I was staying downtown for a music festival at Olympic Centennial Park, so the location was perfect for the festival since it was only a couple of blocks away. The room was clean and housekeeping did a good job each day. If I left for breakfast or lunch and returned, my room was usually already cleaned by the time I got back. All of the staff was very friendly and available. The only negative points for me were out of the control of the staff for the most part. One was that my room was on t... Read more

My family and I stayed in this hotel last week, and every day of our stay we were greeted and engaged by a vey sweet and genuine staff. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, every one was joyful and accomadating. The rooms were clean and the view from our room was great! If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay that has endless things to do within walking distance (Aquarium, Civil Rights Musuem, and Coca Cola Museum) this is it!

Check in took a long time and there were several people waiting behind me. The beds & pillows were comfortable. The towels were absorbent and smelled nice. Staff wasn't outgoing and accommodating - didn't ask if we needed anything, how the room was, etc. Breakfast was ok. It included the normal Hampton selection apart from fresh fruit choices and there weren't quite as many healthy condiments and toppings. I'd have preferred the bathroom entrance to be on the living room/kitchen side rather than... Read more

This is a small but very nice hotel. It's conveniently close (10 minute walk) to Olympic Park, CNN Center, and Philips Arena. Hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast is a nice feature. Be sure to check out Ted's Montana Grill up the street as it's a very nice restaurant.

It's an older facility but the staff takes good care of what they have. My room and bed were comfortable and the elevator is as fast as any I have been on. The housekeeping staff were always polite and pleasant and the front desk folks were professional and responsive to a need or two that I had. The breakfast buffet was better than some Hiltons/Hamptons but was somewhat repetitive; but that is OK since there was decent variety during my 5-day stay. We are locals but booked the hotel due to reviews and convenience to the Tabernacle (concert venue). I received an email that I could check in online early (day before) and select my room. There were website issues, so I called the hotel directly, and they booked me for a room that was available. Upon check-in, we were assigned a different room that was not in a desirable location...I asked to speak with a manager, and they said the traveler had decided to stay another night in our requested ro... I guess the higher price is because it is in downtown Atlanta, but overall it was just a so-so hotel. When we got to our room, there wasn't a shower curtain, and the toilet paper holder fell apart when it was touched. Despite having a/c controller, the room got warm during the night. Breakfast was blah. Won't likely choose this hotel again with the other options available.

This location is great if you are heading to the World Congress Center, Olympic Park, CNN and such. Good location for a walking experience of Downtown Atlanta. It has been remodeled from a historic building so some of the rooms are a little bit smaller than other Hampton Suites, but they are ok. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great location and staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about area attractions and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to visit downtown Atlanta. Close to Peachtree and Marta.

We had a great time in Georgia. This Hampton Inn was our first stop and set the tone for the rest of the journey. Would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and inviting, the staff was wonderful evening and the breakfast was good.

At check in I asked about the cots ( as we requested at reservation) were in the room. The front desk staff informed me they did not know anything about it. He would need to look for them. Do know it was already 11.30pm with 2 children under 2 with us. The receptionist just put the cots on the floor in front of the door in of our room while we were parking the car. Just dropped them with 1 sheet for each cot which were on top of the cots. We had to put them together in the room and to our frust... Read more

Well located but overpriced. The breakfast is very limited poor quality and short supply during the 5 nights we stayed. No bread no bacon available. The staff was great and helpful. WiFi was not very good too. This hotel can't cater for large group.

First of all, I want to say that the staff went above and beyond. From check in to cleaning service, I was impressed. However, this Hampton Inn is not as nice as other Hampton Inns. Especially since this hotel claims to offer services in some sites that it does not offer. I read that in some sites it claimed to have a pool, and in others that you could access the pool of partner hotels. Neither is true. Nor did it have a van to take you to places; you have to get a taxi. But other than that, m... Read more

Me and my sister with 4 kids age 4 and under in a suite. It was perfect location to walk to the the aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coca Cola. Also easy walk to MARTA and cable car. Building is a little older with some quirks but very comfortable and clean, very helpful staff. We needed a few things and they were provided promptly. Good breakfast.

