Hotel is dated. Our room had poor lighting and is dated. Beds are worn out. Elevators are slow. Message light on phone kept blinking during our whole stay. When we dialed to pick-up messages, line goes dead. Overall this is a tired property that badly needs updating. We booked two room nights on Hilton website. After the first night, we were locked out of our room and had to make multiple trips to the lobby (on slow elevator) to finally get keys that would work.

Great location, property & price. The property location is wonderful. It helps avoid many infamous traffic routes. Many great places are located near hotel. Free parking is great and no safety issues.

5 stars the staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtesy van was great! Complementary breakfast and social was a wonderful touch! You could barbeque by the pool which some guests did. I would definately recommend this hotel and use it again.

Understaffed. Kids will enjoy the 3ft pool. Breakfast was ok. Make other dinner plans. Took 6 hours to prepare a different room. No room service. No onsite meal after 6. Staff needs training. Substandard for a Hilton property.

Hotel under renovation. My advice would be to book elsewhere until reno is complete. Otherwise this is a hotel in a nice area that has the potential to have nice amenities once renovations are complete.

In last 20 yrs was one of favorite Buckhead in Atlanta hotels but has declined due to aging. Still polite and efficient check-in, but noisy elevator, no closet in room and dog and children in adjacent room(s) made our short trip less enjoyable. l.e.k.

Dirty linen left on the sofa bed. The mattress was thin as paper. There wasn't an iron available in the room and they couldn't locate one. The hotel was full so no option to change rooms. Notified the hotel upon check out re problems. Have yet to hear back from the property manager.

The staff was great and tried to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately the hotel scheduled maintenance on a Saturday during the summer. Shutting off water in your hotel is a big deal, and it's even worse that the times it was actually shut off wasn't the times they indicated it would. Forcing us to rearrange our lone day in the city after traveling from several states away is incredibly disappointing.

Only thing I didn't like was the pool was not open. But overall stay was excellent!! The hotel was in a good area. Down the street from Lenox mall. Had a lot of restaurants near, and also a Krogers was close by. You could also take peach tree street to get downtown, so we didn't have to get on the highway. I will be staying there again!

We stayed on June 18th, the hotel had renovations going on in the lobby, but no where else that we could see. The pool was closed, though did not appear to be under renovation, it was extremely small and really not more than a kids pool (3 ft deep all around) - it was quite dirty. The rooms were decent, but not what I normally expect from Homewood, there were a few stains on the carpet and a small spot of peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling - the room was clean though and the kitchen area wa... .... it was a week of headache and misery! I called the hotel a month and a half prior to make sure we would have minimal issues with our travel. I faxed a credit card authorization form to prepay for our room, that fell through due to staff. Upon arrival, our rooms were not ready, after driving for 10 hours, but I called before arriving to make sure they were ready. Then when we get into the rooms, they are hot!!!!! They said they are under renovations, which was clear, but prior to our arrival... Read more

I wasn't made aware of the construction status of the hotel when I booked it. You will have to enter from the rear of the hotel. The pool did not work. Please make sure to ask the staff about the pool before you get in. Room was comfortable and clean. The hotel will be nice once the upgrade is complete.

The hotel is under renovation and will be better when it's finished. The staff is friendly. The only issue I had was with the limited options for breakfast, but that may be a result of the renovations. I would stay here again.

Horrible experience, filthy facility. I checked in the Friday before but when we arrived, our suite was not available at all. We were then separated into two separate rooms on different floors. I had reserved a suite with a kitchen but when given the two rooms, no kitchen was given. I then argued and was given a long room with a kitchenette. And then the condition of the rooms being filthy was just icing on the cake of a horrible stay.

I booked what I thought was a suite using 30,000 points for a room advertised for $219/night. What I got was two double beds, a tv and that's it. No desk, chair, cups, or phone. Hotel is still "under construction" but there isn't much progress being made at the pace they are going at. The pool is out of service (great timing since its July) and the "light dinner" offered was salad and tortilla chips. What is worse is that none of this was disclosed even upon check in. I've stayed here in the past few years, but hotel rooms are ready for a facelift. I just didn't feel hotel met Hilton standards. I've never stayed in a hotel which offered a dishwasher which was not unloaded for each new guest. I was very surprised that it was a common practice to leave dishwasher full with clean dishes, though my experience had dirty dishes with a broken dishwasher.

In am a Hilton Life Time Diamond. Worst experience I have ever had at any Hilton property. Recommend Hilton pull their name from this hotel. None of the people during our stay at the makeshift desk (front being renovated) could care the least for your comfort. Run away as fast as you can from this place and never look back least you turn to a Pilar of Salt.

The staff of a hotel contributes to the 'make or break' of a hotel experience. This hotel lacks any resemblence of a customer care oriented environment. Staff was unattentive, lied to me, ignored my needs/requests. Managemnt never responded to me when I asked for a call. Too bad. The location was awesome.
