Went to Atlanta for business and stayed at the Omni. When I arrived, I was told there was no reservation in my name. I apparently had booked it for the following Monday by mistake. The hotel was full due to a conference but Deborah at the front desk was able to get me a room. The hotel is centrally located with attentive staff . Price was very reasonable for an Omni and I will definitely stay there again.

I came for a convention at the Omni, and I am very glad I took flat shoes. My room was in the north tower, and the convention center was almost a half a mile walk. There are plenty of nice restaurants around and fun attractions in a walking distance. Great view from the room.

Average across the board. My room was by the elevators and I could hear the elevator beeps all night long. Vending machine wasn't replenished at all during my 5-night stay, cash slot broken and had to go to other floors. Should have more options for snacks on premise because there isn't much in the surrounding area and what is on-site closes early. Tried to call for room service and they left me on hold 10 minutes.

The staff was all very nice and helpful, but as usual, the bed was as hard as a rock. Surprisingly, so were the pillows. The black-out drapes were good, but make sure you check was is going on locally before booking. There was a "music festival" going on across the street for 3 of our 5 nights and the cacophony slamming against the windows of the hotel was deafening until 11pm each night.

Stayed here for a conference - during the music festival. Was in a nice room. Big clean bathroom with comfortable beds. The only problem was the room was on a low floor facing the music festival. When I requested a new room the friendly desk staff Dominique said all the available rooms were facing the music festival. She apologized and asked if there was anything we could do. She then suggested dinner and gave us a certificate to a wonderful dinner at the Prime Meridian restaurant. Thanks for ma... Read more

I traveled to Atlanta to attend a conference that was held at the Omni. From the second I walked in the door at the Omni, I received 5-Star treatment from everyone...from the Valet guy at the cab-stand to the front desk to my housecleaning crew. These folks couldn't have been any more professional and welcoming if they tried. They truly exhibited what it means to have 'Southern Hospitality.' I would highly recomend the Omni to anyone looking for a lodging choice in Downtown Atlanta.

My recent stay at the Omni had no glaring negatives. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent to the conference I was attending, however be aware it is almost a mile to walk to the Georgia World Conference Center. This can be daunting for disabilities. The room was overpriced accordingly for the location. It was clean, but definitely needed some updating. The bed was very hard, sloping to the edges and uncomfortable. The company that I was working for booked this hotel for me. They directly paid the bill for the room only. I would not have chosen this hotel. Very expensive for the service you get. Valet parking is the only option at $35 per day (I understand that parking in Atlanta is at a premium). The bell staff is just plain rude and made me feel as if they were doing me a favor. At 8pm on my 2nd night there my room was yet to be serviced - I had to request service. On two occasions the coffee in my r... Read more

I really enjoy having the restaurants within walking distance such as on the bottom floor of the hotel. The room itself was equip with every thing you need to stay the night or however long you stay. Walking distance to World of Coke, Atlanta Aquarium, College Hall of Fame, and the Park.

I booked this room on Groupon and I absolutely loved the accommodations for the money spent. Very clean rooms. Wish they offered free breakfast but there were plenty eateries within walking distance. The staff is very professional and the hotel itself is very attractive. But because its in the downtown area make sure you plan for your parking expense.

With over 1000 rooms, this place is big! Good for business meetings and being downtown, rooms are large and comfortable. Lobby bar and easy restaurants make it too easy to stay in and just use facility offerings. However, many really great and very friendly staff make it "cozy". They walk through the hotel greeting guests, saying hello and offering help, sometimes unexpected but very wonderful. Ask a question and they go out of their way.

Our trip started off horrible because of some issues with Groupon, so checking in was a little confusing at first, but the Omni got us squared away. The star of the Omni is actually a gentleman by the name of Rebert Price. He demonstrated the type of service I would expect at a 4 diamond hotel and then some. Customer service to me isn't about a perfect experience, but one where as a customer, you feel like your requests, needs, and concerns are all considered and respected. Rebert was kind, prof... I reccomend calling the hotel several times and asking for the front desk, not just the answering service. We were given bad info about how many could fit per room with the help of extra roll in cots. We arrived and were told that we were wrong after planningour entire trip around these rooms. Our issues were resolved, but avoid the headache and ask to talk to the front desk and NOt the answering service that works offsite~ Otherwise great stay!

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I have always loved staying at Omni properties but found this one to be extremely dirty in the common areas and hallways. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, there were stains all over the walls and the room smelled like someone smoked in it. Definitely not worth the amount of money you will spend here. The electrical outlets in the room and the AC barely worked. It's in need of some major work.

