If you are going to Atlanta, do yourself the favor and stay here!! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the friendliest, most professional employees I've ever encountered, and I work at a hotel myself. Newly renovated, the atrium is amazing!!! The bar and bar staff were incredible, as well as the shuttle drivers and security guards!! Also, close enough to the airport to move about the city via MARTA, but quiet enough to sleep perfectly!! Nice entrance, but rooms show their age. Majorly stained popcorn ceilings. Paint pealing in the bathroom (not a little, a lot). Room smelled musty and the WIFI is 10 times slower than 1990's dialup. Beds were lumpy. I had a reduced rate and feel like I got taken staying here.

We were going to be staying here for 4 nights for a family trip to Atlanta to visit Six Flags and other area attractions. When we arrived, the interior of the hotel looked beautiful and we were excited to stay here because it looked like everything had just been recently renovated. We had to wait to check-in since we arrived early, so we went to Six Flags for a few hours. Later in the day, the hotel called to tell us the room was ready so after check-in we got the roomâ?¦ the room was very war... Read more

Ladies and Gentlemen: This is my complaint regarding Embassy Suites and Hilton Brands. I'm not posting this to stir up drama, but so that you can be informed that even the best hotel/restaurant chains can be negligent. Caveat Emptor! Let the buyer beware. Given the lack of response from Hilton Hotel Brands and The Embassy Suites regarding my complaint about getting sick at their Atlanta Airport Embassy Suites location, other than a routine statement that the matter was being looked into, I am ad... I didn't have the problems that other people described. Our suite was very nice and spacious and like how the hotel was re-done. Very nice look. Very close to the airport. I wasn't too happy that I had to check in first, then park the car. A little inconvenient since I was travelling with kids. As a traveler TO the Atlanta, I felt I was being penalized for locals who may use the parking here as an alternative to parking at the airport when travelling.

I have stayed at various Embassy Suites throughout the States and these rooms are exceptionally nicer than the others. Their were lots of guests this night. Birthday celebrations and such, but we were very comfortable in our rooms and did not hear any disturbances. The hotel staff were super nice and accommodating. My husband was more than pleased with the breakfast and we all (my husband, myself and our 2 children who are 9 & 5) thought this was the best Embassy breakfast that we have ever had... Read more

Nice and very friendly atmosphere. We were a little leery to book at this location from earlier reviews about hotels located near the airport. However, we felt safe on the property. Not many dining choices near the hotel, but dining at the ES was very good. The pool was nice. Easy access for traveling in to ATL. Took someone's advice to secure a room on the opposite side of the airport to avoid loud engines. Will book again!

The staff at this hotel was very gracious, the service was great and the lobby is beautiful. The staff even returned items that I accidentally left in my room after I checked out - items that could have easily been thrown away but were important to me. I was thankful for that consideration. Good business hotel for location and amenities.

This hotel was very nice, clean, and the happy hour and breakfast were outstanding. The service and workers were so friendly and helpful. This hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere but after staying here with a restaurant and bar we were fine for one night. Its all redone on the inside and its very beautiful. The only reason for not five stars is that my girls wanted to swim and both pools looked a little foggy and unclean. Other than that we would defintly stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location, and the upkeep is good. However when I arrived there was a line at the counter and it took 25 min to check in. This was after I had booked room on line. They also did not recognize my hotel chain membership. In the morning they did not leave a receipt under the door so on my way out I stop at desk to get a copy, 15 min due to the line at the desk. Hotel parking lot was under construction which made parking a little inconvenient since they didn't have enough parking to accommodate all the guests once we tried to park in allotted areas. Also each lot was gated and it was challenging to get in and out of the half of the lot that wasn't closed because it was an exit only so you had to come in and get someone to open the gate. The lobby was beautifully renovated but the large bar turned out to make for loud gatherings into the late evening.

Since it was late and I had to get up the next morning early I waited to tell the hotel at checkout. I was told the GM would call me to see what could be done to rectify this. The service in this hotel is not up to Hilton standards by a long shot. I sat at the bar for over 30 minutes before being served. The conversation at the bar was the poor service. The bartender was wearing a dirty t-shirt. I went to my room which was on the top floor and could not work because the noise level was so loud. I called the Hilton Diamond phone number and they could not hear me. I had to go into the bedroom and close the door so they could hear my complaints.

Spent 3 weeks in the area at 2 other hotels close by that are owned by a different hotel chain and absolutely hated them. I didn't even know there was an Embassy Suites in the area until I just happened to drive by it. I could not be happier that I am there. I work out in the morning and the hotel gym is above par for hotel gyms. The breakfast is free and is by far the best breakfast you will find. Not only do you get made to order omelettes, but have like 5-6 hot items to choose from like... Read more

Very clean and remodeled décor in the lobby. Nice place to stay when arriving in Atlanta. Hotel was a little off the path but easy to find from the highway. The rooms were updated with nice furniture and flat screen televisions. The only problem I experienced was a poor selection of wine for the evening reception, but overall a very friendly staff.

