The hotel is in a very convenient location to the downtown, shopping, colleges, and ballpark. It was new, clean, and the staff worked hard to make our stay comfortable even though there was a mix up in our reservation. Ask for a room on the parking lot side of the hotel because the traffic can be loud on the street side.

Enjoyed our stay and would use hotel again! Hotel is new! Was clean, mature and well managed. Even though there was an event going on in the hotel, it was still quiet and homey. Close to everything within walking distance or a short drive!

As pleasant a staff as I've ever encountered anywhere. Customer service skills are excellent! Each one I had any sort of exchange with was most helpful. They were also knowledgeable about local events and things going on in the area. Big pat on the back to all your staff in Rome, GA on the corner of Turner McCall & 2nd street I believe!

LOVED my stay at this hotel. It's a Hampton Inn Plus so many great extras you'd expect at a larger resort. So clean, new, fresh. Loved the room decor and layout of the hotel. Fantastic breakfast and fitness center. One of the best fitness centers I've found at a Hampton. Room was spacious and room was comfortable. High speed, free WiFi internet was outstanding...so fast. Great location in downtown Rome near Berry College. Highly recommend!

Very clean, nice and updated hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great, central location in Rome. Walking distance to the river and downtow Rome. I will definitely book this hotel again.

The hotel is brand new and has very beautiful rooms! The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is usual complimentary continental breakfast but staff makes sure that it is plenty full. I would totally recommend this hotel is you are around the area.

The Hampton Inn in Rome was nicely appointed. I would suggest getting a room away from the street noise (even number rooms). Staff was not great, but not awful. Housekeeping barely touched the room ....

We have stayed here multiple times since this hotel opened earlier this year. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. This hotel is convenient to Redmond Regional Medical Center & Harbin Clinic, as well as, many good places to eat.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful My booking was made separately and I did not realize I had made two different room types. The staff helped by moving us in the early part of the next day. Breakfast was ok. Lobby clean and neat. I would highly recommend hotel.

We stayed here to visit friends and go to Rome Braves game. Hotel was nice and well kept. Breakfast was fine, but we do not want much starch so we did not eat a lot. The outdoor area was very nice for visit with friends. Location is convenient to town, but area is not walkable.

This hotel is either brand new or recently renovated, so that was a plus. Not only did the lobby have a modern look, but the room was very well thought out/designed. They utilized the space nicely and we really like the modern touches. Everything was clean and the hotel was centrally located. Now, for the bad part... The hotel was very clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. I would request an even numbered room as the noise from the traffic facing the odd numbered rooms was very loud at night. The a/c in the room was very loud when it would come on, but I didn't mind that much since it drowned out the street noise.

Amazing staff!!! They were beyond helpful. They truly went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of! The rest of our stay was nice too! I liked the lobby and the breakfast was good. They kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. If we needed anything else, they were asking and offering us other choices. The manager took us on a tour of the hotel and made sure we had everything we needed.

This was our 3rd time to stay at this Hampton & will be staying 2 nights on our way back home from this trip. Hampton Inn was clean and comfortable and located near the downtown area convenient to the local shops, stores and restaurants. The staff was helpful with local directions and recommendations to shops and restaurants. I recommend this hotel for both business and personal travel.

The staff at the Hampton in Rome, GA were excellent. The hot breakfast was phenomenal. The pool, fitness center, business center, complimentary internet were great amenities to add to its value. The GM Penny is the BEST!

This hotel was very nice and clean. No overbearing air fresheners in the rooms. Staff was great! It was however a little more than what we normally pay for a one room. Guess it was worth the extra cost if you take into account the staff, extremely clean and updated hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel. Staff totally inflexible if itineraries change and impossible to get a manager to speak to or return a phone call. Still it is one of the cleanest hotels in Rome because it's new so if service isn't an issue this hotel is fine

So much nicer that the other Hampton on the outskirts of town. You can walk to Broad and enjoy a great day shopping or an good dinner. The hotel is brand new and is well appointed. I was upgraded to a nicer room upon arrival and I arrived early too. The staff was great.

Excellent location to downtown Rome, GA and a lot of restaurants within a block or 2. The whole staff at this Hampton Inn very efficient, helpful and friendly. We had several questions as to things to do in Rome, GA. The desk personnel would give us directions and recommend where we needed to have a nice meal plus things to do in the area. They really knew the area and what was going on to inform their guests.

Quick over night stay with the family, hotel was sold out that night, but staff was efficient & prepared. Got the larger Suite Room for the first time - we are hooked! Nice clean facility, friendly staff, always satisfied with Hamptons.

I was involved in an accident while passing through the area which required me to stay in town. These has to be the nicest people I have ever met, they are kind and compassionate and went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible, They kept check on me often, I am 49 yrs old male and few things make me emotional. I will never forget the caring and kindness they showed to me. Thanks so much!

Good location and our room was super clean and comfortable. The decorating was very trendy and I loved the sliding barn door to the bathroom. Would have given all five stars but it was quite pricy compared to some other Hampton Inns we have stayed in.

