Went to Atlanta for business and stayed at the Omni. When I arrived, I was told there was no reservation in my name. I apparently had booked it for the following Monday by mistake. The hotel was full due to a conference but Deborah at the front desk was able to get me a room. The hotel is centrally located with attentive staff . Price was very reasonable for an Omni and I will definitely stay there again.

I came for a convention at the Omni, and I am very glad I took flat shoes. My room was in the north tower, and the convention center was almost a half a mile walk. There are plenty of nice restaurants around and fun attractions in a walking distance. Great view from the room.

Average across the board. My room was by the elevators and I could hear the elevator beeps all night long. Vending machine wasn't replenished at all during my 5-night stay, cash slot broken and had to go to other floors. Should have more options for snacks on premise because there isn't much in the surrounding area and what is on-site closes early. Tried to call for room service and they left me on hold 10 minutes.

The staff was all very nice and helpful, but as usual, the bed was as hard as a rock. Surprisingly, so were the pillows. The black-out drapes were good, but make sure you check was is going on locally before booking. There was a "music festival" going on across the street for 3 of our 5 nights and the cacophony slamming against the windows of the hotel was deafening until 11pm each night.

Stayed here for a conference - during the music festival. Was in a nice room. Big clean bathroom with comfortable beds. The only problem was the room was on a low floor facing the music festival. When I requested a new room the friendly desk staff Dominique said all the available rooms were facing the music festival. She apologized and asked if there was anything we could do. She then suggested dinner and gave us a certificate to a wonderful dinner at the Prime Meridian restaurant. Thanks for ma... Read more

I traveled to Atlanta to attend a conference that was held at the Omni. From the second I walked in the door at the Omni, I received 5-Star treatment from everyone...from the Valet guy at the cab-stand to the front desk to my housecleaning crew. These folks couldn't have been any more professional and welcoming if they tried. They truly exhibited what it means to have 'Southern Hospitality.' I would highly recomend the Omni to anyone looking for a lodging choice in Downtown Atlanta.

My recent stay at the Omni had no glaring negatives. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent to the conference I was attending, however be aware it is almost a mile to walk to the Georgia World Conference Center. This can be daunting for disabilities. The room was overpriced accordingly for the location. It was clean, but definitely needed some updating. The bed was very hard, sloping to the edges and uncomfortable. The company that I was working for booked this hotel for me. They directly paid the bill for the room only. I would not have chosen this hotel. Very expensive for the service you get. Valet parking is the only option at $35 per day (I understand that parking in Atlanta is at a premium). The bell staff is just plain rude and made me feel as if they were doing me a favor. At 8pm on my 2nd night there my room was yet to be serviced - I had to request service. On two occasions the coffee in my r... Read more

My recent stay at the Omni was for the Leadsonline Conference and to start with the valet parking was very professional. The front desk clerk was very courtesy and professional during my entire stay. I really enjoy having the restaurants within walking distance such as on the bottom floor of the hotel. The room itself was equip with every thing you need to stay the night or however long you stay. Walking distance to World of Coke, Atlanta Aquarium, College Hall of Fame, and the Park.

I booked this room on Groupon and I absolutely loved the accommodations for the money spent. Very clean rooms. Wish they offered free breakfast but there were plenty eateries within walking distance. The staff is very professional and the hotel itself is very attractive. But because its in the downtown area make sure you plan for your parking expense.

With over 1000 rooms, this place is big! Good for business meetings and being downtown, rooms are large and comfortable. Lobby bar and easy restaurants make it too easy to stay in and just use facility offerings. However, many really great and very friendly staff make it "cozy". They walk through the hotel greeting guests, saying hello and offering help, sometimes unexpected but very wonderful. Ask a question and they go out of their way.

Our trip started off horrible because of some issues with Groupon, so checking in was a little confusing at first, but the Omni got us squared away. The star of the Omni is actually a gentleman by the name of Rebert Price. He demonstrated the type of service I would expect at a 4 diamond hotel and then some. Customer service to me isn't about a perfect experience, but one where as a customer, you feel like your requests, needs, and concerns are all considered and respected. Rebert was kind, prof... I reccomend calling the hotel several times and asking for the front desk, not just the answering service. We were given bad info about how many could fit per room with the help of extra roll in cots. We arrived and were told that we were wrong after planningour entire trip around these rooms. Our issues were resolved, but avoid the headache and ask to talk to the front desk and NOt the answering service that works offsite~ Otherwise great stay!

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I have always loved staying at Omni properties but found this one to be extremely dirty in the common areas and hallways. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, there were stains all over the walls and the room smelled like someone smoked in it. Definitely not worth the amount of money you will spend here. The electrical outlets in the room and the AC barely worked. It's in need of some major work.