When our children were younger we frequently stayed at the Embassy Suites - sofa bed for them, private room for us, free cocktails in the evening, and free made to order breakfast. For a family, it was ideal when travelling. As empty nesters,we wandered a little in our hotel stays and to be frank, the Embassy hotels started to look a little worn. This hotel at the Atlanta airport brought us back to the brand and in a BIG way. The hotel has a very upscale and modern decor. The staff from the rece... Read more

Although the lounge and bar and outside areas were very clean and presentable, my room was far from what I would expect from an Embassy suites. 1.) My bathroom sink was almost completely clogged so I had to continue to rinse it (brushing my teeth) until everything was able to finally go down the drain. 2.) The AC was not working properly at all. I tried to turn it down all the way to 66 degrees and nothing happened. I requested a fan from the front desk and that made my room temperature bearable... Read more

My family of 3 stayed here on a busy Saturday night in late summer. I like this brand but was particularly interested in the price point; it was far more competitive than other facilities of brand in the area. Honestly, the outside is quite dated and looks like an aging La Quinta. I actually asked the front desk about facility history and was informed that it's always been an Embassy (20+ years). It appeared that they were refurbishing during my visit, though, in their defense. The locati... Read more

The rooms are spacious, but a little dark. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly from check-in to dinner in the lounge, to breakfast the next day, and right through checkout. The hotel offers laundry service, even if there are no forms in the room. The desk staff have a supply of the forms.

Two employees that really stood out are Monique and Curtain. They both were extremely welcoming, attentive to our needs and overly gracious. A job WELL done!!!!!!

Overall experience was poor. An Embassy Suites hotel located near the busiest airport in the world, should offer full time shuttle to the airport. The staff was not helpful in arranging cab, in fact I had to call for my own, because the front desk failed to call for a 5am cab as promised. Too many other hotel choices to overpay for a small room, with poor service to and from the airport.

I have many great reviews of Embassy Suites across the US. This is NOT one of them! We got a bit nervous when we arrived because the place was a mess, it went down hill from there...The kids pointed out right away that there were bugs in the bed. I have NEVER seen this at any Hilton property. IMHO this property should be closed. After this horrible visit I wrote a formal complaint. Disgusting inside and out. Complimentary drinks and appetizers for cocktail hour as well as complimentary breakfast. Excellent seevice. Only downside was that I was not overly impressed by the restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.

Went to have dinner at a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10pm, after sitting down, was told it was closed and to go to the bar and get service there. Bar staff couldn't even be bothered to come and take a drink order. Take your business elsewhere, this Embassy Suites is definitely not worth staying at.

We had an overnight layover in Atlanta so booked a suite so we could sleep and be comfortable. The hotel itself was clean, well appointed, and our room was very comfortable. When we arrived at the hotel on 10/29/16, the lobby it was packed with about 150 people enjoying the complementary happy hour. While this was not the worst hotel experience of my life, it wasnâ??t too far off as so many things went wrong during the 1 night I was there: - The shuttle bus from the airport is 15 passenger van rather than a proper shuttle bus which is pretty uncomfortable when there are more than a couple of people waiting for the shuttle (perhaps they have a larger shuttle during other times). - After check-in I was stuck in an elevator for about 8 minutes with a couple of other guys. We missed the our connecting flight and had to stay overnight until next morning. This hotel was a great experience, the food was delicious and great customer service too. Needed a few items here and there that were left in the luggage and they had it all in the convenience store there in the hotel. The room was really nice too, the black out curtains helped for a good night's rest. Great experience at this hotel, if I'm ever stranded again in Atlanta, will definitely look this hotel up again.

I was told too bad couldn't check in and couldn't tell me when I could. First I had to wait for "the meeting" to be over". I dined on Monday, November 14 around 730 pm and the wait at the restaurant was totally unacceptable. It took an hour for them to bring my sandwich and for over 30 minutes my waiter was not in site. When someone else stopped by to "see if I needed a menu", they simply shrugged and mentioned that the kitchen was backed up and walked off when I said I had been waiting for 45 minutes for my food! As a Hilton Honors member, I've stayed at many Embassy Suites hotels nationwide. I chose this one because of my flight the next day out of the Atlanta airport and I wanted to avoid the Monday morning traffic in Atlanta, which is horrible if you're coming from practically anywhere in Atlanta as the airport is south of Atlanta. The hotel is in a great spot if you are planning on flying out the next day. It's safe, comfortable and despite some age, renovated enough to still feel modern & updated. But wait... there's one big catch. Because it's across the street from the airport you will hear the huge roar of jet takeoffs every few minutes from 5am to 1am, and the landing approach of hundreds of other airliners in between those take offs.