First off I want to say that Corrie who checked us in was awesome. Super friendly and we out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and asked all the right questions, made us feel at home. The room was very clean the hotel itself w a s very clean. Very nice, modern, and beautifully decorated--opened about six months ago. Conveniently located. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are very clean. Nice outside sitting area under pergola with fireplace. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon with coffee available.

This is not the place to make advanced reservations and expect that they will honor your reservation. My husband frequently travels to Rome to work and has has this hotel refuse to honor his reservation... twice. Printed out confirmation with confirmation number and dates of stay is meaningless at this hotel. Rome is a very busy place and hotels fill up quickly, so finding a replacement hotel is not easy and sometimes not possible.

I travel and stay at many Hampton Inn's throughout and this Hampton has the most wonderful staff and the hotel is spotless! I will definitely be returning. The staff has great attention to detail and make you feel as if you are apart of the family when you walk through the doors which is always great when traveling and being on the road.

The pool chemicals were not safe. They caused my children to feel as if their tongue's were on fire and then the water stripped their hair to a straw-like texture. The rooms were nice and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful staff, very clean, staff helped me know the best restaurants, directions, and overall great people. It was so full I never got to eat breakfast, packed both mornings. I did get coffee, but there was a lot of people. Quite pricey.

If you face the parking lot-you are OK the other side of hotel is about 8 feet from a VERY busy 4 lane highway right thru the middle of town- trucks blowing their air brakes-.18 Wheelers-motorcycles-all night long we had 2 white noise machines and the loud AC AND on the 4th floor-it was terrible it was the worst experience in a Hilton Brand Hotel Wish I could get a refund!

I give this hotel a ten. It was clean great service. The employees were so friendly and showed a personal interest in you. I loved the fact that when you leave a do not disturb sign they leave a bag of towels and other things at your door. So thoughtful you don't have to go ask.

After checking in to the hotel, I took my shoes off since I was traveling overnight. Once I stepped on the carpet in my room, I felt my socks absorb something wet. So I'm disgust I went to shower. had several issues at the hotel, asked to speak with the manager 3 times during my 2 night stay. Never heard from her, though she was going to call, and she was never available. will never stay somewhere where the manager can't call you. service is horrible

Location is horrible, on a busy road, staff was rude, manager never seemed to be able to speak with upset guest - no return call while in hotel or after checkout, and food at breakfast cold. After several attempts to speak with GM, finally resort to this- my first Trip post and it has to be negative. Someone in the hospitality industry should at least call you back. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Rome, GA. This is a brand new hotel. It is really lovely. The lobby is very nice. The patio is spectacular with the fireplace. The people here were above beyond. They were so welcoming. I felt as if I had known them my whole life, and I was coming home for a stay. Housekeeping made sure all was clean and well stocked, truly going the extra distance. I arrived a little early and they managed to get me a room early after a BIG weekend. The staff and culture of this particular facility were extremely welcoming and service oriented. An object fell out of my computer bag as I was leaving. I had a message on my phone, email and text before I reached my next destination. They sent it to me. My room was clean and well kept. Housekeeping really went the extra mile! There is a lot of traffic on the street side of the location, if you are a light sleeper request a room at the front of the building.

Our family stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. The hotel is within walking distance to the quaint downtown which includes a riverfront area. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel was great with the exception of Breakfast Food Quality. Quality was POOR. All Hilton properties should have Breakfast meals cooked to customer orders such as the Hilton Garden Inns. Rome Ga Hampton Inn STAFF WAS GREAT.

I was in town to serve as the Wedding Coordinator for a friend's wedding. I worked for several hours this morning setting up the reception decor and came back to the hotel to change to head over to the Chapel for the wedding and then to the venue for the Reception. We went to Rome this weekend for the high school football playoff game between Bainbridge and Rome. We decided to make a weekend of it and stay two nights. I'm so glad we did. Even though our team lost, we had a great time in Rome. It is a very pretty town. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel completely at home.

My husband and I stayed here one night a few weeks ago to watch our college son run in the SAA regional cross country meet held at Berry College. The entire team and some parents also stayed here. This is a nice, new hotel in the heart of downtown Rome. The rooms were clean the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the breakfast. We also loved the indoor pool. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is new and upgraded. We had courteous and personable employees at the front desk and breakfast bar. The rooms were VERY clean. Beds were soft and pillows fluffy. Proper charging ports for phones and laptops are built into the the side table between the beds. Very nice to have that convenience and not have to search for a wall outlet. An easy walk to downtown Rome to grab a bite or do some local shopping.

Everything about this stay was incredible. Having had surgery on my ankle and using a knee scooter, the staff was so very attentive and concerned with my stay. The rooms were fantastic....love the beds! The breakfast was just what we needed when we set off, not too big and just the right things to start the day. Will stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Among the nicer Hampton Inns, this hotel has a slightly up-scale lobby. The rooms are crisply appointed with comfortable beds, and little clutter. The fitness center is well equipped with convenient hours. Parking can be just a bit limited.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. Excellent customer service. The room was clean. I only stayed one night but it was a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel in Rome, GA.
