Comfort Inn & Suites Blue Ridge is a nice average hotel. It is not a new property and furnishings are beginning to show signs of wear. Our room was clean enough and the bed comfortable,so it certainly met our needs. The breakfast bar was certainly adequate also. A wash cloth in our sink area was not dirty but felt (wet) as though it had already been used. Nothing bad to say; just nothing outstanding either. The price did seem a little on the high side for "average."

The hotel entrance is nicely designed and appealing. Check in was a breeze and we were off to our rooms. Our rooms were on the first floor. The room was a good size, the bathroom area was tight but very clean. The decoration in the room was nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. I usually don't sleep well while traveling but I slept well in this room.

We stayed at our favorite hotel again for the St Patrick's Day festivities. As usual, a delightful stay. We were unable to reserve a 1st floor room, since we waited until the last minute, however, we found the top floor very enjoyable. We had a nice view, which made it worthwhile. There have been improvements made to the outside area where one can relax and enjoy the scenery. Our room was immaculate and breakfast was enjoyable.

In BR for anniversary. This Comfort Suites is wonderful. We are diamond members with Choice, so they upgraded us. A beautiful clean hotel, with a great breakfast area. They even had a big bowl of fresh blueberries which you don't see. Front desk agents Elizabeth and Bonnie were great. Very friendly and a joy to talk to. I don't think we have had any better experience at a Choice anywhere! Some are pretty rough and don't give a hoot, but not here. We will always stay there when in the mou... Read more

Comfort Inn is atop a hill at the edge of town, looking out toward the blue ridge of Georgia's mountains which gives this small resort destination its name. Our suite was quite comfortable, the lobby area and breakfast area are spacious and well-designed, none of that cookie-cutter look so common to so many chain hotels. For us, it is the top place to stay in more ways than one. We will be back.

We loved to location and how close it was to everything. The room was pretty clean and bed was comfortable. There was a little problem with ants in the bedroom, but didn't make us leave. Nice staff and ok breakfast.

Love this place when going for a short visit. Has free breakfast and good mountain views from so areas of the hotel. Also has a lodge-like feel with fireplaces in the lobby, free coffee in breakfast area (which overlooks the mountains). But it does get completely full during the fall and winter months so plan ahead.

My friend and I spent two nights here while we hiked around the Blue Ridge area. It's a great place to stay! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were large and ours had a fridge in it. The breakfast was standard as any hotel, but filling to start the day. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the North Georgia Mountains. We had a good view of the mountains from our room.

I'm partial to Marriott but since there isn't one in the area we decided on this Comfort Inn. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the common areas and the decor was beautiful. Front desk staff was very helpful upon check in and we also noticed they had fresh coffee as well as an afternoon snack-some type of bar cookie that looked delicious. The power did go out during our stay but that was in no way the property's fault. Once the power outage hit we decided to go to town for dinner ... Read more

If you aren't looking to rent a cabin then this hotel is the way to go. The staff are consistently very pleasant and accommodating. The free breakfast is great. The hotel sits atop a hill so the views are beautiful. It is located just a few minutes drive to downtown Blue Ridge and also Mercier Orchards.

The location is perfect, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. We stayed for Valentines weekend, it was freezing and loved coming back in the evening for fresh coffee and valentine cupcakes in the lobby. The walls are thin and we could clearly hear a woman next door singing afternoon delight over and over while I believe taking a bath. It was very entertaining and I enjoyed the sound of her voice. It was obvious she had some age on her, and after some time the husband... Read more

Comfort Inns are known as being a budget hotel and this one was also reasonably priced. However, it actually felt like a lodge or cabin, with the dark wood interior and the patio in the back! It felt a lot nice than the typical budget Comfort Inns. I thought that the lodge-feel fit in perfectly in the Blue Ridge Mountains! The staff was nice when we checked in, and they had some fruit infused water by the registration desk. (Always a plus!) The room was clean and reasonably sized. Even though we... Read more

New & well maintained comfort Inn. Good breakfast. Be sure to check out the sunset at rear of hotel. Walls are a bit thin, if you can stand the climb stay on 3rd floor. Lobby much like a Mountain Inn. No pool for the children.

