Great historic hotel in an amazing location up on the Hill. Great view of the city. Wonderful rooftop bar. Rooms are large and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Helpful bell man who also served as a concierge and offered to use the complimentary van service to and from dinner so we didn't more our vehicle and could enjoy our wine. Would definitely return.

My husband and I dropped in for a cocktail to see the newly remodeled Partridge Inn. They did a very good job on the building - looks great. When we walked up to the bar, I asked my husband, "wine or liquor" to which the bartender replied, "he looks like a liquor man!" Ok - so we went with martini's. The bartender then said, "how about a double. They're only $5 more!" And before we could respond, he was off to make the drinks. No qualms with the drink. It was a generous portion. We sat ... The Partridge Inn is nice Historic Hotel with big verandas, only 2.8 miles from James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium. Shuttle service to waterfront provided by hotel. Rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Restaurant food on premise was bland and odd offerings-eat somewhere else. Did not get to take in the rooftop bar as it was closed. Some rooms are accessed by service elevator: those rooms are on the backside of the hotel. You will need to go through staff as they talk in the hall... Read more

Nice appearance from outside. Not much room for parking when checking in, but had I known upfront to park in deck. It is a easy walk to lobby. Met a friend for drinks at the bar. Which has a very nice atmosphere along with outside seating. Then we went out for dinner and met a couple of more friends. Came back after concert and had a night cap. It's location is very good. Very affordable cab fare.

This was our first time trying Hilton's Curio Collection, & it didn't disappoint. It has the feel of an old Southern manor house that's been converted into a modern and comfortable hotel. Each room is unique, there's a nice swimming pool, and a very nice restaurant/bar with a huge outdoor covered terrace. The service is a little young and scattered, but very friendly. Pull up front to unload bags before parking the car in the back parking lot.

my wife and I have stayed here many times but I think this time was the best... from the moment we arrived til we left the staff is so genuinely nice and helpful. My example is while carrying our luggage to the room, a member of the cleaning staff saw us and went to our door took our key welcomed us and helped us get in our room... I have never had the cleaning staff at any hotel be any more accommodating... and this attitude is apparent with all the staff... and love the rooms all are different... Read more

The room was tiny and had ceilings shorter than my head in some areas. The window AC also leaked so much I had to put the ice bucket under the leak to stop the water from piling up on the carpet. The bucket was filled with over a cup of water when I woke up. I checked out after one night of miserable sleep.

The Partridge Inn is a local gem. Stayed here on a "stay-cation" with my then boyfriend (now hubby). We got the romance package that came with some great champagne and strawberries. The room was very clean. I've also attended a number of weddings at this location and the rooms are nice. The food felt a little over-priced, but it was delicious. They frequently have some sort of event you can enjoy going on. The night we stayed there was a live band. We didn't require any additional service so ou... Read more

This hotel is a hidden gem. I stayed here for 5 nights and my experience was superb! Small Boutique Hotel in a quiet area. Wonderful food! Dinner was amazing! Breakfast was better than any hotel I've stayed at. Came down for a basketball tournament and was bragging about this hotel. Others in the area paid more and did not have the experience that I had while staying at the Partridge Inn. What a find! There was a Concierge person named James. James was amazing! Didn't explain where the room was, and the hotel is very chopped up and easy to get lost in. Keys didn't work, A/C didn't work, customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Someone took me through the greasy floor kitchen to get to my room. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Tucked in a residential area is this great hotel. The staff is quick to offer assistance and answer questions. We only stayed 1 night but it was a pleasant experience. The only drawback was that our room was off the elevator and down 3 steps. This made getting our bags to our room more difficult. I would advise that if you have any problem with stairs, you make sure your room is on the elevator level and not down any stairs.

After seeing that the Partridge Inn was a Hilton Curio Hotel and had gone through renovation. We decided to give it try, again. When we arrived on Thursday July 14, 2016 for our stay through July 21, 2016, we were happily surprised by the new front desk remodel, color scheme that is reminiscent of boutique hotels in South Florida. At the front desk we asked for a second blanket for the king bed, maintenance brought up a mattress cover as the second blanket after we ate supper( although houseke... Read more

Hilton has added a gem to their Curio collection. The inn retains the charm and character of a grand southern mansion with hotel amenities that today's travelers expect. The restaurant/bar with its surrounding veranda are the perfect place to enjoy a meal and/or drinks. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

This is listed as a Curio hotel which we thought was a level above regular Hilton hotels. In our opinion it does not meet the mark. First room - air conditioning did not flow into bedroom area or the other areas were freezing. Leak from ceiling vent in bathroom. Hotel staff moved us to another room. They wanted to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet is only on weekend. Wait staff and size of restaurant had difficulty handling number of occupants - generally long wait for service. ... The rooms are spacious for a historic hotel with high ceilings and great flat screen tvs and very clean. The restaurant, lounge and rooftop bar were fantastic. The pool is well maintained and in an oasis of botanicals. There's parking at the hotel and a shuttle that takes you to close by restaurants and great shopping. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

It is free but waiting for the valet to appear doesn't work for business travelers on a schedule.
