The room was comfortable and it was easy to manage two unrelated people's stuff with a big window seat and another ample area for suitcases, two comfortable beds and a great view from room 214 of nothing but lovely trees--it almost seemed like a tree-house. It was quiet, affordable and met all our needs. The bathroom wasn't great, as the fan made a screeching sound, so we did not use it and repair to the bathtub was unattractive, but the shower had good water pressure and worked fine.

The hotel wasn't as clean as it should be. There were family members of staff running halls and eating breakfast watching tv in meeting room. There was the smell of marijuana coming out of the room and we were on non smoking floor. There was also a person that was there everyday but didn't seem to be staying there he kinda hung in lobby or went out to vehicle last that pulled up.

What's wrong with this place? Why are the staff so unhappy looking and grumpy? What happened to customer service with a smile and upbeat attitude? The room was small and smelled bad. The fan in the bathroom made an ungodly loud grinding noise. The breakfast on a Saturday morning ends at 9am. But the worst was the staff... absolutely abominable.

The hotel is about 6 miles from Downtown Atlanta however, it was a quick drive into town with limited traffic. The hotel itself needs many improvements. Aside from safety concerns, my room was half-clean and missed some basic essentials (wash rag, lotion, etc). The ice box and tray were clearly dirty and the bathroom's toilet had visible leaks with rust. Th e silver lining was the staff. They were professional and courteous.

The room/floor that they first put me in was TERRIBLE reaked of smoke then there was a big, big, water bug in the room. Very upset. Would not think that anything with the name Wyndham attached to it would be that bad. I don't know how you could allow anyone to rent a room on that third floor. VERY UPSET and I always stay in a Wyndham when I travel.

Out of all the Microtels that I have stayed in, this one was the worst. Our microwave didn't work, and the hotel smelled like weed. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor. One night there was a "guest" that seemed like he was following us to our room and when he was confronted he turned around and went back to the elevator. I will never stay at this one again!

The location of this hotel was fantastic. We were in downtown Atlanta in less than 15 minutes. We did not feel completely comfortable walking in and out of the hotel after dark, try to get there before sunset. Our room could have used some better upkeep (tv not working, chips in the paint, water damage in the bathroom) but the bed was comfy and all we needed was a place to sleep comfortable. I would recommend this to someone passing through looking for a place to sleep on a budget.

After a long day of day long driving I was very relieved to check into the Microtel at Corporate Square in Atlanta for 3 Main Reasons: 1.) The lady at the Front Desk was very cordial and had a great welcoming personality; 2.) The Check-In was smooth and hassle free and 3.) My room was immaculate allowing me to immediately take a late afternoon nap before heading out to a business dinner engagement.

Pros: Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good wi-fi, decent breakfast, centrally located. Good value. Cons: No irons in room (must borrow from front desk), the cable TV is very limited though it had most basic channels. I didn't have any bath towels in my room (only hand towels). Located close to a few "seedy establishments". First off, the staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable. The wi-fi was adequate and the breakfast was decent. I recently went to Atlanta on business. All the hotel rooms were booked and were twice the usual price. I finally found a room with Microtel, at a very low price. I thought that a Wyndham hotel chain would have a clean economy hotel so I was very pleased to find this room, especially for such a reasonable rate. Now seems over run with parties and weed smoking. Hotel under renovations to very non attractive. Many things broken in room, same pile of dirt in corner the entire stay. Last stay different treats each night such as cookies & popcorn in lobby. This time only a contact high upon entering. Staff was friendly to our family.

The front desk clerk was not helpful. The room looked nothing like the photo on the Wyndham site. The carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed. The mirrors were all spotted. The freezer portion of the fridge was full of ice; unusable. The floor in the bathroom needed sweeping, the walls needed wiping, the door had white hand prints on it, and the tub had a ring around it. The light cover over the bed was falling apart and clearly needed fixing. The housekeeper on duty was rude when we a... Read more

Horrible location. It was not cleaned properly. It smelt like mold. The walls had wholes in them. It was loud. I did not get any sleep. It was just a horrible stay and I suggest staying at a different hotel.

Check in was good. No lamps in the room. The smoke detector was falling out of the ceiling. The toilet was clogged, I told the front desk at 5 o'clock, then at 6 and 7, then at 8 o'clock I went to the front desk and requested a plunger and did it myself. There was no maintenance. Breakfest was a joke a waffle machine and muffins. Over all I stayed 2 days and was glad to leave.

I should have known this Inn would not be a good place when I saw all the soliciting in the parking lot; (adult bar across the street) the filthy floors in the lobby and the stench in the hallway. My first room was horrible and I felt very dirty just standing in it. There were stains on the bed covers, poor lighting, an overwhelming odor, mold on the bathroom ceiling and the microwave and tv were inoperable. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful and attempted to move us to a "better" room.... Read more

When I checked in everything was great. When I got to my floor the entire floor smelled like smoke and my room smelled like smoke. I also had an issue the next morning. I had a 9am meeting that went to 11am. Checkout was at 11 but a housekeeper came in at 10am or so and pulled all of the covers from my bed and rearranged the room. Unacceptable. Then at 11:05am that manager came in and demanded that I check out within 5 minutes. Worst Wyndham hote ever

Average rooms, but great rates and hotel is in a central location that is easily accessible to all downtown and midtown.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. It's next to a strip club and a Latin restaurant that had music blasting all night til 4 am. The phone was not working, wifi was not working most of the night, we saw a "lady of the night" leaving the hotel after coming back from dinner. We awoke to see vomit puddles all over the hallway floor, right in front of our door and to top it all off, I was overcharged by "mistake". This hotel is a site for sore eyes in a bad part of town and it is not family frien... Read more

We chose Microtel in Atlanta because it claimed to be a "pet-friendly" hotel. Upon arrival, there was a $50 per pet non-refundable fee. With 2 dogs, this ended up being more than the price of the room. I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in. The lobby was in disrepair and there were several holes in the walls along the hallway to our room. The curtains in our room were completely stained and the water dribbled out of the faucet in the shower. I t... Read more

We were there because of my procedure at Emory Hospital. It was day surgery with follow-up appointments. I booked well in advance for seven days. The pictures looked fine on line. When we got there, the interior was being remodeled. The room they took us to was unacceptable. We requested a fridge and microwave. So, they gave us the room next door. There was a fridge and microwave. The vent on the air conditioner was broken, the hair dryer was not there, but you could see by the damage t... Read more

My souse and I ended our 6 week trip through the beautiful deep south of the US in this Microtel and was really disappointed after starting our travels at the Microtel in Chattanooga 6 weeks earlier - which we loved by the way. The Buckhead Microtel was remodeling or I really hope they were otherwise they have a huge problem. There where huge holes at the bottom of the dry walls, the carpeting looked old and fryed, the entrance was under construction it seemed, the continental breakfast was lack... Read more