We had a handicapped room on the first floor. I travel with a wheelchair bound person. The room had sufficient electric outlets for 2 medical machines, 2 phone chargers, a couple of other appliances we use. The shower needed some repairs. The room and bath were clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our bbq lunch across the street from the Mackaysville train station had excellent cole slaw and country captain stew. Highlight of the day was r... Read more

While visiting the area recently, we stayed for a night at this hotel. It is a really nice, clean hotel with all the amenities we could need. Our room was massive and comfortable. We slept like rocks! I took advantage of the fitness room, which is well stocked with great cardio equipment, and plenty of room for strength training/stretching, yoga, etc. It is a bit on the pricey side, but overall, we had a lovely stay.

Very nice place to stay. We were in a 2 bdrm suite. Only one room was separate with a closed door. The other room was just divided by a wall. Good complimentary breakfast nothing fancy but just what you would expect. Everything was clean and modern. Would highly recommend.

One of the best attributes of this hotel is the view.. Surrounded by mountains (see photo). Very basic in amenities. Seems very clean and quiet. Good for a one night stay with the kids. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Make sure to get a room on the back side to see the sunset

This hotel was extremely clean, the staff was friendly, and the room and bed were quite comfortable. The breakfast had the usual continental items, but also had hot eggs, bacon, and sausage. The breakfast area was clean, and they kept the food items well stocked. The grounds and interior are beautiful. Well decorated and everything is clean, from the parking lot to the room. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Many choices, well stocked and kept hot. The room was not up to par due to the A/C. When I opened the room it smelled like a high school locker room after a football game. The thermostat read 74. It was more like 94. I asked for a different room and was told No, by a grumpy older woman. She told me thermostats are correct, to push it ... Read more

Desk staff wasn't friendly until the morning we left. Hotel was clean and housekeeping did an excellent job. Storm put the hotel in darkness for 31/2 hours. (2100-0030hrs)Staff said they were trying to reach management as obviously this was a first for most of the employees. No attempt was made to check on guests or provide any assistance during what was labeled "an act of GOD". I phoned the hotel on Monday as I was told they were not available on the weekend. This was an unplanned stop on our vacation due to the recent hurricane. This was the most beautiful view I have ever seen from a hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly, rooms nice and clean and a delicious free breakfast with a nice variety of food to choose from. The location is great, just a short ride to the quaint downtown area.

wonderful hotel in Blue Ridge, the rooms were well appointed and I had no problem with the AC unlike some prior reviews. The dining area and lobby was somewhat rustic in design and nice to hang out in. There is a nice terrace with wonderful views. The breakfast was fantastic, hotel staff were friendly would not stay anywhere else if I were to return to Blue Ridge.

We stayed in this hotel one Sunday night in Blue Ridge Georgia. The view out the window was from the back of the hotel, it was okay, not bad. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well except that our upstairs neighbor got up at 6 am and walked back and forth (packing I guess?) for about 30 minutes, keeping us awake until he or she left. So, not soundproof. And we keep a fan running all night for white noise. Breakfast was okay, not impressive but adequate.

Stayed at the hotel for a second time. This is a nice hotel on top of a high with very nice views. We had a problem the day before check-in that the manager handled-for some reason we had 2 reservations. Check in was quick; not super friendly; but quick. The room was nicely appointed and large. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is small but adequate. Sink is outside the bathroom which is nice as someone can be brushing their teeth while the other person is showering or using the toilet. TV... i know I am paying a premium to stay in hotel in a resort area in season, but it's off season There is nothing special about this place to make it worth 175.00. The room i was in was not even a suite. The room didn't even have a microwave. The service was average at best. The shower enclosure is so cheap, it squeaks when you walk around in it. I guessing this is one of the best places to stay in Blue Ridge.

I accidentally booked 2 rooms because my browser timed out and when I called the hotel within 5 minutes was told that they could not change anything as it was a "pre-paid" room. I asked for a manager and was told I could change the date for one of the rooms (it says can't do that either but somehow that would have been ok) to a date the next month or two. Won't stay there now or ever.....
