The hotel itself is ok, though pervaded by a skunky smell, but the surrounding area is dangerous. If you want to do laundry (at $2 per load wash then dry), you have go to Riley's strip club for quarters. Went out in a group of 3 to walk to the nearby McDonalds and were accosted by drug dealers twice and a drunk that wanted to fight. The hotel can't help this, but if you want to go anywhere, even within visual distance, DRIVE don't walk.

This newly renovated Motel is well kept, has a friendly staff and I felt very secure there. Even though the property has no continental breakfast they had great coffee and allowed us to fill our own mugs. The price was great and I would stay there again

First off. The hotel is in a bad area. But I never felt unsafe. That was the only downside. The front desk was very helpful and attentive to my requests. And housekeeping did a superb job. It's not a Hyatt but I did not pay Hyatt rates. It is reasonably priced. I plan on staying there again when I return to Atlanta.

Outside noises everywhere, someone came into the room and told us it was their room to get out. I felt unsafe from the moment I got there - so I took all my belongings and left to find another location to lay my head down. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel wasn't in best area as there was a bit of loitering but didn't feel concerned about safety. I'm not sure the desk staff was as helpful as they could have been. As a Redicard member I'm supposed to get a free bottle of water. Not only did I have to ask for it but was told they were out of water for the weekend. It would have been nice for them to offer something but they didn't seem to care. The hallways and rooms were worn. The bed was comfortable but not what I expected for a Superi... Read more

Booked it because my daughter has a dog. This was her first time moving by herself, and had a car full of her belongings. Upon arrival noticed people just hanging out in the parking lot, and when she was walking to the office was approached by a man who told her she better take the plates off the car as there were 6 robberies in the past week. She was told by the desk clerk that the security guard comes on duty at 9 pm. She felt very unsafe and we found another hotel.

Booked late at night online with my wife, pulled in around 11:30pm to be confronted with people everywhere drunk and fighting in around the front of the hotel. Pulled up out the front and my wife was too scared to even get out of the car, to be honest this was the worst hotel I have ever pulled up out the front of, I cannot comment on the inside of the hotel because I didn't make it that far and glad I didn't. I have never driven away from a hotel so fast before. I didn't even worry me that the ... Read more

While on vacation my wife and I decided to take the kids to Six Flags since we were passing through Atlanta on our way to Charlotte. This was unexpected so we did not make a reservations for a hotel. We saw a sign for Red Roof and decided to stay. At first we were a little bit hesitant. At the front desk was a extremely nice young lady that checked us in. Rooms were decent and value was good. Our stay was very pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The hotel was nice and the security guard they have make you feel safe I would definitely come back in a few months to go on another six flag trip. And I love their transportation system they'll take you downtown in to some other places you'll have to go so you won't have to spend all your time driving after you get in town.

The cashier (Gabriella) was excellent. Even though it was very busy and the lobby was crowded, she took her time and made sure all my check-ins were accommodated. Even the next day she made sure all my (4) rooms had towels and everything. Fantastic job. She need praising and a raise.

I love the convenience, I love the employees it's like a family environment there. I stay there weekly since being evicted out of my home and I can honestly say that this has become my second home. I can leave out to work and come back knowing that all my items are right where I left them, even cash I know this because I love to test people and they passed. You want comfort, privacy, safety, and a friendly environment this is the hotel for you.

When we walked into the lobby, all you could smell was a marijuana smell. The carpet was stained. There were prostitues across the street at the Convenience Store. The only good side to this stay was the hotel front desk. She was so nice, and was very helpful. However I would never stay there again. I did not feel safe, due to the part of town it was in. There were beer bottles, and trash in and around the building.

I foolishly booked this room based on the online photos and a few online reviews. The neighborhood is far from what I would call safe. The parking lot was full of broken glass. The carpet in the hallway was old and stained. People were hovering around the front door and lobby for no apparent reason. I'm not even entirely sure they were guests of the hotel. I absolutely did not feel safe even parking my car there, much less staying there. In fact, I checked out after circling the parking lot and ... Read more

We visited Atlanta for a couple of days with my husband and two kids. We made a reservation for a non smoking, but you can smell smoke all over. Our clothes smelled smoke. The carpet was stained, the base of the main table was broken. The bathroom curtain was tear off and we have a leek in our toilet. The corridor was full of trash, dirty sheets were all the time at the corridors. We felt unsafe.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole the front desk supv who made my stay better. When I arrived I was very disappointed with my room , it was dated and not very clean so Nicole changed my room to a much nicer one. If it had not been for Nicole I would have checked out as soon as i say the first room. But on another note this hotel is in the HOOD. There were a ton of unsavory characters in the vicinity and a strip club right down the street, not a family atmosphere to say the lest. Being alone ... Read more

Nestled between two strip clubs, this hotel is definitely one of the worst.. Sheets and towels are not cleaned. Nor will they give you an extra one when asked for. Although, we did not need to worry about not having a razor because a razor blade was conveniently left for us on the night stand. The only nice thing was the tv.

Between the "working girls" standing on the sidewalk right outside the front doors with their "managers" within feet of them, and the condition of the room, I was scared to get out of my car!! Prostitution, drugs, and this was just during a 4 hour wait in our van, past check in time and that was after we reserved online only the morning before, only to be told there was no room. None of the staff seemed to take their jobs seriously, yet they were rude and completely ignored me for 10 minutes. Can't report on the rooms we didn't make it that far

I visited the Red roof midtown Atlanta and it was horrible. They couldn't find my reservation at first and then put me in a room with cigarette burns in the bedspread! And then,my socks kept getting lost!the railings in the lift was broken. The bathroom was a little cubby hole. I could go on and on. I could not wait to get out of there.

We had reservations for this hotel due to the hurricane and they gave our reservations away and acted like it was not their problem. The hotel clerk acted like it was not his problem and he basically told us to hit the road and that it was not his problem. He also said that the hotel over booked rooms. I recommend it to anyone who may be traveling or just wanna come stay by 6 flags to be close to the park and at decent price. The manager Nicole made sure I had everything I needed at check in. The rest of the staff Miesha, Chantel, and Natasha where very friendly and were able to get me everything I needed from extra towels to blankets.. Will definitely be coming back again...

Realizing this is an independent franchise, if the corporate office of Red Roof would visit they would not want their name on this hotel. When we got there, unsavory looking characters were loitering in front of the building which is across the street, but on the same side as a liquor store and strip joint. Parking lot was old and cracked and litter filled. I went in and was told I couldn't get keys to my room because something was wrong with the programmer or the locks and they couldn't get bat... This hotel made what would normally have been an unavailable room available during the hurricane. I was so grateful. My 87 year old father and I were traveling on an unrelated reason from north to south and didn't think about the hurricane evacuees taking every room from Kentucky to Florida on I-75. At 1:30 in the morning, the room was clean, the bed was soft, and the staff was very welcoming. The room did need a little maintenance but it was not a safety concern.
