Perfect hotel for the airport as it's one easy stop on the sky train! The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. It was very quiet and i got a great nights sleep. The only downside was that i didn't get my requested wake up call, but i was already awake due to the time difference so it was no big deal! All round, a great stay!

Spent one night here, accidentally booked this hotel thinking it was my conference site, I was wrong. Taxied 1.6 miles several times to another Marriott Airport Hotel to teach a class. (Yup, 2 Marriott Airport Hotels, less than 2 miles apart.) having said that, this hotel has a great lobby, very engaging, very upscale, great vibe. Concierge on 7th floor, great breakfast. Room 575 is a suite, wish I had hung out another day, very comfortable.

This was great for our business trip. Rooms were perfect. The bar and restaurant easily accommodated our huge party and another company as well. There were minor complaints but we all had a good time. The bed lights weren't working, they didn't give a good explaination of the Internet signing in, charges, etc, and no prices were given/posted of the valet parking. These issues were very very minor. The customer service was great.

Our first time in the hotel, staying with a park n fly deal. Great service on arrival from Ali with our bags and explaining parking, and the young man from Birmingham at the front desk. Concierge level room. The concierge lounge is fairly large and bright with nice seating. The evening buffet had salad, cheeses, fruit, a rice and bbq chicken meal and a very rich chocolate cake. It was more than Snacks - a meal. Breakfast had egg, bacon, oatmeal etc. being a platinum member had its advantages. ... Read more

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and we were flying out early. We didn't realize how close and convenient it was . WOW, we were able to drive the rental car to the airport which was very close and take the sky rail back to the hotel which was literally three minutes from the stop. Upon arrival we were greeted by Hassan , Who was awesome!!!!! I highly recommend that this man get a raise because he is the PERFECT ambassador for this hotel. The rooms were great ! Clean ... The Marriott Gateway is within a Sky Train ride away from the Atlanta, Georgia Domestic Terminal which makes it so convenient for travelers needing to stay a night near the airport for early morning travel. We have stayed there on several occasions and the room is always ready, clean and comfortable. They have a very nice lounge in the lobby area with both bar and table seating. You can even place food orders and enjoy a light meal without having to visit the restaurant. Champions will be ... Read more

This was our second stay at this hotel, the location to the airport is excellent, it's a bit of a pain having to get the shuttle bus from the international terminal to the domestic one but once there the hotel is only one stop away on the monorail. Also very easy the next day going to collect our hire car again only one stop on the monorail. The hotel Is just what we needed after an 9 hour flight we new we would be having a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed in a well maintained room. W... Read more

This was our third stay at the Marriott Gateway. We have taken advantage of the very convenient location relative to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the park-fly option they offer each time prior to departing out of ATL. It is a very clean and modern facility that is literally steps away from the tram to the domestic terminal. I travel with my wife and two children. So, the rooms are pretty small (basic room with two beds). The bathrooms are very small as well. But, the staff ... Read more

We booked a room at this hotel when we had a layover in Atlanta and I was impressed. It was modern, the kids loved the pool, the fitness center was great and we enjoyed the food. We booked a package that included breakfast, and felt it was a good value.

My wife and I had an early flight to Punta Cana in early June so we stayed at this property on the stay and fly rate. The vehicle was parked in the 3 level parking deck for seven days. Great value and we could take the tram to the airport terminal. We did have to take a shuttle from the main terminal to the international terminal but it was an easy process with no delays. Quite room, great food in the restaurant, easy to locate the property. No issues at all. I am a Marriott Rewards member and... Read more

It is obvious from this and my previous stay at this hotel that the team has been well-trained in Southern hospitality. I have never encountered any employee here who was not pleasant or helpful. My room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and wifi was available. There is a fitness center with treadmills with TVs, weight machines, and elliptical machines; a pool; and a business center for travelers. The 7th floor is the club floor and includes the concierge lounge with complimentar... Read more

