Staff, including front desk, shuttle driver and breakfast attendant are very helpful and engaging. The optional (added cost) for extended airport parking is a real winner. Only downside of this property is that the bathroom is not up to Hampton standards

I booked my stay here due to my college graduation. I enjoyed my stay. The hotel location is not too far from many of Atlanta's attractions. The staff was friendly. The check in and check out process was speedy. You can't complain about 12pm check out either.

We found the hotel to be very good for our early access to the airport the following morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The early shuttle time was most helpful along with the ability to leave our vehicle on site while we were away.

This hotel was very close to the airport which made my late flight in a little more bearable. The front desk was extremely kind and helped my business partner and I find some late night food in the area. The rooms were comfy, clean and everything I needed. Breakfast was your typical Hampton breakfast, fulfilling!

The Hampton Inn ATL South is my goto hotel whenever I need to overnight in Atlanta (I have stayed there at least 4 times). While not spectacular, it is reliable, comfortable, clean, and predictable- the last of these is a definite plus in an airport hotel (although not in a resort). Very clean. Nice size rooms. Very friendly service. Andrew at the front desk was excellent and always willing to answer our questions. Only a 5 minute ride to the airport. For being right at the airport it was surprisingly quiet in the rooms. Was expecting to here the planes all night.

Booked 2 rooms for the evening prior to our early morning flight due to location of hotel, availability of long term parking, and airport shuttle. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff was very helpful/friendly, rooms clean. Shuttle service to/from airport was fast, efficient. Parking was very accessible with a quick exit at the end of our trip. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone but especially those flying in/out of ATL.

Friendly staff but hotel in desperate need of updating. Rooms have a musty smell because air contioner does not take moisture out of the room. The carpet feels slimy and your clothes are damp. Rooms are small.

Only stayed before our international flight for one night. There was someone mopping with a very nasty mop and water which had the hallway reading for a long time. You could tell it was time for a new mop. It also made the floor sticky. I love Hampton Inn because of their breakfast and COFFEE (which was still on point), but you could tell it was an old property by the carpets in the hallway and room. Time to touch up a little guys.

Hampton Inn give you a great product at a great price. This one exceeded expectations. They offer an evening manager's receipt during the week. Breakfast offered good quality good. Exercise faciility was fine. Prompt airport shuttle. Would definitely stay again.

Make sure you reserve parking ahead of time. Apparently they were booked when I went, but half the parking lot was empty at 4 am? Room was small, but tidy and clean. Staff was not the friendliest. I would not recommend.

Great place to stay and just a few minutes from the rental car center at the Atlanta airport. I looked at the rates in this area being so close to the airport and you won't get a better rate for the quality of the stay. I requested a fridge upon arrival but they didn't have any more. Bummer. I did arrive after 7 pm though. I would stay here again. Breakfast was yummy too.

I have stayed at a few Hampton Inns recently. This one did not meet my expectations. The positives were that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle service is provided at no charge. The room was average with the bathroom being on the dirty side. Floor of bathroom was dirty (hair on floor) and there were mildew stains on the ceiling of the shower (room 335.) We have stayed here many times, but have noticed the last couple of stays how run down the hotel is looking. The carpets, the rooms, the elevators, everything needs to be cleaned and updated. This last time, it was hard to find a clean table at breakfast despite the fact that there were few people there. Love Hamptons, but if this does not change, we will have to look at an alternative.

Great hotel for the price, and awesome location for traveling out of the city after. We completely missed the Atlanta traffic, and it wasn't hard to get to from downtown. I always stay at Hampton Inns when traveling. However, this was not a good experience. The staff and location were great but the are no fans to circulate air in the restrooms. Therefore, we found mold and a strange smell in the room. My daughter was sick for 2 days after our stay.

This hotel was the worse hotel in regards to cleanliness that I've ever stayed in. Hall and elevator floors badly in need of shampooing. Room not vacuumed daily, housekeeping used a lint roller on a stick to clean room floor. It didn't work very well! Front desk staff very nice though. Day and night staff very personable as was the shuttle drivers. The only good thing I can say about it.

