I did not stay at this hotel on this visit but attended a conference for 3 days. The building is connected to Peachtree Plaza which has a mall type food court, various stores/concessions as well as a CVS pharmacy. The decor of the lobby area has changed from traditional the last time I visited to very contemporary. Hotel is centrally located and very close to interstate.

First the good! Excellent hotel, very well located, beautiful lobby. The valet parking and check-in process was fast, efficient and friendly. Our room was very nice, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Everything in the room worked perfectly. The hotel was quiet at night and the A/C was efficient and quiet as well. Excellent! We visited the Polaris rotating restaurant and had an excellent experience. We sat at the bar for drinks and dessert and had an excellent time. Even though they we... Read more

We decided to stay here after 4 days in a horrible AirBnB rental. The rates were amazing, and we were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we arrived on the property. The valet parking was efficient. The front desk staff was outgoing and assisted with everything we needed. The restaurants on site were expensive but good. Definitely try the chicken wings in the lobby lounge. I spent 2 nights here in early June with my teenage son. Nice hotel - great downtown Atlanta location. Easy walk to aquarium, world of coca-cola, civil rights museum and olympic park. It is almost across the street from the regional passport center which is part of the reason we were there. They have a contract for free taxi service to the zoo which was a nice perk. Our room wasn't ready when we got there and still wasn't ready after over an hour afterward. When I complained they upgraded us to ... Read more

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a Conference. Check in was smooth and I was able to check in a bit early. The young man who checked me in, Tyler, I believe, was very helpful. He even called me later to make sure the room was good. I had a king room with a city view on the 24th Floor of the International Tower. The room was spacious and the view was nice. Very happy with the responsiveness of the staff to a less than positive experience at one of the restaurants on the property. When I spoke with the manager, I was then contacted shortly thereafter by the Asst Food & Beverage manager, Michael. He made it right and I would recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency to anyone for business or pleasure. Easy MARTA ride from airport. Only $2.50!

We found this hotel to be nice. The rooms are not huge but enough to be comfortable. The location was the best part. Close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean but did seem noisy. The balcony was useless with the heat of the summer and lack of real view. Had a good stay‚?¶not great.

Don't waste your time and money staying here. I'm surprised that this is part of the Hyatt chain. I should have realized how horrible this stay would be when we pulled up to the hotel and the bellmen ignored us. They were more interested in talking to each other and texting on their phones. I'm perfectly capable of dragging my own bags through the hotel, but at a Hyatt, a certain level of luxury and assistance is expected. Once you walk into the lobby, you see the decor. Everything was fine with our visit until about 10:30 PM...when we were awakened by ridiculously loud partiers in the lobby. It sounded like dozens of people, yelling, laughing, catcalling--I could even hear it over the air conditioner. The hotel isn't as convenient to popular attractions (Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, College Football HOF) as we would have preferred. After seeing the proximity, the Hilton Garden Inn or the Embassy Suites would've been a better choice for that. The hotel room was OK. The view was great. The noise from the street level up to our room was noticeably loud. Motorcyles, car-stereos could all be heard easily inside our 16th floor room.

This hotel is in the perfect location for a night out in the city. It is close enough to walk or get a cheap uber ride to bars and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful and the pool is very nice. Most of the rooms don't have much of a view unless you like the neighboring buildings' brick walls but that didnt bother me. The staff was friendly and helpful during my trip and I am generally very happy with the experience. Only down sides were parking is $35 a night and check-in is a VERY SLOW process.

The staff was very accommodating at every turn. The room was sparkling clean. Concierge provided a list of things to do that were within walking distance. I wouldn't have known how close the hotel was to the Coke attraction and I wouldn't have known about the Margaret Mitchell house where most of "Gone With the Wind" was written. I stayed all day in Atlanta due to information provided. I had only planned to stay overnight, and leave early in the morning.

Hyatt hotel was great. I did have issues with the phone not working and no solution was provided, and bartenders were disappointing at the hotel bar. The wall paper was also peeling up in our room. Other than that the room was comfortable, bell staff was amazing, and so was security as they helped my wife with a sprained ankle.

I did not actually stay in this hotel. It was one of the host hotels for Dragon Con and as such, I was in and out of it quite frequently. I am reviewing this mostly because of one Security Guard in particular. My sister and I were going down the stairs toward Hanover since the escalators were quite busy. About six steps from the bottom, my sister missed a step and ended up sliding down the rest on her front. She bruised her right forearm and both of her shins in the process. One security guard ... Overall the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta is one of my favorite hotels to be at. The Radius tower rooms are small, but I do like the privacy they offer during a busy DragonCon convention. The location is ideal when wanting to get food from the Peachtree center. I recommend bringing extra hangers as you can utilize the window railing to hang clothing if you need the extra room.

Stayed for three nights during September and basic experience was ok but with Hyatt you would expect something more. Most of the downfalls were associated with the room - noicy location (9th floor) and noise was further amplified by the AC system. Wow - one of the few hotels I can give a five star rating to! From the staff to the accommodations, everything was top notch. Beautiful, clean room with a balcony overlooking the city was a delight to enjoy the beautiful nights. Updated bathroom with big shower stall. Great concierge staff. Perfect location for exploring Atlanta by foot. We attended the Green Bay Packer game and while they lost {heavy sigh} the acoomodations and the location made it less painful! I would stay here again in ... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for a conference - it was a good location from which to walk and explore the city. There was plenty of space to grab coffee, meet with friends, and hang out. My room in the tower was quiet and a good space to rest. A critique - a smaller room with no place to set the luggage and no real drawer space to unpack. For a 5 night stay it was a pain to have to rummage through a suitcase.

