Great location and clean and great service but only good room. Lumpy/uncomfortable mattresses and loud AC that would come on and off frequently all night but never cooled the room as cool as we desired. Good but not great for the price.

We stayed at this location last year and had a pretty good experience, wow what a difference a year makes. The mattresses were way past their usage time. We had a room with 2 queens beds and you could visually see the sunken spots, plumbing needs work if you aren't an early riser don't expect a hot shower. This is a pet friendly hotel, we don't have pets with this being said we thought we were at a kennel. The pets out numbered the humans and the dogs barking and the cats meowing all hours, we w... This is by far the nicest La Quinta I have stayed in. The Inn is not far from all the attractions in downtown Atlanta but located in a very quiet area. Room was large, clean and updated. Beds were VERY comfortable. Breakfast was very good and included a wide variety of items. All rooms had a micro-refrigerator which was nice to have. The people at reception were always pleasant and extremely helpful in answering our questions on directions and places to eat. I would definitely stay here a... Read more

A nicer than average La Quinta with some great amenities, but noisy AC/heating units and firm beds with firm pillows. It was nice outside, so I turned the AC unit OFF and enjoyed the stay. I won't go there in the summer or winter. Breakfast is over at 9am, so if you want to sleep in at all, you're out of luck. The gym was small but nicely equipped. The WIFI is super fast. The hotel is attractive and clean. The maids will not come back if you're not up early. A hotel for early risers.

This is a very good hotel in an excellent location. We stay here often due to the ease of getting into the city and the nearby shopping and cafes in Vinings and Smyrna. We find it to be a good value for the area.

You should never overbook. Finding out that you gave away my room at 10pm is unacceptable. Asking me to drive 20 minutes to the next closest Laquinta is unacceptable. What is the point of a reservation if it is not actually RESERVED. I officially hate this hotel.

First, the basics are in place: clean room, comfortable bed, all the plumbing worked, and all the electrical worked (except for a glitch with the desk lamp, but the lamp was quickly replaced). The ADA shower worked great. The location is surprisingly quiet. Second, the staff (front desk and housekeeping) went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This is a large LQ and a lot of customers flow though the hotel; yet, the staff was unfailingly upbeat. Great staff! Third, the location. ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel on a whim while making an emergency visit to the area. The hotel staff was very polite and even called to check in with us to make sure everything was OK in our room. The room was clean and updated. Our only complaint was that the door was not sound proof at all and we could hear all hallway converstaions. There was clearly space around the door so everything could be heard.

We stayed in the King suite because we are a family of four. The room was the perfect size. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We especially loved Pam, who cleans the first floor. She was so welcoming. We can't wait to come back to La Quinta! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just checked in today! Great hotel! 10 minutes after we were in our room the phone rang, front desk just calling to be sure all was well ! Clean, Great pool, Close to Everything ( shopping, food etc....) spacious room that overlooked the pool, just perfect! The staff always has a smile on their face and went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable. Definitely will stay here again when in the Atlanta area!

Stayed overnight at this hotel while attending a concert at Cobb performing art center. Good location. Very big and spacious room. Very clean. Good bed. It is actually better if u book it for a week. Has a mini fridge. And coffee maker. Has free wifi and breakfast. A lot of on site amenities for travelers staying for more than 1-2 days. My only negative point is that the lobby had only one elevator going up and down. They could do with more. Hotel is also pet friendly.

Spent a week at this property. The Executive Housekeeper was outstanding as well as the Front Desk Staff. Hotel interior nice and loved it that Publix and Panera were so close. Also the Front Desk Manager was helpful with her knowledge of the area. Breakfast was good and I has plenty of Desk Space and Media connections in my room to spread out. Thank you Hotel Staff!

I had an extended stay because I was in the process of moving and arrived before my furniture. Rooms clean; some of the best lighting ever for a hotel bathroom and roomy. Good Breakfast, though the same every day. There were two of us in a double room, so an extra chair would have been nice. Very pet friendly.

As a senior traveling with my wife and small dog this was a convenient, quiet, comfortable location in NW Atlanta. Well landscaped, clean and a value price. Choices of dining nearby, easy to get to in spite of the Atlanta gridlock.

Travelled with two Australian Shepherds. Found that this hotel has no extra charge for dogs. Mentioned during reservation call that we have 2 dogs... no problem. Check was easy and great. On additional form to outline rules of having dogs on premises. All reasonable to any dog owner. Facility was super clean. Room was great. There were well kept outdoor areas to take dogs. I was on a business trip just a few days ago. I had room on the first floor right near the pool. I awakened the following morning to the sight of ants around the A/C and on the desk. I realize it is not the Four Seasons but ants in my room is a bit much. Fortunately, I took the bed closer to the bathroom so I was not bitten.

This is a truly horrid La Quinta location. They do not do the brand justice. The room we were given was dirty, the refrigerator smelled of rotten cheese, and the management was unwilling to make any changes. We were told on check out they could 'give us points' for our trouble. In the over 30 La Quinta locations I've stayed in from Washington State to North Carolina, this is the worst.

Our stay in this La Quinta was a pleasure. The accommodations were good, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast more than satisfactory. If we had to stay in that area again, we would choose to stay there again. A suggestion we have is to call ahead of time to get directions to the hotel - the area is quite busy. A plus is being quite close to the interstate highway.

Staff was extremely friendly and cordial on arrival. Rooms AC was leaking upon check in so we called and immediately had keys to another room. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable (as long as AC works). Location and area was very safe. Many nice places and restaurants in a 1/2 mile radius. This hotel is located in a very nice section outside Atlanta but within 15 minutes of Atlanta. Our room was great with a king bed and sofa at the end of the bed. Room on first floor was large enough to be comfortable for our five day stay with our pets. Comfortable bed, nice TV, good breakfast food and pleasant staff. Overall a great trip and stay at La Quinta.

The hotel smelled of pets.we have a pet but it was a very unpleasant odor in the bottom floor. Luckily we stayed on a higher floor. Pro-location, Panera next door, pet-friendly Cons-smell, thin Windows (noise from ambulances outside), not especially comfortable, boring breakfast, and lack of bath amenities., not especially clean. It's ok if you're not big into hotels or don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

Staff is ineffective in controlling the noise from barking dogs and people. Others reported the issues during my stay, but staff is ineffective. This hotel wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The check in was easy, and the room was pretty much as described. We were on the third floor just down from the elevator/stairs. The air conditioner made a sound on and off like there was a squeaky belt or something. There was an area on the ceiling near the window that looked like a leak has been there a long time without repair. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly. I really love this hotel and like to stay here but the weekend I stayed was when Guest were coming in from Hurricane Matthew.