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near the airport. It's steps away from the sky tram, one stop from the terminal. The hotel itself seems new and the rooms are updated and clean. Service was excellent. I didn't try the restaurants but did have breakfast in the executive lounge as a Gold member--the food was basic but good. They serve until 9 am. The sister hotel SpringHill Suites is also on the same stop, also very nice. Usually SS is cheaper but this time around the... Read more

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night before an early morning flight to Quebec City where I left my car for four nights. Room was great & quiet even though we were right by the airport. Staff fantastic. Dinner that night was very good at their restaurant. Sky train to & from airport very quick & very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Ended up stranded in ATL for the evening due to a missed connection because of a mechanical delay out of Pensacola. Delta put us up at this hotel and it was anything but your typical stranded traveler hotel. It appeared very new with a very nice lobby, like new common areas and a well appointed room. Although we would have preferred to have made it home to Minnesota we were at least put up at a very nice property. Jamie, the gentlemen who checked us in, was outstanding! He knew we had a lon... This hotel, located on the other side of I-85 adjacent to the Georgia International Convention Center is recent construction and easily accessed using the free light-rail system that connects the airport to the car rental complex. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are efficient and sparkle, and the staff are generally warm and hospitable. When I get caught in an unplanned layover, this is always to first hotel I check for rooms. No other hotel in the area is as convenient to the airport, tho... Read more

Good stay Good service my usual hotel of choice when I do visit Atlanta. Only negative is free wifi service is limited to immediate lobby area other wise you have to pay for wifi thru out hotel. Most places give free now in this day due to the necessity. Champion restaurant down stairs has great food and service, be it with family in the restaurant it self or just hang out at the bar watching the games.

I have been to business conferences in hotels all across the country. I have never seen the quality of food, the professionalism of staff and the absolute lack of complaints as I did (surprisingly) with this hotel. Other than regular Atlanta traffic issues, this hotel is so well landscaped and the grounds covered with an abundance of large trees that it was never obvious that the busiest airport in the Nation is only minutes away! The room was even quiet! They have a wonderful outdoor venue fo... Read more

Quite simply - this place is great. I've stayed here twice the night before an early morning flight so I wouldn't have to fight the Atlanta traffic to get to the airport. Being right at the airport the location is great - I check in, drop off my bags, and then return the car to the rental center. You take the tram one stop, and you're back at the hotel. In the morning you hop on the tram, and in less that 5-minutes you're at the airport. I love the rooms at the hotel. The have a nice moder... Read more

I stayed here for a single night after arriving from Europe. Once you have got from the International terminal (via the shuttle bus) to the Domestic terminal, you simply take the Sky Train which services the Rental Car Centre but get off at the first stop, and it is a couple of minutes walk. Check in was simple as I'd already done so on the App, so straight up to my room which was modern, clean and comfortable - see the photos. Although somewhat off the beaten path, this is a fairly new property. The lobby is large and inviting with a nice lobby bar, the work out room has a good selection of machines and bar bells (up to 50 lbs). Had dinner at Champions, which, although is a chain that attaches itself to many Marriott properties, it was convenient and good--I recommend an order of the onion rings if you're an aficionado. Great hotel, food excellent, but I had problems with my bill (which in my 25 years of being a Marriott reward member has never happened). My bill was never emailed to me. Hotel is in a great location especially if you flew into the city. The staff in the champs sports bar was excellent. I wish I could have given this hotel 5 stars but even when a hotel is swamped there is still a level I expect especially has a very loyal Marriott rewards member.

We swear by this hotel since we flew out last Thanksgiving. This time around the beds are always very comfortable , our check in experience did not make us feel as well greeted as last time and the reservation center was less than friendly, but we are willing to try again because of a special waitress named Barbara. She has treated us like family and knows us everytime we come. Maybe they need to ask Barbara on tips for customer service.

This hotel was fine for a business stay. It's really nice that the self parking is so close to the lobby. Our room was fine and well appointed. It had a refrigerator and coffeemaker. Small detail - it was fun how the elevator "voice" was British! The concierge level was lovely and the woman working there very helpful. No complaints.
