We stayed at two Hyatt Places in the Atlanta area last week and were not disappointed at either one. The rooms are very spacious. Beds on one side of the room and a couch , desk "small kitchen" area on the other side. There was plenty of room for both my husband and I to settle in for a few days. The best part of the stay was the incredible free breakfast every morning. It was different every day. Egg, sausage muffins, scrambled eggs, southwestern eggs, eggs with spinach and hollandaise sau... The best part of this hotel was the staff -- from front desk to shuttle driver to the lady running the breakfast bar -- everyone was friendly, helpful and responsive. The room was large and comfortable and reasonably quiet despite being near the elevator. The complimentary breakfast was very generous too.

My wife and I had Hyatt point so we used them for a date night downtown (we live in Northern suburb of Atlanta). Our first stay here and we were very happy. The room was big and comfortable, the self-parking -- a little pricy at $25 but had in and out privileges -- is secure and close and there are numerous restaurants and Centennial Park in walking distance. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet was great, kept fresh right through the 7-10 breakfast period.

Earlier this year I won a $300 Hyatt Gift Card as a door prize at a trade show I was attending. I knew my partner and I would be hosting another couple for an event in Atlanta so we saved the gift card to offset some of our travel expenses. Upon arrival we were advised the property would be unable to accept our gift card without providing proof of purchase. It apparently looked suspect to the staff since it had a bar code on the backside. This was later identified because the gift card had be... Read more

First scent that greet us at Valet parking was marijuana smell. We stayed here from the 3rd to the 6th. It's not a family hotel, it caters to the party crowd, and it's not very clean either. Housekeepers knock on the door as early as 9am asking if you will be needing services. On the 5th they asked us in the morming if we need house keeping services, we told her yes, we went sightseeing and cane back around 6pm and our room wasn't done. My family of four stayed in Spring. We had a mobility room, and therefore it was a little more spacious. Handy to the highway exits, and within walking distance to the World of Coca Cola and eateries. The staff were very courteous, and we found the breakfast to be more than ample, and a variety of healthy options. I was worried that being on the ground floor may be noisy, but we were not disturbed by noise at all.

Most of the time, you know what you are getting with Hyatt Place around the country. Downtown ATL is no exception. Clean room. Good beds. We had a tough time figuring out who was staff and who was management during our stay. That's how GOOD the staff is. Noticed some shady people when we drove up, but parking is very secure (barbed wire on top of fence and locked gate). Staff recommended restaurant next door. Very good.

This is an excellent place to stay. Quality hotel with superb customer service. A delicious hot breakfast buffet with a great selection of food: grits, eggs, sausages, waffles, fresh fruit, and yogurt.

Nice hotel with decent sized rooms. Sitting area attempts to be separated from the sleeping area but the room is not that big. Bathroom (tub and toilet) was very tight. Pretty good breakfast but as with most hotels, repetitive after a day or two. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle driver took us up Peachtree where there are lots of restaurant options. Looked at the hotel menu but the seating area is not a serious restaurant and neither is the bar. Max Lager's is right next door ... Read more

LJ at the front desk - what a great personality and what great hospitality she showed to us. Enjoyed the location of the hotel...close enough to the action...far enough from the noise. Would highly recommend.

It was a great visit. Great hotel! Every person we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. One of the better options in the downtown Atlanta area. Would totally recommend.

Staff is very nice. They have a shuttle van and complementary breakfast, which were both very helpful to our stay due to a family member being at Emory hospital. Reasonable prices and nice rooms! Sometimes noisey, but it is Atlanta.

I stayed at this hotel while I was in town for a conference. It is just a few blocks from the conference hotel but considerably less expensive. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, although the bathroom (toilet and shower) was a bit tight. The bag of goodies that welcomed me was a very nice touch. The complimentary breakfast had decent options (yogurt, pancakes, oatmeal, eggs, etc.) and allowed me to grab a quick bite before running off to my 8AM sessions). I stayed on the top floor, wh... Great hotel, had very friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms and courtesy shuttle that would take us anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. Loved this find, and it was so close to many of Atlanta's attractions.