We usually stay at Hampton Inns. Got in late, arranged to stay at the airport for the night. Front desk lady was pleasant, even changed our room so we would have a micro and frig (don't they usually have them in EVERY room?) to heat up some snacks. The property looked tired, and likely is on the list to get a remodel. Our room was clean and neat, but small. (Recently stayed at a Hampton Inn in Brooklyn NY - where you might expect a smaller room - and this room was more cramped.)

This property is not up to Hampton quality. The room was tired, old and not up to date. Bathroom water power was modest. Entrance door was warped and very difficult to open. Duvet on the bed was much too heavy. However, the service was warm and very pleasant.

My wife's flight was canceled and she does not fly very much. I called this hotel and they jumped into action and make sure she was safe and sound. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm also a diamond member and I saw how they went above and beyond the call of duty!

Great place to stay. Very clean. Friendly staff. Easy to find, right beside the ATL Airport Domestic Terminal. While you could hear the planes, it was not loud enough to keep you awake or even wake you up in the morning.

I stayed there for a night, the hotel room was very clean, the smell in the hotel room was very pleasant. HHonours members can do web check in, Jon arrival, just grab the key from the front desk and proceed to room. Not the cleanest room I've stayed in. I was surprised this hotel was a Hampton Inn. It is very old and dark. Had some cleanliness issues in the room and bathroom. The location was right outside of airport and shuttle was quick.

This is a great hotel. There is a nearby Ruby Tuesday's that you can eat at without having to run all over Atlanta to find something to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn't have an opputunity to get in the pool, but as I walked by, it was clean and other people were enjoying it.

I stayed at this hotel to catch an early flight after driving 3 hours. It was clean and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The room was a bit smaller than I'm used to, but overall average for this type of location. The complimentary shuttle was prompt and leaves every 30minutes.

I stayed here on a business trip and everything was great! You can actually walk across the street to Ruby Tuesday's resturant which I did. Awesome food and price! This hotel is in a great location and the staff is very nice. I would definately stay here again!

I love this hotel. When I come to Atlanta I stay at this Hotel. They have clean rooms, excellent customer service, hot breakfast,pool, workout room etc.. They also have there own shuttle that run back and fourth to the airport if you travel by plane. The hotel about half hour from downtown Atlanta, but you can catch the shuttle to airport and get on the Marta to go downtown to shop and see the sights. I recommend this hotel.

This Hampton is a great value and located 5 minutes from the airport. If you book your park & fly room far enough in advance there are a limited number of long term parking spaces that make getting to the terminal for an early morning flight easy.

It was very convenient to get to from the airport. There's a shuttle that comes every half hour to pickup and dropoff. The staff is friendly and the late night food choices were decent. I liked the fact that breakfast was included which helped save on additional cost and time in the morning.

My wife and I stayed at the HAMPTON ATLANTA AIRPORT while in town for a concert. The hotel was small but nice, the pool is tiny and no hot tub. We enjoyed the stay before our flight everyone was kind and helpful, would stay there again, the only thing we did not like were the pillows as they were pretty flat on our return stay after flying international and tired the shuttle could have been there instead we would have to have waited 30 min. in 90 degree temps. Another hotel gave us a ride to the Hampton which was very nice of that driver.

I stayed at this property on 2 Sept and I while they were able to accommodate me short notice, I was extremely disappointed that the Internet/wifi did not work during my stay. Hotel was great the check in was a breeze quickest check in I have ever had. the staff was super friendly. My room was very clean and the bed was comfy as hell. Also i had a big audition in the morning so they went the extra mile to make sure that I was awake for it. The lobby has a very modern elegant decor and the staff was extremely helpful and professional. The rooms were exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds and fast wifi. What more can you ask for? We had to overnight in Atlanta following an overseas vacation, and selected this Hampton due to the airport shuttle service and the room rate. The shuttle runs every half hour - we almost missed the connection at the airport because we were unclear where to pick it up, but with a little running we made it! The rest went fine. I stay at Hampton Inns frequently for business and personal travel. Generally they are clean and well kept. This location is not. The hotel is run down and generally lacking in cleanliness. One elevator was broken and the other hadn't been cleaned in some time. The guest room was worn and unclean. I would not stay at this location again or recommend to others.

