"When arriving at the hotel, check in went smooth with the exception of being put in a King side suite when I requested a double Queen. The agent quickly placed us in a double queen but it was located in the very back with a set of stairs to climb which was not good for me due to health problems. Because we were already exhausted, we decided not to complain. Expecting a more up-to-date unit, it was outdated and acess to the internet was not available for all wireless equipment, you had to use something like a phone jack therefore I couldn't pick up wireless. Linens to one of the beds were not fresh and smelled as if they were not changed. The computers in the lobby continued to freeze up making it difficult to effectively search information. There was never enough breakfast to accomodate all the guess, causing us to purchase food and prepare our own breakfast, which is why we selected the hotel to save $$$. Overall, the property was well kept, the shuttle only run at certain time so a car is necessary, but the living quarters need some rennovation and deep cleaning."

"The intention for my trip to Atlanta was due to a bachelorette party. I booked a suite that sleeps six. This was perfect because that's the number if girls we has going. Staying at the Hawthorne was not a great experience. The one major issue was their rule about towels. We only received 3 towels with wash cloths me was told that we would need to swap out the 3 towels to get more towels. I think the number of towels should be based on the number of people staying. So we had to wait approximately 30 minutes for the rest of the girls to get their towels. The staff was not friendly and overall found the experience for the bride less than. We probably won't stay at this hotel ever again"

"The stay was good and refreshing. The staff helped as much as needed. I would stay there again. The Suite was very nice but getting out dated. TVs started to fade out and the bathroom has water damage due to years of normal wear and tear. "
