This was an older Comfort Inn that they had redone. The room was very nice and the bath clean. Wifi worked well, the breakfast was very basic Comfort Inn but the attendant was attentive and nice. I adidas not swim but the pool looked like it was well taken care of.

In town for a wedding. Very clean, nice property. Rooms were very comfortable. Beds and pillows were awesome! Good breakfast and friendly staff, certainly enough choices for breakfast. Fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, plus all the usual hot services, waffles, eggs, etc. Nice location. Secure.

Had a very pleasant three night stay at his hotel. Good rooms which were comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Parking at back of hotel close to rooms. The hotel was well off the road, so had no traffic noise, although Blairsville is a small town.

The room was amazing and everything was perfectly clean. They did a great job keeping up with the housecleaning and it was just such a great experience at such a hard time for my family. The price was definitely worth it. The location is downtown but it's off the road so you don't have the noise of the busy streets, and yet you're still in the center of everything. Definitely will be staying here again.

I spent 1 night in room 201 which was a room at the end of the hall. The room was very spacious and clean with nice up to date decor. It had the most comfortable king size bed I have ever slept in. There is no view from the window, but that didn't bother me. The room was great, the only negative thing I could say is that the door across the hall was rather loud when someone went in or out. There is a very nice indoor pool and a small continental breakfast. I will definitely stay here again... Read more

Overall this hotel is what would be expected from a Comfort Inn. Rooms are fine, a bit dark, but overall, if was fine. However, it is not what one would expect from the "friendly north Georgia mountains." As a lifelong visitor to the area, I am accustomed to being made to feel at home. The older lady at the front desk was very nice, but the manager never made any attempt to speak to us, even when he was right beside us at three different times during our less than 24 hour stay. Spent one night for a quick 'weekend in the mountains' getaway. Clean and quiet. Good cold AC on a hot weekend. Front desk female staff member was friendly & helpful. Good breakfast choices. Helpful breakfast staff! A step above most other choice hotels where we have stayed.

My wife and I stayed at this property for one full week. As with all of my reviews I will present the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Good: The staff are all amazing. Friendly would be an understatement. The price was reasonable. The location was perfect - literally right on the Butternut Creek Golf Course. Since we were there to play golf this was ideal for us! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Housekeeping were attentive and respected the Do Not Disturb sign. The pool was never crowded. La... Read more

We road in on a Friday night to ride the Gauntlet on Saturday morning. One of our party had a problem with their room as the AC did not work and it seem to be a issue putting them in a different room. They finally did get moved. Like another review said they need a little updating but it was clean and besides the AC in the one room maintained well. I do wish they would have had a place were we could have gathered to sit and talk after our ride. It is nice to just sit and laugh together after a d... Read more

I had to go to a training in town for several days. When I booked the room the pictures on the website showed rooms that were a littled dated, but came highly recommended by customers. When I arrived I was pleasently surprised to see my room had been recently renovated. I would stay here again!

This is a great location for exploring North Georgia, the hotel is next door to a wonderful golf course and club the views from there are stunning. The hotel which was formerly a Holiday Inn Express, is set back from a busy road but is very quiet and pleasant. We stayed for 4 nights, our room was spacious and clean but could do with some updating. The staff we came into contact with (not many) were quite distant and not particularly friendly. When I checked into the hotel I commented on my concern about room noise and quality. Julie was very nice but did comment that they were at capacity so if I didn't like my room there was just one other option. We were assigned Room 130 and very pleased with the room. Very clean and I must say what a comfortable bed! At 4:30AM there was a lot of noise above us...sounded like an elephant and this continued until 6:30AM when my husband finally called the front desk. We stayed here for one night. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room had been recently renovated. The accommodations were spacious and the beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the A/C filter needs to be cleaned. Every time the air kicked in (which worked very well, we were nice and cool) a moldy smell infiltrated. My husband and I both woke with sinus issues. We did alert the front desk at check out and he assured us that t... Read more

Pros: Recently renovated rooms and common areas, surprisingly plush towels, soft sheets, great water pressure, nice mountain view out back, friendly staff. Cons: Stale, faint, lingering cigarette smoke odor in the room (not stifling, but I could smell it in my hair and clothes after I left.) Several areas of the hotel had their own distinctive funk, even though to place seemed clean. The stairwell smelled like hot garbage. The vending area smelled like dirty diapers. It's kind of puzzling; the ... Read more

