My son and I have stayed here multiple times, but only for attending the Atlanta Braves games. Turner field is a short walk away, and there is easy access for departure to the interstates. We went to 3 games over Memorial Day weekend, and stayed 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday). The rooms are relatively clean, but could be cleaner. The nightstand drawers were dirty, and the other drawers in the room were falling apart, so we didn't use. This year the hotel had finally added flat screen TV's! Si... Read more

My husband and I found the room to be very clean, minus all the stains on the furniture. Our one complaint is that the situation with the elevators was pretty dire at all hours of the day. At one point, we waited close to ten minutes for an elevator. We liked the free shuttle service they provided, although a shuttle to the airport would have been wonderful as well. GREAT LOCATION TO EVERYTHING!

I may have just been unlucky, but when I happened to arrive the check-in process was in total chaos and disarray. It took nearly 30 minutes just to register. In all other ways the hotel met or exceeded my expectations. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable, the climate controls effective and the amenities very adequate. Self-parking in the underground garage is an additional $18 but that is neither unusual or terribly expensive for an in-city hotel. One reason I chose this hotel was that i... Read more

I can honestly say that the hotel staff, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers to the restaurant/bar staff to the cleaning staff, were some of the nicest and most pleasant hotel employees I have ever encountered. The rooms were clean, parking ample, pool well-maintained, and it is located amazingly close to numerous tourist sites. It has had a lot of recent updates, so some older reviews may not be as accurate and I am told that the current management plans on investing further in updatin... Read more

The hotel itself was about exactly what I expected as far as the property itself. It's a long 2 blocks from Turner Field, an older property which would benefit from some additional investment. On the other hand the price was reasonable to lower side of reasonable for location and it was clean. Often ran out of towels, The hotel restaurant had staggered times often did not have food items on the menu. The Lobby Bar closed between 11 and 12 nightly. Even though shuttle service is available, if the hotel is FULL, 1 - 2 drivers is NOT enough. All exits accept the front are locked after 11 p.m.. The MAIN problem is they do not have ENOUGH staff on duty. Our check out time was 12 but we were locked out of our room at 11. It was a real unusual experience. The hotel is kind of isolated.

The room was nice and comfortable with a great view but could have used a good steam cleaning as there were spots/stains in the carpet and on lounge chair. I am a diamond member so sometimes the "nicer" hotels will give you a goody bag upon checkin. The bag was not ready so the guy said he would "personally deliver" it to my room. We got to our room and set all of our stuff down and traveled to TopGolf. We put the "do not disturb" tab on the door but when we returned that night, the goody bag was on the table and items were missing out of our room including my wife's medicine. I'll try to make this as simple as possible. We stayed here to be close to downtown for DragonCon but to save money on the downtown hotel prices. Overall it was definitely worth it. We saved about 70-150 a night compared to hotels just a mile and a half away, and an uber ride to downtown was 7 dollars at most. So we saved hundreds of dollars by staying here. The hotel is VERY basic. This isn't a bad thing at all, just be aware. For example, our room with two queen beds had one lamp to light th... Read more

When we notified the staff they immediately moved us w/ complimentary tickets to the restaurant & bar. The breakast should be free to everybody, because it is basically free continental qualify. Parking should be free to guests. The shuttle is nice, because it takes you anywhere downtown. I'll be looking for a different hotel next time I'm in town.

Made for a lot of long walks and taxi rides, so this was a welcome treat. The parking charge was a little annoying, seems a bit greedy to charge your guests to park in the hotel parking lot. We stayed here during the final season of Turner Field. Although we have made many trips to Turner Field before, we had not stayed at this hotel before. It is close walking distance to the stadium. The hotel is a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. However, the employees are top notch. Everyone who interacted with us was happy, courteous, and helpful. We thought it would be rough because of the start. They said they could not find my reservation at first. I had it printed out and... Read more

The front desk staff was very friendly and nice. Our rooms were not cleaned very good and we had to ask for more toilet paper and coffee. Our room was not cleaned at all on 11/12/16. On 11/14 we went outside to get our Uber and the maintenance man was mopping the side walk and I fell down on both of my knees. Not sure it is a good idea for him to be mopping the sidewalks when people are coming out of the hotel.

The front of the top drawer of the chest of drawers fell off and pinched my husband's fingers. The third drawer wouldn't close. The toilet ran off and on. The knob controlling water flow on the shower didn't work properly. We were told by the night staff that breakfast was included. The day staff refused to honor this. Only after handing them a list of repairs needed for our room did they give us the free breakfast promised the night before. Service at breakfast was poor. When I sent back my egg... Read more

Disappointed no Microwave or Fridg in room. Had to hold handle down to flush toilet. Icemaker not working on my floor, and when I found another one, the location was in a dark secluded scary area. Loved the TV and its channels. The food was great too! Security personnel was very helpful.

Comforter had hair all over it, there was hair and a small bit of blood on one of the washcloths, seven dirty glasses on a table and a chicken bone in the floor in the hallway from at least the night before (we left at noon and it wasn't cleaned up and there was no housekeeping around), the lady at the counter was rude (two men were nice), and we couldn't get hot water in the shower. Fourth time staying there for the half marathon that starts a block away and it will be the last time. I was t... Read more

Although I had a problem with the food service at the hotel restaurant, the Food Manager was very professional and understanding about the issue and gave me a gratis coupon for breakfast the next morning to make up for the service issue. All staff at this location (with the one untrained young exception) were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend the location to others.

I have to say management did a great job in taking care of us during our stay. The only qualm I have is about the breakfast. Management specifically told our waitress to make fresh cracked eggs for our table. The liquid eggs makes us sick. When the eggs arrived I looked at them and knew they were the same liquid eggs used in the buffet. I repeatedly asked if the eggs were fresh cracked eggs and the waitress said yes. For about $19 tax included, a customer should be able to have eggs the way they... Read more

-Hallways were filthy, food, trash, etc all down hallway. -Sheets were dirty, I'm guessing they were not changed between the previous occupants and us. -They promise a free cocktail in evening from 530-630pm but then when I went to bar they said they didn't know what we were talking about -Housekeeping didn't ever clean room while we stayed -They gave us a coupon for free continental breakfast but restaurant wasn't even open due to remodel -Water took a good 20 minutes to warm up for shower -L... While attending a conference in Atlanta I had booked 2 rooms. When I had called to add another room to my stay I was shocked when I was told that my reservation was made for October of 2017. After being transferred to 5 different people in one phone call (actually 5 different people. I counted.) they finally gave up and cancelled my old reservations and made 3 new ones. When we did arrive we were pleased with how nice the inside of the hotel looked in the lobby. With the exception of a few lou... Read more