To be fair, I don't think the hotel was adequately prepared for the amount of people attending this particular conference. The good: Staff at reception and room service really super - the rooms on the north side of the hotel were recently renovated so were acceptable. When I had the scary dustball incident (see below) the front desk guy apologized and immediately moved me, he was awesome. The bad: The hotel appears run down from the lobby throughout, to include the main restaurant. Seemed to be very understaffed overall. The ugly: I was initially assigned a room on the south side - beds were incredibly lumpy, ... Read more

This place is literally great. I've stayed here on two different occasions and loved each one. The location is prime, the comfort level is on high, and the staff are top notch professional hospitality masters! You pretty much have to pay the per night valet fee, but that is not a deal maker for me. The rooms are beautiful, and if you book one overlooking Centennial Park, you'll be in for a treat at night.

I have multiple large stains all over my carpet and the place is just dingy. But none of that matters - what matters is the beds (small very small beds) are hard as a rock. It took me 4 hours last night to fall asleep - I was only able to after I put all the pillows on my bed and laid on top of them. This made my 6am mee... Read more

I was here on business but decided to stay an extra day and it was wonderful. We had a corner view of the park and city and it was awesome. The hotel was within waking distance to all restaurants and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was good, service was great from the time we arrived until we left. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Room is good. Valet parking is great. The only annoying thing is requiring that using a card for the elevator. Place is very busy. It is great that it is in the heart of the city. It it easy to get around by foot.

Some other reviewers had already mentioned about how aging this hotel was. I couldn't agree for less. The only reason I chose this hotel was for its location - it's in the CNN Center and near everything. I used the restaurants and the food was not bad. There's a large food court at the CNN Center where you can find major fast food and coffee chains, so plenty for you to choose from. People at the front desk were very nice and eager to help. There's a big plus.

I chose the Omni Atlanta at the CNN Center due to its proximity to the Convention Center since I was traveling here for a large conference and wanted to be as close as possible without worrying about transportation. The problems with the hotel started before I even arrived! I booked the hotel 7 months in advance and confirmed the reservation 3 weeks before arrival. To my dismay, as I‚??m about to leave for the airport I received an email that my room had been cancelled by the hotel. The reasonin... Read more

My room in the South Tower had a balcony with an interesting view overlooking the CNN Newsroom and food court while attending a five day conference at the hotel. The staff were very welcoming throughout the complex. My call to remove the feather pillows due to my allergies led to a prompt response. The room was clean and comfortable, but for some reason the hotel does not provide a clock. Thus, when waking at night it is necessary to turn on the light to locate a wristwatch, phone or other devic... Read more

My wife and I have traveled throughout the South East during our 30 years together, but we have never received the kind of service that we received on our visit to Atlanta on October 20th. We were welcomed by very friendly valet, who was professional while entertaining with his interesting accent that my wife and I tried to identify, but his reply was he wanted to learn how to speak Southern, which we both found charming. The facility is clean and welcoming without being ostentatious. The lobby ... Read more

Don't bother requesting anything beforehand, this company does not honor your request. Do not use the valet, overpriced and the staff is incompetent. There is $10 parking one block away, park there instead. Very disappointed.

Nothing here is free. For the price I get more out of a lower cost business suite hotel chain. Food is pricey for the quality, wifi is extra. The only reason to stay here rather than a different area hotel is if you are visiting the convention center.

Very large hotel that is located a short walk to World Congress Convention Center. The rooms are nice, but many do not have an outside view. They view the inside of a shopping mall. I would recommend a room with outside view.

We visited Atlanta for Spring Break. We chose the Omni because of its location in the downtown area and because it's connected to CNN and Phillips Arena. We had a nice room and the staff were all very friendly from the front desk to the concierge to room service. We saw a Hawks game and were able to walk through the hotel complex to get there. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!

I have stayed in both the South Tower and North Tower. I enjoyed the South Tower room more. Closer to the bars and food and the atrium at CNN Center. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Drinks in the bar were relish - and they are open late. I would stay here again and again. Valet is a little pricey - but fast at getting your car.

I have stayed here a number of times previously. My industry has an annual trade show during this time of year. The room is "tired". The furniture looks like it has been here a while. Stains on the carpet and chair. At the front desk I asked where the shuttle buses for the show were loading. I would not recommend the Atlanta Omni at the CNN Center - at least not the side we stayed in (older side, I think, closest to CNN rather than the convention center). Room was dated. Dim. Air conditioner blew strongly across the head of my bed. Had to sleep with my head at the foot of bed. Tub was peeling. No microwave. Coffee pot didn't work properly the first morning. Didn't get the room serviced properly one day (stayed four nights for a total of almost $1200). Definitely not worth the money.