I'll start with how we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations of the Comfort Inn. The room was clean, the staff was very pleasant and the location was easy to find/access. For under $100/night, we had a room with 2 queen beds, a micro frig, desk for working, pool and a full breakfast each morning...not a bare bones continental breakfast. Behind the hotel was the community center which housed the commerce office and a very nice country club. You could sit on a bench at the edge of the ... Read more

There aren't a lot of hotels in the area to choose from, but we were very happy with this one. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a decent size. The sink was separate from rest of the bathroom, which I find helpful if you have more than one person getting ready at the same time. The breakfast had a decent number of options including waffles, sausage, eggs, cereals, and pastries. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Stayed here for a night while visiting Blairsville. Front staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was with breakfast. We needed to get an early start and leave by 7 am. Since breakfast was served at 6:30, didn't think it would be an issue. Well there was a car rally of some sort in town and they were all there waiting at 6am. So by the time we got down there, eggs and breakfast meats were gone. Lady working the breakfast area wasn't very forthcoming with when more i... Read more

This place has been recently renovated but some of the work is shoddy. For example, there is a fire sprinkler in the middle of a wall. They literally just made a notch in the wall near the ceiling to accommodate the already existing sprinkler, rather than move it. There were 1/4 inch gaps around the light fixtures in the room leaving gaps. Water damage I the bathroom was simply covered with "popcorn ceiling " stuff , rather than being repaired. I didn't venture far from the hotel, so I can only go strictly from what I could find next to the hotel. (Don't run on the golf course!!) For this price, this room was excellent. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything smelled fresh and clean. Pleasant atmosphere from the time we pulled in. Walked in the door to get a last minute room, and was pleasantly greeted by Julie. Super efficient, professional, and courteous. Not only did we love the room and area but having someone at the front desk who doesn't act like they hate their job is very refreshing. Julie, you were awesome and thank you, we will definately be back.

Good location, was visiting when travelling through and didn;t want to drive too far after a wine festival. WiFi was great and fast, beds very comfortable, got a good night's sleep, parking was secure, check in easy. Breakfast wasn't much and too crowded, surprised to not find any water coolers (was empty and not refilled in 3 hours we were there in the morning) and no drinking water fountains. Would stay there again for the location and value.

If you can tolerate the stench of cigarettes outside or inside... you might be happy. Had to be one of my worst hotel experiences in my life... I really don't want to put one dot on the rating... it deserves a big ZERO. Cigarette butts all over the ground areas.

The rooms are small, when there are two beds in the room. The bathtub did not drain very well. The sink was cracked. The carpets were dirty. The "free" breakfast in the morning was adequate, but obvious that it was pre-prepared. This hotel is way overpriced. We paid $113 per night. Next time we visit Blairsville we will look for accommodations elsewhere.

Several of us travelled here for a motorcycle trip -- this was a great choice for us on where to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us as we were trying to determine the best route to take. The breakfast was great. The lady running that was constantly busy keeping up with so many folks eating, making requesting, and asking questions. She should be commended for keeping a great smile on her face and being friendly. Everyone should pat her on the back.

Just stayed here with a friend of mine on a motorcycle trip on the weekend of October 29th and 30th. The room was clean and well appointed as was the hotel itself. The free breakfast was decent. They had cereal, fried and hard boiled eggs, sausage, lots of different types of bread including wheat toast (but no white), bagels, muffins, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, milk, and do it yourself waffles. A good location for a trip to North GA and southwestern NC. Property is well maintained and the room was nice. Appears to have been recently updated. The heat/AC unit needed some maintenance. The compressor had a rattle and there were problems controlling the room temperature. The hotel is very convenient to stores and restaurants. Helen GA is about 25 miles through the Chattahoochee National Forest and Highlands NC is about 60 miles away. Again another scenic drive.

The bed slept so well we are going to buy the bed for our home. (We were already in the market for one.) If the cabin falls through we WILL stay there agian.

Upon arrival you need to keep in mind that This place has no Street frontage so you need to look for the sign. They have undergone recent zoning that renders your gps unreliable depending on your approach. FYI---Kelly street is a private driveway. The rooms are nice and a good value. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! No wonder this is the top rated accommodation!

I have thought about this for a couple of days, but have to be absolutely true to what this place is. Have I stayed in worse places? Yes. But since this changed from Holiday Inn Express, it has gone down hill sharply. The only positive is the front desk staff who were very helpful and pleasant. The First room had not been vacuumed. No telling what else had not been cleaned. Changed rooms. The second room was better but certainly no 4-star room. For instance, the 2nd day of stay, cleaning... Read more
