drivers I encountered were great and friendly and really made you feel valued. The hotel was ... Read more

This hotel is NOT easy to find!!! The parking situation is stressful at best. The staff was the highlight as they were all very polite and tried to be accommodating to the guests. The room was clean, however I noticed a lot of areas throughout the building that need a scrubbing, especially the carpeting.

I truly enjoy my stay every time at the Sheraton! They have the best beds out of any hotel I've ever stayed at. You feel safe and at home when you stay at the Sheraton. The rooms are a good size but lack a microwave and fridge. The free water in the room is very nice and stands out to me! The coffee maker is nice. This particular Sheraton had a very cramped and small bathroom. But overall, it was a great experience, and I would love to return.

I had to stay in this hotel just for one night. Check-in thru Check-out never had any good experience. I have been staying in sheraton for the past 20 years with lifetime gold status. Door locks are one of the oldest technology and one has to struggle a lot to open the door. Overall I would recommend not to choose this property if you have a choice.

I stayed here in March of this year. I was traveling to attend a baby shower with my mother n law and my two children a one year old and a 2 month old. The check in was easy and the rooms were very clean. The front desk agents were all very nice and did everything they could to accommodate. Breakfast downstairs was lovely and was delicious! Wow. I was SHOCKED that this hotel is a Sheraton hotel. That weekend I stayed in two different Sheraton properties, and I must say that I am no longer going to be staying with Sheraton. Check in - the computers where down so I had to enter the office to check in. The man was very nice and professional, but the room looked as if it was an office for a foot locker. The restaurant - blah. Expensive and the ambiance feels like a hospital cafeteria. The room----- very outdated and the chair lo... Read more

Stayed here because of early morning flight. The front desk staff was friendly. This hotel is pretty old. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Furniture was old and worn out. There was a lack of electrical plugs near the desk. The room itself was really quiet considering how close it was to the airport runways. There is a mandatory facility fee. For that you get free internet. So really is a mandatory internet charge. I am sick of hotels doing this. It used to be a "resort fee... Read more

5 Stars for APRIL at the front desk ONLY! I don't even know where to begin really. How about I start with the fact that I cannot believe this is a Sheraton. How on earth does this place stay open? I had some issues with my reservation a few days prior to check in and the person I spoke with was less than helpful. It seemed as though her hands where tied as far as making any changes to my reservation. Long story short a family member removed the second day of our stay by accident. When we realiz... Read more

We were provided accommodation by our Airline at the Sheraton Gateway @ Atlanta airport when we missed our connecting flight to Chicago. Upon arrival staff were very nice, room satisfactory , A/C fine, bathroom / toilet very small, but adequate. Offered a buffet breakfast, alas not available that day, but we could order from the a la carte menu. We're were not very impressed, thankfully for the prices one would have had to pay, very expensive for the quality. Excellent shuttle service though. Doubt if I would choose this outlet again. PS the bar in the evening of arrival was very average, no atmosphere.

While the traffic and congestion of going through downtown Atlanta is stressful we can always look forward to staying at the Sheratin.