To be fair, I don't think the hotel was adequately prepared for the amount of people attending this particular conference. This hotel is located within walking distance of anything you would want to do in downtown Atlanta. We stayed in the South Tower with a gorgeous view of Centennial Park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The good: Staff at reception and room service really super - the rooms on the north side of the hotel were recently renovated so were acceptable. When I had the scary dustball incident (see below) the front desk guy apologized and immediately moved me, he was awesome. The bad: The hotel appears run down from the lobby throughout, to include the main restaurant. Seemed to be very understaffed overall. The ugly: I was initially assigned a room on the south side - beds were incredibly lumpy, ... Read more

If you're out to visit Atlanta's tourist highlights this is a great address, located at the CNN Center, It's walking distance from the Atlanta Aquarium and the World Of Coca Cola. We were initially given a tired room in the older wing, but as soon as I addressed it we were moved to a wonderful room. Anthony could not have been more accommodating.

This place is literally great. I've stayed here on two different occasions and loved each one. The location is prime, the comfort level is on high, and the staff are top notch professional hospitality masters! You pretty much have to pay the per night valet fee, but that is not a deal maker for me. The rooms are beautiful, and if you book one overlooking Centennial Park, you'll be in for a treat at night.

Stayed here for a conference and had a room on the 12th floor overlooking Centennial Park and downtown and the view was stunning, especially at night. This hotel is attached to both the Georgia World Congress Center and CNN HQ (which has a very nice food court and shopping are by the way) and there are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again during future trips to the Atlanta area.

The staff upon check-in were very informative and attentive. They allowed me to help choose my room based on my familial preference as well as keep in mind the purposes of my trip. My room was tidy and easily accessible. While expensive, onsite valet parking was excellent. I never worried about the safety of my vehicle and they even offered text service which allowed my car to be made available at either tower at the touch of a button. One morning making a call down concierge received no an... Read more

My room was very dirty.. The sheet where nasty, the bathroom was disgusting and the bed was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel for your stay in Atlanta, GA. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room need upgraded and the house cleaning dept needs fired and they need to hire people who know how to clean rooms and service them properly.

The hotel was amazing!!!! It was beautiful and convenient for what I was doing. The park was just outside and the Phillips Arena was just a walk away. The food sources were amazing in the CNN Center and everyone was friendly. I felt really secure knowing that a police precinct was basically inside the hotel. Only problem I would say is the price. You really have to save your money to stay here but it is worth it.

I had the opportunity for the firs time to stay at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center. It was wonderful. This place is amazing. Very nice and so many areas to just sit and chill, read a book, work on your computer, chat with friends/family, etc. I stayed in the North Tower an the room was nice too. It could have been a little bit better for the money as I've stayed in much nicer rooms but still nice.

First time staying at an Omni hotel and first time being in Atlanta. I was given a room on a high floor and it had a balcony. Room had a fridge and lots of places nearby to get food and shopping. No issues with sound and I slept great. The "basement" of the hotel has a large food court if you want to stay in the same building for food.

Morris was at the front desk at the North Tower when we arrived and checked us in promptly and respectfully with great care and courtesy. Our room on the 22nd floor was clean, quiet and very comfortable with soft elegant towels and sheets. My request for washcloths was immediately attended to. Valet parking was also courteous and prompt. The location is perfect. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Perfect place for a conference, the hub of Atlanta. Lots of entertainment, shopping and dining options without ever leaving air conditioned space. College Football Hall of Fame, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons all within a couple minutes walk. Excellent rooms and big and spacious conference center connected to the hotel. Best conference location I've ever been too. Outstanding venue

We were in town for a concert on a Weds. night at the Georgia Dome. Arrived at 6PM and room still wasn't ready/clean. Pretty poor when most guests were there for a concert that started at 7. Many unhappy people for sure, and while front desk can only do so much in that situation, the front desk manager (African American woman in her 30's if management reads reviews) couldn't have been more rude or unhelpful. We are always polite when dealing with desk and service staff, but didn't receive ev... Read more

This hotel is neat, clean and pretty cool. OK, I would get cold as soon as I entered the lobby or began walking down the hallway. The a/c worked very well I must say. Iced lemon infused water greeted guests everyday - alongside a bowl of small red delicious apples in one corner of the lobby that would quickly disappear. Arrived at hotel too late for a planned CNN tour but heard it was uneventful and a bit dull. Stayed in North tower - the newer part of the hotel. Rooms were inviting, clean and c... Read more

I stayed at the Omni CNN for a conference and the only thing worthwhile was I had a room with a balcony facing Centennial Park. If you are coming to visit and it is possible, by pass the front desk. With the exception of two, they are horrible. The hotel is in a great location and it is convenient to everything downtown with a train stop.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is walking distance from the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke and plenty of restaurants to eat at. If you wanna be in the middle of the city life, this is where you wanna stay, if you're looking for peace and quite you'll wanna stay outside of Atlanta. Parking is $36 a night with in and out privileges. There's a lot of parking garages you leave your car at for $20 but you can't come and go as you please, so depends what you're looking ... Read more

Okay location, friendly staff, just be careful of any charges not started online. Also, there's no parking other than valet, which is $35 bucks daily. Great view, and you can occasionally catch a concert out front.
