Delta left me stranded in Atlanta after flight made me miss connection. Delta have a discount to this hotel. The shuttle ride from the airport was quick, as the driver must have been doing near 90 on highway. Hotel staff was friendly and my check in was quick. The room was clean, although there were rust stains in the tub. Furnishings were very dated. Sleep was ok, although room was loud, as walls must be a half inch thick. Breakfast was good, but make sure not to sit in the Greyhound Bus t... Read more

I loved the location of this hotel, simply because of my view, I could see the runway and see aircrafts landing and taking off, that was my treat. The front desk staff were exceptional friendly and very accommodating, made me feel so much at home. The breakfast was good simply because they had a bit of a variety, such as eggs yogurt and waffles. I loved the bed it was big and comfortable. The bedroom was not as comfortable as I would have like it to be because the air conditioning system is old ... Read more

This facility is located within a business park environment located just south of the airport. The hotel staff couldn't be nicer ! Check-in was fast and smooth,The room was very clean and spacious. Airport shuttle service was fast and direct. The only downside is that the only nearby restaurant is a McDonald's ! But fortunately, the hotel has a restaurant and bar on site to satisfy all hunger and thirst ! Complimentary breakfast served every morning. I will definitely stay at this facility agai... Read more

If you are selecting a hotel based on the park and fly option, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I found the shuttle service to be completely useless, as despite calling twice and waiting an hour, in total, our shuttle driver never came to pick us back up. Had to hitch a ride with a kindhearted driver of a completely different hotel so that we could go get our car. When we arrived, we found the shuttle in front of the hotel, parked, with no driver in it. We were exhausted after a long day... Read more

My stay at this hotel was in two parts, one of which was planned, one of which was last minute. Due to a missed connection from a late plane, we ended up stranded in Atlanta for a night. It was already dark and we were tired and frustrated, but since I had the contact info and directions for this hotel because we would be staying on our return trip, I took a room there for the night. Check in was fine. The woman at the desk was very pleasant. Our room was on an upper floor and was very quie... Read more

This hotel is just great..the staff is why I stay here... They are so accommodating, kind and giving... The restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is well stocked and again the staff in the restaurant is amazing. I am a smoker and it is nice to find a hotel where a customer can smoke in the privacy of their own room...sure the hotel is a little dated in the furnishings...but it is very clean and comfortable and also convenient to the Atlanta airport!!! I've been staying at this property for years when it was the Quality Conference Hotel with Choice Hotels, but this was the first time as a Howard Johnson. One of the two elevators was broken, so it made it difficult to move around the hotel. One of the two washing machines was broken and has been broke for over a week now. But my biggest beef was when I was trying to check out. I went downstairs at 530am to get checked out, get my receipt, put in my rewards number before taking the 6am shu... Read more

I was traveling to ATL for business and was stuck at the airport overnight due to a flight cancellation. This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. There were stains on the carpet. The room smelled strongly of mildew. The free wifi was excruciatingly slow (think dial-up slow). The worst part was that the staff at the front desk was unable to give me a proper receipt. They handed me my credit card slip, but told me that they don't do the full sheet printout that all other hotels give. I sta... Read more

Following an international flight cancellation we were sent to this the airline. After waiting for more than one hour for the shuttle bus we finally paid one of the other shuttle bus drivers to drop us off here. We joined the line at about number thirty and finally checked in at around 10:45pm. The restaurant closed at 11:30 but that was academic because there was no food left by 11. We were told to "send out for pizza or something similar" and after waiting until after midnight we we... Read more

I would not have chosen this hotel but was given a voucher from the airline. The shuttle only runs every half hour from zone 1 at the hotel shuttle area outside baggage claim. Check in was a nightmare. It took on average nine minutes for each guest to check in due to an antiquated check in system. Plus the phone rang off the hook. There was one person working the desk and answering the phone. There were about ten families in line so you can imagine the discontent. The room was down a thre... Read more

The hotel itself is somewhat rundown but I guess, acceptable. Things of note are sideways bathtub spout (not supposed to be that way), leaky bathroom faucet, poor wifi but breakfast was OK. The main issue is that they don't seem to take their airport shuttle service seriously. The shuttles I took were both so full that we had to leave people behind. I am torn about posting this review. The hotel was perfectly adequate and we had no problems with the stay. Due to a mechanical issue and a missed connection, I was placed at this hotel by my airline. My experience started poorly when the shuttle had not appeared more than an hour after first calling, and when I and others called again to check, we were repeatedly told it was on its way. This is a hotel in need of help. It has apparently been recently taken over as a Howard Johnson hotel, but was formerly a "Quality Hotel". It is, in fact, a hotel with an identity crisis. The large sign on the freeway is still a Quality Hotel sign, so that was very confusing from the start, as we were obviously looking for the Howard Johnson's.