Over all it's a very good hotel. Check-in went smoothly and lady at front desk was friendly and very helpful. Toilets are the old high-flow inefficient models. but otherwise everything was good. Breakfast was decent as well.

Wonderfully run, clean hotel, very close to ATL airport, with a great breakfast buffet included. The complimentary airport shuttle was appreciated, and harder to find these days. We found room in the back for our large rental truck and motorcycle trailer. The front desk folks were very helpful as we searched for safe parking.

Stayed here the night before a morning flight. It is near the Rental Car Center so I turned in my car when I checked in and used the shuttle to take me to the airport the next morning. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour and half hour. From the airport to the hotel, the shuttle picks up at zone 1 lanes 20-24 on the quarter hour and three quarter hour. We stayed here for a night before a flight to use their parking for a week. The parking was wonderful and we didn't have any issues with our vehicle or the shuttle service. This hotel was a dream. I stayed for two nights in the second half of a two-week trip and I felt absolutely spoiled. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful during our stay, and the pool was gorgeous and a perfect spot to take a dip and then just sunbathe right after. My stay at the Hampton Inn Atlanta Airport was pleasant. Check in/out was fast and I was able to find parking and locate my room easily. I found my room to be spacious, clean and overlooking a sparkling pool. I slept very well on their plush bed. Breakfast both mornings of my stay, offered a lot of variety with hot and cold items. Following a 400+ mile drive from Orlando to ensure the family, to include a 5 month old, were safe from Hurricane Matthew these past few days, we ended up at this Hampton Inn. Location was great as far as proximity to the airport and car rental facility and the staff was very nice however the facility is older then any other Hampton Inn I have stayed at over the years. Checked in and had to immediately change rooms due to uncleanliness of the bathroom. Had to clean bathroom in the second room, and pillows were flat. Complimentary breakfast was poor (hot food was not kept hot). Had to shorten our original 5-day stay to 2 days and move to a hotel next door due to internet going down in the hotel (husband had to miss an important online corporate meeting because we had to transition to another hotel). Will definitely not stay in this hotel again.

Shuttle to and from the Airport made our stay at the Hampton in Atlanta, GA worth while. Morning breakfast, free coffee and waters during the day were a big plus as well. If ever in Atlanta again, I'd be happy to stay there.

My stay at the Hampton Inn Atlanta-Airport was the most pleasurable hotel experience I‚??ve had. When I arrived, there was free dinner available (pulled pork sandwiches, chips, sodas, etc). The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows. Was a little frustrated upon arrival due to staff behind the desk checking us out told us there was no parking available on a long-term basis. When the security guard walked in he said there was plenty! T hat was the only complaint I had. Rooms were clean , staff was helpful and the breakfast was good.

We had a very early departure from Atlanta Airport and so decided to overnight there. It was a smart move, and the shuttle (terrific drivers) and friendly and helpful hotel staff reinforced this decision. We almost always stay at Hampton Inns, and so we have a sort of baseline to judge them. And while we would stay at this Hampton Inn again, we should point out that it is a rather tired-looking property. Pros: nice staff, good breakfast, shuttle to/from airport every 30 minutes (4am-1am) Cons: very dated, stale smell throughout facility, difficult parking situation (they rent most of their spaces to airline travelers)

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Atlanta Airport was very pleasant. The staff went beyond and above to accommodate us in our time of grief. Thank you Hilton and Staff for a memorable stay. I will definitely recommend this facility to other people.

The room we stayed in needed updating. The bed was lumpy, queen top sheet on a king bed, and malfunctioning hair dryer that stuck on low. Next time we need to stay near the airport, we'll choose a different property.
