The hotel is very convenient if you are visiting Emory University or the CDC. The hotel's exterior is quite lovely, but the interior could use a little more personality. The lobby is very nice, but not fantastic. Our room was very generic, but very clean. The concierge staff was extremely helpful. They helped me out several times by answering all my questions and helping me with transportation. The shuttle bus drivers were also extremely friendly and helpful.

This is a beautifully designed craftsman style hotel that is quite a retreat in a busy city like ATL and convenient to Emory and the CDC. As there was no conference when I stayed, it was very quiet and felt like a secluded hotel in the mountains. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. From the server in the bar who let me in 10 minutes for closing for a nightcap to the concierge who was cheerful and so welcoming. When checking out, I forgot a phone charger and Courtney saved the d... Read more

This hotel is a hidden gem. If I were not attending an event on Emory's campus, I would not have known about it. Now, I will look forward to staying there anytime I'm in Atlanta. The decor was great, good was excellent in the hotel and the local restaurant and service was superb.

We love to stay here and have never been disappointed. Close to busy Clifton Rd, but so quiet, you don't even realize it. The outside is wooded and landscaped so pretty; the inside is so inviting. Many wedding receptions, parties, bar mitzvahs, business meetings, etc. Restaurants inside, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, lobby fireplace, bowling alley, and a full spa. It is so inviting and special. The rooms are so comfortable. The rooms have a small balcony. My only concern is the shower in... Read more

We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family who live near Emory. At Thanksgiving it was fairly busy; staying between Christmas and New Year's it was virtually empty. My kids enjoy the pool and it is a good location. There is a newish mall with restaurants next door, which means there are places to eat or buy light groceries within walking distance.

Very quiet, very comfortable. Just what we needed after an exhausting day at Emory hospital with family. Highly recommend. Nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful view from room. Very friendly staff. Will come back!

The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The staff are also quite helpful. The presence of restaurants and a grocery store at Emory Point within walking distance make staying there a lots more convenient.

We were in town for a family function, so were not there to take advantage of the conference center or proximity to Emory. It's a beautiful hotel with spacious common areas. Our room was in the south wing, which has more spacious, modern bathrooms than the main building. Although it takes a little getting used to to understand the layout of the complex and its relationship to the new shops on Clifton Road (the main drag), there are several affordable restaurants within walking distance. The first time I reviewed this hotel, I mentioned how great the location and the employees were. However, I said that the rooms were outdated, vents were rusty, and appliances were old. Well, this time everything was perfect. They have renovated the rooms, but everything that makes this hotel one of the best ones in Atlanta is still there.
