My wife and son and I stayed here 3 nights to attend our daughter's graduation at Emory. It is relatively inexpensive for hotels near Emory. It is convenient to Buckhead locations and downtown. However, the positives end there. The hotel is very dated and the rooms weary. Our room had a roach on the sink. There is a thermostat on the wall but apparently not functional. We finally figured out how to control the AC from the wall unit. The shower dripped constantly after turning it off. Br... Read more

Immediately after entering our room I had regrets for staying here. The floors are dirty, stained and squeaky. The shower has mold everywhere and standing water in the tub. This is upon check in. The bed was very worn and uncomfortable. I'm currently looking at other hotels in the area and wanting to cut my 4 night stay very short.

Front desk very nice but that is where the "nice" stopped. Terrible room, ac didn't work well and stains were on everything from the floor to the bed sheets. Room was dirty and smelly. Would never stay here again.

We stayed here for two weeks for work. Our dogs found medicine on the floor when we first got in. It was still wrapped so it wasn't something they could eat but large enough that it should have been cleaned along with much other trash we found around the room. They would not clean the room. Finally after asking for a week and a half we did finally get clean sheets. Creepy and thuggish people hanging outside at night. I did not feel safe going outside after dark here. Some members of the sta... Read more

I stayed at La Quinta Inn for four nights in May 2015. I arrived at 1:30 p.m. and found the check-in process was easy and uneventful. Reception was pleasant and helpful. My room (216) was appointed with a king size bed, full sofa sleeper, a recliner, desk and chair and a flat screen television. The room comes with a single serve coffee pot, a microwave (700w) and a small refrigerator. All of the appliances worked and they were clean. There is a typical breakfast served in the lobby each morn... Read more

Great experience with my very young kids in tow. Staff friendly and helpful. I will stay there again. Totally recommend. Sorry my answers are so pithy, Trip Adviser. Why do I have to keep writing? xoxo

Hotel needs to be renovated. Carpet is stained, couch was stained and bathroom sealant shows signs of old age. Everything but the tv is outdated. Staff was nice and towels/sheets were clean. Free breakfast (WAFFLES!) is nice. Free Parking.

Right next to a 24 hour "SPA",that didn't fit your average definition of a spa.Shady looking and weird people hanging around.Motel room was ok but did not have a microwave or a mini refrigferator as advertised

Hotel needs a big make-over. Rooms are outdated. Carpet looks bad, bathtub was 'painted' to cover cracks, not enough receptacles, light switches (and their covers) loose. sink was not running well (clogged) The good news: friendly staff, good breakfast.

I read some negative reviews and was a bit skeptical about checking into this hotel. It was just fine.... The lobby was spanking clean. Frey at the front desk and Sean ( I think) were very helpful and very friendly. The housekeeping staff were all very pleasant. The room was clean and on one of the hottest days of the summer they had the AC running for us when we got into the room. The neighborhood is ok and we did not feel unsafe once. I dont think there is a pool.

I used to live in Atlanta so I know the area well. The hotel is in a perfect location, literally walking distance to 85N. What I like about this hotel is, of course, the location, staff, and free breakfast. Yes, the rooms are in need of up-dating for the price you pay. I was told by, sorry I forgot his name so I'll say-- blonde funny man in charge of housekeeping, that they are having a huge renovation coming up in a few months with several thousand dollars being spent PER ROOM. I come ba... Read more

Stayed in a double room on the second floor of the hotel. I came in late and left early without trying the free breakfast. The bathroom was small and in ok shape for a vintage hotel. It had a real nice desk with a phone on it but didn't have any availabe outlets for a computer or cell phone charger. I had to unplug a light next to the bed to charge my cell. The beds were ok, we got some sleep and left.

Called prior to booking to ask about the sofa bed. Was told it was a full size, which is what we needed. Checked in, got to room... sofa bed was a twin. Other issues: * Dingy, dirty * Mold in bathroom * Outlet wouldn't hold the cell phone charger plug * AC was off in the room, muggy and nasty smell in room Would not stay here again.

Staff was very accommodating. Everything was fine during our stay. We arrived very late (after hours) and were still treated with the utmost cordiality and help. We have stayed in many La Quintas over the years for many nights. Though I was unsure of this location, it turned out to be very nice, and we would return again.

This hotel is out-dated, carpet is nasty and the mattress has stains on it. It need renovations desperately. Like I said I am here to sleep and shower. The room is free so I cant complain but it need an upgrade and new mattresses. The bathroom look poor. For a free room I guess its alright...

The room was very cool, clean, and quiet. A wonderful haven after spending 100 + heat index. Did not use pool or WiFi. Enjoyed the breakfast. I always look forward to waffles. I missed the bacon and sausage. Easy to find off the interstate.

This hotel is mainly for working people on the road or in Atlanta for Emory or VA. It has great location and all you need for a comfortable stay. I have been a long time resident on several occasions while my wife was in the hospital.

Matt and I stayed here while in town for the DCI show. The room is basic, clean, and the breakfast bar is nothing but carbs and yogurt added in. So, that is standard too. I had no problem with the staff. We were there to sleep, not enjoy the room. We were pleasantly surprised,, and I suspect just from the vibe we got of the staff,,, that the room was tidyed up when we returned. for some reason, we didn't think it would be. so kudos to them. No fridge in room to keep water and the like... Read more

We had to go to the Atlanta VA for a Heart Cath and the Va put us up at this hotel for the night before because we had to drive 3 hours to get there. It needs to be up dated but it was very clean and staff was so friendly. Would stay there again if we were traveling through there. We had to leave too early for breakfast. Bed was alright and we slept well. A/C was cold and room was quite.

Great hotel right off I-85 and about 3 blocks from Lenox Square in Buckhead, Georgia. There is lots of food and service stations in walking distance of the hotel. I stayed for business so my traffic getting back to downtown was crazy but I enjoyed the hotel because I did not want to be downtown.

I was very upset to arrive to the hotel and looking forward to a smoke free room which I was promised over the phone while making reservations. When I arrived their was a gentleman by the name of Steven whom was very pleasant but could not find my reservations. Thankful I had a copy of the reservations in my email. By the time I retrieved the email he found my reservation. The reason he couldn't find my reservation was due to the room I was suppose to be in they had to change it due to the sm... Read more