Great business and conference venue. Well located, many amenities. Always wonder though why most hotels do not really cater for women travelers - i.e more coat hangers in closet...of course I could have asked and I am sure they would have obliged. Just wondering out loud.

I stayed here for a conference this week and the staff could not be any nicer. I recommend you ask for a room in the main building. My room was 825, which was perfect. If you get a higher floor, you may be waiting long for an elevator. Rooms are spacious, have a safe, good amenities, and darkened curtains. The location is one block from the MARTA station, so I jumped on the train to and from the airport for $2.50 each way.

I was in Atlanta for a couple of days, attending MedTrade at the World Congress Center. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and have enjoyed it both times. One thing I really like about it is that, unlike some of the other downtown hotels in same category as Hyatt, this hotel room had both a fridge and microwave i the room, AND ice was easily available on each floor. Other downtown hotels I have stayed at for this conference over the years do not. One hotel, who shall remain nameless, told ... Read more

This place is absolutely "Grade A". rooms are refreshing and spacious. The room with two queen beds also comes with a fridge and a sectional that turns into a sofa bed. There's a beautiful large flat screen TV and the continental breakfast is awesome, none of that fast food dried powdered egg stuff. they served English muffins with egg whites, spinach and cheese, a variety of fruits, cereal, oatmeal, granola and several juices and fresh made danish. There are microwaves available for your use, a... Read more

I'm afraid the more I travel, the more exacting my standards become; this is a distinctly average hotel. Room was clean & spacious, bathroom was tiny with some shower mildew, good hairdryer, coffee pot plugs (side of tv cabinet) not working, coffee condiments cheap and sub-par, front desk ok to interact with but not particularly friendly, restaurant staff were very pleasant. Location is good for walking to downtown sights, nice little bakery right across the street for b'fast. Growing up I alway... Read more

The hotel boasts easy access to much of the downtown area without even leaving the building. But for dinner you will be sure to find a winner at the many restaurants located within walking distance. If you have the option of the breakfast buffet it is highly recommended. There are many tasty choices to satisfy anyone.

The property looks a little dated, but is well maintained and clean. The conference breakout rooms are oddly configured and contain large support pillars that obstruct views. Also, conference space is confined to a narrow tower within the building, so that I was constantly raking the elevator up and down 3 floors. Lobby space outside these rooms was small. Food was excellent!

This is a huge hotel with a central atrium but also an adjacent "International Tower." My room was clean, the bathroom suffiently large and there were adequate power plugs at the desk and bedside. For the business traveler this is just what one is looking for- comfortable and quiet in the room and, at least on my visit, not a a gathering spot for late night revelers who do not have a 7 AM meeting the next day. The staff at check-in and out were pleasant and efficient.

I enjoyed my stay in a HUGE room at the Hyatt, with a splendid room on 20th floor. Very convenient location to Centennial Park. I would recommend venturing further from the hotel vicinity to find better dining options, such as the great bar scene in Inman Park.

The Hyatt is a large, ultra-modern hotel suitable for the convention we attended. The very friendly and helpful staff helped us on several occasions.. We found the sleep quality acceptable, but the bathroom in our suite was remarkably small. The Hyatt is attached to the Peachtree Center, which is handy for shopping and access to transportation.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a conference and had a wonderful experience in real customer service. My first night's room was in the hotel's atrium section which was very noisy due to the large bar below. After a sleepless night I called the front desk and within two hours they moved me to a tower room that was so quiet and wonderful. My phone didn't work in the first room and a really nice tech guy came and fixed it in the first hour. Every employee was personable--in every department... Read more

This hotel has seen better days. The public areas are in good shape, including the grand lobby. Unfortunately there is not enough front desk staff to service the guests trying to check in or out, necessitating a wait. The staff is friendly and accommodating, once you to one. Upon entering a room, they look nice at first glance. When you look closer, you realize that the furniture is worn that the bed is squeaky and not very comfortable. You walk into a large and decent lobby but once you get into the rooms its just fine. Its modern-ish but nothing that special to write about. Its clean, safe and decently located so I guess I cant complain too much. Try the restaurant in the lobby. They make good food. I was surprised especially since its in a hotel.

PROS Quiet elevators because they are central in the lobby, elevator noise is not an issue at all in the rooms. The Regency Club was clean and well stocked, but often too small to handle the number of people visiting. Clean room. Fridge in the room. Very close to the MARTA station Close to many restaurants CONS Very small bathroom Non-secured wifi High elevator demand often made the trip back to the room very long

I stayed here for 1 night. The property was built in the 1960's and has a vast interior courtyard similar to an Embassy Suites. I am a Hyatt Platinum member and received a room on the 21 floor. I would recommend a high floor to avoid street noise. The King bed room and hotel were recently renovated. Very comfortable bed, modern art on the walls, dark wood furnishings and earth tones throughout. The bathroom is very tiny but remodeled and nicely equipped. It did take about a minute for the...
