My Augusta business visit was wonderful & most aptly amplified by Hawthorn Suites most excellent staff, breakfast, facility and local walk to or drive options for dinner. Room service was always premium. Any requests were immediately accommodated. I highly recommend this facility and will definitely be their services in the near future. Enjoy, Ed H

The rooms were fairly clean. The owner on site wasn't very friendly. The hot breakfast left something to be desired. The eggs were powdered. The coffee was lukewarm. The bananas were mostly old and things were not kept restocked very much. The maids were very friendly as were the front desk people.

The lady that seems to run the place is ill tempered. The room service isn't adequate, and the Internet SUCKS. It's not the dirtiest place I've seen, but sometimes it smells bad. Not a place I'd stay again, or suggest to anyone else. Glad I'm checking out tomorrow

I booked into this hotel for two nights and it was adequate at the best. Front desk clerk was very friendly but that was the only high point of the stay. Rooms are dark and poorly lit. Beds are OK, but pillows were not. I even considered going out to buy my own pillows. TV was older and had a hum in volume of all channels. Second night there, I found a large roach on the telephone, however management said they had recently had an exterminator on site. The Breakfast offerings were slim at best an... Read more

TV had a bad hum on all channels Overall, the property needed some major work and facelift Bright spot was young man who checked me in on arriving. very pleasant

The shower curtain smelled so bad from mildew that it smelled up the entire bathroom. The rooms are spacious but more attention needs to be paid to cleaning.

Nothing negative to report, like any other typical hotel I have stayed at. The front desk personnel were kind and polite. Any questions asked were answered and recommendations were given and used.

I work out of town and had been paying about 15 less a day at another hotel but I had stayed here before so Knew it was worth the extra money.

Looks decent outside. It could use a lot of updates. For the price it was very run down. With this being said, I still rate it a 3 because the staff was awesome! My husband and I have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and this one comes in 2nd. Location wise it was easy to find not far from the highway and seemed to be a safe neighbor. We will definitely be back. We now know to plan our meals down the highway tho. Buy some groceries and foil cookware and utilize the little kitchen with stove fridge... Read more

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I was in town traveling with my Son who had recently became an Army Soldier. I was spending some much needed time with him along with the family while we dropped him off at Fort Gordon. The only good thing I can say about this experience was that the hot breakfast was decent. Other than that - everything sucked. No extra towels, no extra pillows, no extra blankets, no smiles... NOTHING!! Never again will I stay here!!

Poor wifi, dirty room + breakfast area + exercise room. Pool clean but small. Bed comfortable and sheets clean. Same stale biscuits, greasy sausage and cold eggs every morning. Overpriced. Nice staff at front desk

Our room was awesome. However, the timing was bad due to an electrical storm that fried the elevator for a couple days and the internet for one evening. The hotel staff was as accommodating as they could be. I regretted that I had to check out due to the fire alarm system being down, again because of the storms. I had my daughter staying with me and she was alone during the day while I was on duty on Fort Gordon. I had no way of her getting a hold of me in an emergency so I could not take th... Read more

The bathroom has cracked tiles, shifting all over, toilet does not flush well, Internet does not work period. No working elevator & fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night for no reason. We stood outside for couple of hours, stranded. We stayed here because we like Wyndham hotels, but not this one. This one is the worst!

The room was hot and air units were down due to a prior storm earlier in the week. The tv in sitting area was not working, and no cups in room. Great size and comfortable just some minor issues.

We were booked in this hotel for 10 days for business reasons, When we arrived at the hotel I thought, Ok this isnt terrible, the overall impression was this could be an OK hotel if the owners/staff cared. Checked into our room, it was filthy, there was still garbage from the previous occupants, everything was really dirty, including the bathroom that had head hair and body hair both in the tub and on the tub walls. We moved to another room that was still not clean but doable. The next day our ... Read more

The room was clean and really nice especially for the price. However, the customer service was terrible. The desk clerks made us feel extremely uncomfortable to ask for anything even towels and new room keys. It was uncomfortable to walk through the lobby as they would give uncomfortable looks or make comments like accusing us of leaving the Suana on that we never used. Whenever we asked for towels or a new room key (ours stopped working) they had an attitude and acting as they couldn't be bothe... Read more

Checked in to find half-eaten food in fridge, dirty clothes in dresser, one wall's outlets not working, and a generally musty smell to the room. Front desk took care of the food & laundry quickly & offered to change our room, so that was good, but obviously speaks to quality of cleaning services overall. First night was sweltering hot in the room, as the AC was set to 80F when we checked in & took all night to cool off. Breakfast in the morning was average, no issues but nothing special eithe... My hotel experience was a disaster from the very beginning. It began when my mom tried to pay for my fiance's room. The desk attendant told her that her card we declined. My mom called the card company who told her there was no problem on their end and it should work. They also told her that sometimes hotels disallow some cards to force the customers to pay cash. So she tried again and the credit card didn't work. So I used my debit card to book the room...and it worked fine. After our wedding,... Read more

I was in Augusta for a Army Retirement and had a very good stay at the hotel the Front desk ladies Andrea Wilkes and Felecia Butter they were excellent and I watched Andrea handle a situation very will because the gesture was very wrong but she did a good job .i will stay there again and would recommend it. Housekeeping needs a little help one day no service. It was ok because all I needed was towels.

The Hotel is older and outdated. No modern technological updates. In fact the internet was down, the cable TV was sketchy at best. The rooms were tidy but very dark. Poor lighting. The hot breakfast foods were very poor quality and cold. If you went to the pool you could not get back in through the same door. You had to walk through the parking lot to the front of the hotel. I would not stay there again if I did not have to.

Found the staff to be cordial, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and at night hotel was quiet and peaceful. However, the internet was down entire time after the first night, the TV had only major stations, PBS and a Christian station. Their business center was without internet service the whole time and you had to go to another hotel to print boarding passes. Explanation: lighting hit hotel building two weeks prior. Two weeks later and still no repairs? Also on check out day went f... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend, the rooms were nice, the bed comfortable but that was about it. Our airconditioner did not work, they had a fan in the bedroom blowing air but it was super hot. Our toilet was also not flushing and there was hair in the sinks and in the tubs which was gross. The next day we told the long-haired not to clean looking young man at the front desk that our toilet was not flushing and the air was not working and he said he would have it fixed right away. The reason I give this a three is because something was wrong with the key to get into the door wonderful guy overnight was great but he had to use the master key to get in and I couldn't go to the car and easily get back in. And the fire alarm the second night kept chirping. I was to tired to go to desk. I just think the hotel needs to check batteries and pay attention to the keys not working. The internet didn't work either. I will stay her again if these issues are fixed.
