Pros: -Rooms are beautiful - all new fixtures in the bathrooms. -Hot breakfast each morning was fantastic. -Only two blocks from Civic Center MARTA station -Only a couple of blocks from Peachtree Rd. NE where many restaurants and entertainment venues can be found. -Walkable to MLK Memorial (slightly more than 1 mile) -New owner/managers are continuing to do much remodeling of the place Cons -No lighted signage and neighborhood is not well-lighted, so this short 4-story building is difficult t... We stayed three nights. The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay. I made the reservations a few months before our stay so I did not know this. We got woken up every morning to the sound of hammers and saws. Also, our cable was out when we got up on Sunday morning. We told the front desk & figured it would be back on when returned that evening, but it wasn't. The front desk told us they were on the phone with the cable company at the time we let them know again but it wa... Read more

I agree with a previous review that the hotel is not easy to find, we were directly opposite yet still missed it! Apart from that the hotel was great, the remodelling did not affect us, check-in was easy and we had a great recommendation about the trolleybus to the Martin Luther King centre. WiFi, well appointed room, good breakfast next morning, would stay here again.

Super friendly staff! They were polite and considerate. I'm so glad we stayed here during renovation. Once completed we probably won't be able to afford it. Very short walk to the aquarium from here and several restaurants even closer. The courtyard is beautiful and the morning hot breakfast was delicious! It's not 5 stars by the usual standards but because of value for what we paid. Delighted with this special hotel!

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. Wonderful hot style breakfast buffet was available for breakfast. Was within walking distance to many things downtown. Would definitly recommend to others. Great stay.

I liked the location and the room service. It was hard to locate the parking though. I didn't like someone was singing even late night, but then that person stopped (thank god). I wasn't happy about parking fees which I found out after I booked my stay. Plenty of choices in the breakfast. I enjoyed my stay overall.

Selected this location after reading many reviews about many hotels on trip advisor and deciding how much I wanted to drive around Atlanta and pay for parking vs being close enough to walk to certain "places to see." The hotel is currently under going major renovations, so it is not visually stunning right now. I will say the positives include the following: location within walking distance to aquarium, Coca-Cola World, Children's Museum and much more, On site parking(+small vehicles a plus), fr... The parking is a bit confusing as you need to check in before you are given directions to the parking lot which was on the next block and very secure. The front staff were very nice and welcoming. Our room was very dated and dark but was clean and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and hot (not luke warm). Whilst we were there the place was undergoing some renovations which are a positive as its starting to look tired but this not affect our stay at all. The location is really good, within walking d... This hotel is no longer a Best Western hotel and has been taken over this month and is being upgraded carefully. Rooms are satisfactory and the free WiFi works and you can print tickets in the office room. Good breakfast and good location and a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

The court yard is pleasant and the location is within walking distance to many of Atlanta's downtown attractions. The front desk staff were very polite and accommodating. This is an older hotel that has been remodeled and our stay would have been perfect if our room had been clean. The location is convenient to downtown attractions and the breakfast was good. The parking deck is a block away.

The door to enter room(315) would stick, had a dank smoke smell to it. Toilet overflows easily, half the lights in the room do not work, and the mini fridge did not work like it was suppose to. Basically this place should be a MOTEL instead of considered a hotel. Morning kitchen staff for breakfast is rude and boss towards guests. Bad experience of all. Find somewhere else to stay.

Staff was very pleasant. Paid for a double room received a king. Room had some updates but need clear repairs to shower area (shower pan peeling). There's no bathtub. Had to miss breakfast as it did not start until 7:30 and I had to leave the hotel at 7. I did not voice any of these concerns during the stay because I was only there for one night!

If you are ok with a standard motel level of quality and service, then this is a good value for downtown Atlanta. It definitely feels like a motel with a slight facelift. If you want upscale quality or a hotel experience, then this is NOT for you. -=-=-=-=-=- Detailed breakdown: PROS: +Breakfast is a good value and is comprehensive. We stayed here to attend a music festival at Centennial Park. The location is an extremely easy walk to the aquarium, world of coke, Centennial Park and the civil rights museum, and reasonably close to CNN. If you're looking for trendy restaurants and nightlife, Midtown is a bit more your speed. Parking under the building was available for us, but the lot is small and might be full depending on the hotel's occupancy. The hotel was under significant renovations. But the highlight of my stay at this hotel was the awesome front desk clerk by the name of MARSHA !!!!!! <3 she went out of her way to help us jump start our car, since we had been going crazy looking for someone to help us for hours and had to go buy cables but thankfully she made it all worth it, thank you again MARSHA you rock !!!!... One, the hotel is undergoing expect the hassle that goes with that. On the positive side, only nice things can be said about the desk staff. That being true, the issues were with the room itself. Stayed for 5 nights by myself. Great location, five minutes walk from restaurants and subway. Room is big and comfortable although felt a bit unclean at first. Breakfast was good. Overall great value for money but be prepared for a motel experience rather than to a boutique hotel as described in some places and as shown in photos on their site (I know business photos can be misleading but I've never been in a place the photos were so deceiving...)