We stayed two nights this past weekend for Walker Stalker Con and the Adele concert. Used the hotel transport during the day and it was convenient. Walked back to the hotel from Phillips Arena and the walk wasn't bad. Good room - suggest you don't stay near elevators. Double beds are smaller but comfy. Clean and large enough for 3 people. Bathroom is tiny but allows for larger sink area and separate bar and closet space.

Close walk to Marta for those that want to use the train to and from the airport. My room with a king size bed had plenty of space to walk around in. The staff were wonderful. There was a shuttle available which I used a few times to get to the convention center but I also walked back to the hotel because the distance wasn't too bad. Heating and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast included.

Rather than stay at a conference venue, this hotel offered a reasonable, yet comfortable location in proximity to the main venue. It is within a few footsteps to a brew and dining pub. Security personnel are located in the lobby during evening hours, and rooms are refreshed nicely for enjoyment. It's nice to have an extended stay feel to enjoy for a week.

This hotel is only 3 blocks from the Coke Cola Building, Aquarium, and other attractions. They provide a shuttle to anywhere within a 2 mile radius and offer a free taxi to the zoo. Parking is not free but there is no free parking in the area.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights at the end of October. We were in town from Canada for the Walker Stalker Convention. We arrived at the hotel before check in and were greeted warmly by several staff members. They offered to store our luggage for us so that we could go ahead to the convention...our room ended up being ready before we had to leave so we didn't have to take them up on it. We were on the 8th floor with a beautiful view of the city from our window. The room was ver... Read more

Great hotel. Incredible staff. Convenient location to convention center, universities, aquarium, football stadium, Olympic Park, and other attractions, yet still offers (friendly and free) shuttle service. Very clean. Walking distance to downtown, but far enough away to be quiet. Fairly decent value. Would definitely stay again. (Note: may possibly be haunted, had some weird occurrences, but nothing that would keep us from staying there again.)

My Husband and I were able to get a room at the Hyatt Place Hotel on a short notice. The staff greeted us with a smile. This Hotel was very clean and the rooms were quiet. I will always stay at any of the Hyatt Hotels across the nation. Weather it is Hyatt Place, Hyatt House or Hyatt Regency.

Exceptional staff, Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Shuttle service within 3 mile radius was a bonus. Had hoped to stay closer to World Congress Center but all hotels were booked. This actually worked out better as I received a shuttle ride in the morning and would walk back after the convention (about 20 minutes. All in all a great hotel Highly recommend!!

Loved staying here, primarily because the staff was so friendly and accommodating. There was a group of 11 of us attending a convention, and we came and went at all hours in small and large groups. The shuttle was always there for us (most we ever had to wait for pick up was 20 minutes), and the front desk women were willing to split our bill into several parts. They have a nightly happy hour in a cozy lobby, and the breakfast is hot and somewhat varied. The eggs were of the powdered variety... Read more

Recently stayed at this hotel for a short visit to Georgia Tech. I really liked that the hotel has a small cozy feel. The lobby is intimate and not over whelming. Entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very good and attentive to our needs. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet (not easy to achieve in a big city!) Breakfast was more than adequate and very appreciated, even though the seattles best coffee was a medium roast and I really like dark roast. There is Starbucks fo... Read more

Wonderful experience with outstanding staff that go the extra mile. I needed to get some medical attention and shuttle driver drove me to a hospital ER and was very kind and helpful. Staff checked on me the following day to make sure I was doing OK. Breakfast was always excellent, great selection. Will be staying again next time I'm in Atlanta and stay at Hyatt Place locations whenever/wherever I travel.

The staff was extremely friendly and responsive. I would recommend staying there to anyone. Breakfast was good with enough variety to satisfy. I had my dog with me and they were very accommodating. The $75 pet fee I feel was not unreasonable.

The room was nice, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. There's even a shuttle that got us to where we needed to link up with our student at Ga Tech. All in all, this was a great stay; I wish it could have been longer!
