A fantastic hotel in every aspect: Service was professional and friendly, the room was absolutely great - beds were very comfortable, the location is right across from the Fox Theater. In the evening my wife and I sat in front of the hotel drinking a little wine watching all of the activity on the street and at the Fox. Great stay!

- Location: A, lots of nightlife, across the street from theater, noms and more. - Hotel decor: renovated and it shows, very Gatsby if that makes sense - Staff: Front desk employee who checked us in was ready to go home and it showed. No interest in conversation, indulging out of towners regarding where to eat locally and when asked about a room with a view of the city, she confirmed it was nice. We were overlooking the roof of the building next door. Trevor, in Concierge was the only highlight.... Read more

We have always wanted tonsay at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. Dream realized! We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite #324 and it was a beautiful suite. It also had a sitting room with a chaise lounge to sit and read quietly. Our bedrooms faced the beautiful Fox Theater front entrance. We loved it. The pros: busy, loud street until about 2 am. No dishes or pots and pans in their nice kitchen. So that wouldn't have worked if our stay had been longer. We had trouble with hot water taking showers. Water... Read more

Stayed two nights as part of a wedding celebration. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, from front door to housekeeping, especially front desk. Stayed in a two bedroom suite with a family of four and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Hotel has neat history, so soak in the atmosphere while enjoying your stay. My husband and I stayed at the Georgian Terrace for our first time in Atlanta. This hotel was excellent and we were very pleased. The pool could use some updating but that's the only complaint. Our room was very clean, had a great view and was quiet. We enjoyed exploring the historic hotel as it was exceptionally beautiful! I would absolutely stay here again!

First, I booked the Penthouse on 05/24/2017. I contacted the hotel in advance, due to iPrefer member, requesting an early check-in at 2:00pm rather than 3:00pm. We, my sister and I, had reservations and needed time to unpack and get ready. Unfortunately, the suite was not ready and was advised they would contact me once the suite was available. This resulted in us losing our reservation and moving our reservation time to a two hours later slot. We had dinner at 9:00pm instead of the reserved 6:3... Read more

We stayed here before our family departed to the UK from Atlanta airport, we stayed a few days, and loved this hotel, it was one of the cheapest rates, and best location. We had 3 2BR suites, all rooms were clean, lovely, and spacious. The hotel itself is amazing, we especially loved the views and the pool on the rooftop. We walked to many locations on the street and just took in the beauty of all the spectacular architecture. Some of the family ordered room service for breakfast and said it w... Read more

My wife, 5 month old son and myself stayed in Atlanta for two nights and were so pleased with our stay. The manager, Eric, was very accommodating to our requests during our stay. The hands on service combined with the location of the hotel and décor of the interior made this a 5 star stay.

The last stay was in The PENTHOUSE (following a mix up when we were taken to a room occupied!?) but EVERY room is great and the staff makes it that way with PROMPT , COURTEOUS service. Milk and cookies are a MUST to have in your room at night that can be added when you reserve. IF you prefer healthier...the bottled water and fruit is also a nice welcoming! This is probably our fifth stay at the Georgian. It is always very nice. Checkin was a bit taxing. They couldn't find my reservation and the line was quite long. On the positive side, the room was great, quiet, and the view was wonderful. Ask for a round room. There aren't many but the view is awesome. We will be back for number 6. The door man Anthony is always so friendly.

We stayed on the way to and back from a touring trip. It was easy to find from the interstate. There was a choice of valet parking or self parking ( garage was next to hotel). We opted for valet at $30 a night which was only $5 more. Good range of restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby. Rooms were good size, and really clean. Staff were helpful. I would always avoid this hotel when visiting Atlanta because I assumed the heavy traffic from those visiting the Fox Theater over the years would show in the wear and tear of the hotel. However, based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try when attending a concert in June. The hotel was beautiful! The room was amazing (upgraded to a 2 BR suite - which was a great surprise since I was celebrating a major event)! The staff was very accommodating. I made the reservation in March and included... While this is not the fanciest hotel in Atlanta, it is well run, clean and the employees are well trained. Our family stayed in a two bedroom suite, which was very nice. There is lots to do in the nearby area, but be warned that there are homeless people, panhandlers and drunks/druggies everywhere. Coming from a smaller city, this was a bit of a shock to my kids.

We enjoyed our stay here. Due to a booking error, they did not have our prepaid room. But there was no disagreement or even discussion as the reservation clerk upgraded us to a wonderful suite. Even though there were renovations going on at the property, it was quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is convenient to a number of attractions and restaurants. The good - The suites are large , rooms are clean and showers are big. The bad- - the concierge is only at his desk from 1pm- 9pm. He is the one who drives the shuttle so if he's driving there is nobody at the desk. - they don't have the AC on in the hotel or the lobby! This is Atlanta in the summer! - the water pressure in the shower is terrible - if you are attending a show at the Americas Mart . It is NOT a walkable distance. It's about a 5 min cab ride.

The Georgian Terrace is an historic hotel with lots of potential. However, it falls far short of what it could be. It is not a 5 star hotel--more like 3.25 stars. I dare say, normally I don't say anything if a trip falls below expectation. My arrival was spot on and greeted quickly by valet and bell services. Brian was exceptional. Check in was quick and easy and I opted for the upgraded accommodations. However there was no mention when making reservations or check in to the construction going on. Wow, where to start? I stayed at The Georgian Terrace on business last week, and was incredibly impressed. The hotel itself is lovely, with all sorts of ornate details which speak to it's historic past. My king bed suite was simply awesome -- huge, comfortable, and well equipped (full kitchen, washer and dryer, etc.). Had a chance to visit a colleague who had a 3 bedroom suite and was totally blown away by how nice it was. The fitness center on the top level of the hotel is above average i... Read more

We stayed here because we were going to a concert at the Fox Theater. We were very happy with our stay. There were a few cons- parking was $25 a day (I believe that is correct) and the room was not ready when we got there but they made up for it by giving us a corner room (if you can get a corner room, do it! It is BEAUTIFUL!) They also gave us drink vouchers. The room was clean and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I spent the weekend here while attending the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game and had a wonderful stay. Our suite was very comfortable and well apportioned. The staff, from check in to check out, was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The steps the hotel takes to insure access only by guests during time periods when there are multiple events going on in the city are well planned and effective. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend, and we will be back.

Historic Hotel. Modern renovated room with tubs removed - only showers and "updated" furnishings. Across from The Fox - great Atlanta venue, but they aren't certain what to do with the spectacular building with limitless possibilities. Current rate of $175 per night should be $375 if it were being fully utilized . And it should be 5 star, not 4 star. The concierge, Trevor, is terrific.

The Georgian Terrace is a grand hotel built in 1910 right in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It appears as if the hotel was converted into condos since many of the rooms were suites with 1 bed/1 bath, 2 bed/2 bath or 3 bed/3 bath with full-size kitchens and living quarters. It appears to be operating as a hotel but the rooms appear as if they were once used as residences.
