Started off not so good with a front desk woman with an attitude. Won't get into it but I will say the manager Joanna did he right thing and took care of everything. I believe she was sincere. On another note... The hotel itself was nice. Perfect to hold a meeting of any size. They have a little store in here that has energy drinks, Starbucks coffee and of course Atlanta souvenirs and of course commissary items. Breakfast is included with an Omelet station. All in all was satisfactory.

You can't beat the location of this hotel, but there are so many others in the area, I will search around before coming back. This is a typical Embassy Suites with the large suites, happy hour and free breakfast, so nothing surprising there. Our party (2 suites) arrived at 2:45 on the Sunday before Memorial Day for a 3:00 check in. We were informed that the rooms were not ready and they did not know when they would be ready. An hour later, we were shown to one room (we needed 2) and were to... Read more

Things that were classy about this location were: Ruth Chris being the restaurant located in the Hotel, Quslity of valet and bellhops, outdoor pool, hotel lobby and atrium. Un-classy thing in the hotel: No water on day one. No hot water on day two. Refrigerator was not working and room decor badly in need of a renovation.

This is a typical Embassy Suites, needs to be re-modeled but great location. My issue is that breakfast does not start until 7:30 am on week-ends. Plus, they cook omelette's on the grill so they get very thin and dry. I really prefer the Embassy Suites that cook omelette's in a pan so they can be delivered fluffy and not dried out. If the breakfast was better, i would grade it higher but I had to go to a nearby coffee shop at 7:00 and that doesn't work for me.

What can I say? This is Embassy Suites, and this is Buckhead. But this hotel was not indicative of the name or the area. First of all, the Room had an order, that turned out to be from the shower. Ugh well our trip has just begun... First room opened the fridge and there was a roach, gross, I have to put my babies milk in there. They did move us not that has made us feel any better. Second room had a bad fridge had to wait about 2 hrs for that. All the ladies at the front desk were extremely nice. This place needs to be updated. I will not stay here again. Hope they all are not this way.

Where to begin... we arrived the Friday night of the Labor Day weekend after extensive booking research. Initially we had good vibes as the lobby is quite nice (at night) with the water feature and coy fish swimming happily. Unfortunately, when we opened the door to room 728, we were immediately welcomed with a stale smell. The room initially looks "well" decorated, but upon inspection you can see the frayed carpet, worn sofa, peeling wallpaper, and a well stained pull out sofa - you get the p... Read more

I try not to get too negative about a place, but this hotel failed in so many ways that I feel compelled to post a review. I will start with the positive - everyone with whom we dealt was very nice, even when they did not resolve the problems that we mentioned. No one was rude or unfriendly. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. The beds are barely adequate, and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that we asked for a pad or topper after the first night. We had a great weekend at this hotel over the Labor Day weekend. I highly suggest ignoring the negative comments made by other people. This hotel is in a great location with a lot of shopping and dining nearby. It has a free 1-mile radius shuttle and many restaurants within walking distance. The Ruth's Chris Steak House is their in-house restaurant and we enjoyed our dinner. After comparing several hotels in the area we decided on the Embassy Suites and booked it through Hotels.com. Checking in went well and the staff were quite friendly. After passing through the lobby it was quite obvious that this was a worn out hotel. Our room had a moldy smell to it. The bathrooms are old and worn as is all the furniture in the rooms. The cabinetry was extremely scuffed up. The bed was okay, nothing special. We have stayed in some great hotels in the area and this is on... Read more

I know things happen that everything is not always going to be perfect. But I was disappointed that request were not honored and that the room was not properly cleaned and that we had to bring the problem to the attention of the front desk when they apparently already knew that a problem with housekeeping had occurred on that day.

We choose Embassy Suites frequently because of the size of the rooms, the free cocktail hour and usually good breakfasts. Room was fine and typical of an Embassy Suites room. We had no need for the pull-out sofa so I can't speak to the comfort. The beds were fine with us. Only complaint is about the complimentary part. With only 1 bartender, who moved very slowly, there was a constant long line to get a drink. As for breakfast, they did not have any hot items set out on a steam table. You have ... Read more

I stayed there with friends during Labor Day weekend. The staff was nice, the hotel was right in the heart of Atlanta so we were able to walk to the mall, the grocery store and the movie theater. The hotel also had a shuttle that will take you within 1 mile of the hotel. They have wine hour with free wine for all guest(of age of course) and complimentary breakfast. This hotel charges you and your vehicle to stay. They require that you pay $25/night for parking. There is no other parking options available. This is the worst Embassy Suites that I've stayed. The breakfast isn't the best and the food is cold. The managers reception would have been nice if it weren't for the skimpy, cheap snacks that were offered. Let me start by saying that before I left NY I had stumbled on TripAdvisor and read about a woman who had roaches in her room , Sept 2016. We chose this hotel to experience the area of Buckhead. Our service was excellent and the room was very nice. My husband especially enjoyed the full breakfast and manager's reception every day. We experienced heavy traffic though, not sure if it was related to the evacuations from the recent hurricane, or if this was the norm for Atlanta. Other than that, we're looking forward to returning.

A great lobby, spacious and comfortable rooms and a full complimentary breakfast! The hotel is surrounded by the Ritz, W and Intercontinental, but if you wish to stay in Buckhead, this is your best bet. The large common areas, indoor and outdoor pools and breakfast/ evening reception give the hotel a comfortable and inviting feel. While we were only there for 2 nights, this is a hotel that you could stay in long term.