I stay at many Hampton Inns, and while they are vary a little, each has met expectations. This property does not have a pool, but the location for the aquarium access was excellent and it is very close to other areas of interest downtown. We felt comfortable and secure during our stay.

We spent the weekend because we were attending an event at the World Congress Center. We initially chose the hotel because it was more economical then some of the other options. We were pleasantly surprised! The building has been completely renovated but retained it's historical charm. We had a king suite and it was huge! It's in easy walking distance to everything around centennial park. The only thing that's a little difficult is the parking. It seems to be in a public lot but the hotel provid... Read more

The Hampton Inn Atlanta Airport is conveniently located directly beside Hartsfield-Jackson/ATL. I love watching planes take off and land...but prefer a quiet night's sleep. I was pleasantly surprised that airplane noise was a non-issue! For my one night stay, I used the self-parking lot directly in front of the hotel. I did learn that they have a longer-term parking lot option available and an airport shuttle - great for business trips/holiday flights. After a long day at a seminar (with no lunc... Read more

Great centrally located hotel with helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was more then I expected and helped get the day started right. The staff pointed me in a safe direction for a 6 mile run. The room was very pleasant.

The hotel is very well located in Atlanta. In general, the experience was good, however, while I was there, the complimentary breakfast was never enough (probably because there were too many guests?), and guest rooms do not have a safe, which is a pain in the neck.

Another Hampton that doesn't match up to it's usually good standards. Everything just a little less here? Breakfast was very poor, minimal choices. Must say the staff were excellent. Just needs a little upgrade. Room had good Wi-Fi, HVAC in the room was brutal.

The parking is somewhat confusing so I paid a meter $5 for one hour because there were lots of towing signs that I was afraid to chance it. Also my total was $270 for a single night in a king room , plus $20 to park overnight . Way too much for the room and limited "free breakfast" . It was convenient to Phillips Arena however but even for a decent location it was way overpriced .

Friendly staff, clean rooms, convenient location, reasonable price. All you need! If you're looking for a fancy 5-star hotel decked out to the nines, this isn't the place, but that's not what I want. I had bedbugs. I caught some and showed staff, who moved me to a better room. But no management contacted me, no compensation was offered, and it takes a lot of emails to get responses to my ongoing concerns. Some of my property was destroyed as staff sought to wash and dry everything at high temperatures to remove lingering bugs. Until I identified the source of all my bites, everything was fine: staff are very nice and helpful, wifi is excellent. Just a bit noisy because of single-glazed windo... Read more

One thing if was cheap but it isn't. Felt safe enough but that is about the best I can say. Rooms outdated and in disrepair (first time a toilet seat actually fell off). Poor service (forgot something and they made me go to the front desk).

Very courteous staff. Room was large, clean, and well kept. Very comfortable beds and towels. Hotel WIFI was fast and easy to connect to. Complimentary breakfast, coffee, and cookies were terrific. It's not a large, glitzy hotel, but the service was second to none and overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn instead of at the more expensive conference site. A wise choice, which afforded us good walking around downtown ATL. Gracious staff who were extremely helpful, if in ATL again for work, this is the first hotel I will check.

The conference I attended was at the Westin Peachtree but I opted to stay at the Hampton just next door and was really happy with my choice. It was more affordable, everything was comfortable and clean, and there was a complimentary breakfast and fast internet for free. I just had to walk across the street to attend conference events or wander around downtown, and it was easy to get a shuttle service to pick me up there as well (not included in the stay). The staff was really nice too!

I am quite picky when it comes to hotels because I work in housekeeping department at a "5 star" hotel/casino in Biloxi, MS that I would never want to ever stay in. However, this was the complete opposite with the Hampton Inn & Suites. My wife and I left quite impressed with our stay. We spent a week looking at hotels and happy that we did not settle and came up with such a great find at the last minute. I do not understand some of these negative reviews left behind. Our family of five spent two nights at this Hampton Inn in downtown Atlanta. The hotel is very nice. The lobby is beautiful. Parking is easy. The room was nice. Breakfast was what you would expect and the staff was great. The only problem was our room was never cleaned even though we were gone all day. but the housekeeping staff was very nice and gave us fresh towels. This hotel is on a great location to walk to the major attractions downtown.
