This Hotel was under going renovation when We stayed however when we arrived it was clear this hotel should of been closed due the inconvenience and appearance ! The staff on arrival were unhelpful and we had to find our own baggage trolley to transport our bags to our room !! The room itself was less than satisfactory and needed to have a good clean and updated, the smell was terrible !! We asked if there were any refurbished rooms and told there were not ! I chose Double tree because typically, they are nice Hilton hotels with an atrium in the middle. I got there and the renovation was happening, which I understood from the website. When I checked in, I was not informed of breakfast times, any food options, or welcomed back as a Hilton Honors member. I'm currently at another Double Tree now in Denver and the hospitality flaws that lacked in Atlanta show in comparison. The carpet in my room was dirty, the bathroom door had gashes in the botto... I read in advance that hotel was undergoing renovations, so this was no shock upon arrival. However, the fact that my request for a crib went unfilled, nearly 48 hours in advance of our stay, was disappointing to say the least. My wife, daughter and I arrived at the hotel around 11pm after a late night flight (this notice was also provided to the front desk). Kevin at the front desk seemed completely frazzled and overwhelmed, attempting to juggle a number of things. By the way, I had to go bac... Read more

This hotel was nice for the price I paid on hotwire. It was easy to jump on and off of the interstate. Walking distance to a few food places. I didn't like having to pay and extra $10.00 a day for parking. I feel like parking should be free.

Depending on your room breakfast is not free. Breakfast was good. Was not told that Construction was going on so no pool access. After being out touring Atlanta you may or may not have parking. So you will need to create a parking space and pray no one hits your car

even though the agents were very kind, just the overall feel of the hotel had me feeling indifferent. Generally with Hilton, its hard for me to leave because its so nice, but this time, I was ready to go (didn't even use the shuttle). Who knows, maybe its due to construction, but overall I was ok, just wish it was better.

Just said for one night, so it was doable, but I can't believe DoubleTree has their name on this hotel. Everything is so old and warn. The lobby is under renovation, but that won't fix the nasty hallways, elevators, and rooms. Our shower was stained and very unappealing. The gentleman who checked us in was nice, but the guy at the front desk the next morning was a real piece of work. Not welcoming or helpful at all. Would not recommend it. I stayed here only 1 night while on a business trip. While there was ongoing construction, it was contained, clean, and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable and, quite frankly, I had the best sleep that I had on a long time as the mattress and pillows were extremely cozy! Free coffee on the way to the airport using their free shuttle also saved some money and was conenient. I didn't use the restaurant, but breakfast smelled yummy! I would use this hotel again.

Close to airport is the best I can say about this hotel. More than the lobby needs updating & cleaning. Last & most importantly the staff needs costumer service retraining. It didn't live up to most of my previous Doubletree encounters.

The Hilton is the best value for your money. Stayed here for an early flight the next day. Have stayed here before several years ago. The warm cookies and reasonable cost were attractive. Had three problems 1. Missing strainer in sink causes water to go everywhere. 2. Shower arm is turned toward wall making it hard to get a good shower 3. Entry light snaps and crackles when switch turned on. I'll give this list on checkout. Still would stay here again.

I've stayed at plenty of airport hotels in Atlanta and this was one of the worst. Air traffic was extremely loud in the rooms. The worst part wasn't the planes, however, it was the toilets. I stayed in this hotel twice because its approximaty to the ATL Hartsfield airport. First time on the night of checking in, I found cleaning equipments everywhere next to the 4th floor elevator. Finger/Toe nails on the carpet under the desk in my room. I complained to the front desk and they send someone in to clean it manually. Second time after I stayed in this hotel I have been charged $150 penalty for alleged smoking in the room. I have never smoked in my life. I called hotel numerous times... Read more

My room has no garbage bin in it. Housekeeping just put garbage bags in my room each day. The pillows were wet and soggy smelling. My toilet kept getting clogged and the front desk agent was annoyed at the fact that I kept calling. The pool and hot tub were full of leaves and dead bugs! I will not stay here again if my company continues to use this place as a venue

I had the most horrible experience at this hotel. I checked in on September 24th and accidentally left my keys on the table near the elevator. I asked the front desk if any keys were left and they told me no keys were returned. I checked my car and my keys weren't there. My friends and I asked the front desk multiple times about my keys in which each time they said no one turned any keys in. Called a locksmith and had my car unlocked because at this time I'm thinking maybe the keys were there. N... Read more

My room was clean and comfortable at check in. Front desk staff and breakfast crew friendly and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast food was ok. Fresh eggs would be nice. Rude lady at checkout. Front desk may not be her calling because she checked in a friend of mine who felt the same way about her checkin experience.

Went to their website to reserve a room. Information was put in for one date and it said hurry only one room left, got confirmation for the next date. Called to cancel the reservation and was told it was with Expedia. No where does their website mention Expedia. The male clerk who answered the phone was a pompous jerk. Another phone line ringing meant he had no time to deal with a petty customer who had a Bait and switch occur. Beware, if you have to make changes or cancel, you can't do it with ... Read more

This location does not hold the Hilton Standard I have come to expect as a seasoned business traveler. If you must stay here, I do not recommend rooms on any floor except 6 and 7, the Hilton Honors floor. I had to change rooms due to a leaky (more like running nonstop) bath tub. Good luck finding anyone at the front desk. I called and went downstairs, no attendant for minutes. Finally, a man with a sandwich hanging out of his mouth appeared. The rooms are not properly cleaned. I found trash and ... Read more

This hotel was OK. Room met standard, and staff was friendly. It has a bar but no restaurant. It has free internet for HHonors members. Pretty low rate, too. It seemed like a former lower level place that was upgraded. But, unlike the Hilton Airport that had sound proof glass, this one was just the opposite: one can hear the all the airport noise and all the local traffic...every plane, every car, every truck. I'll stick with the Hilton next time.

The room is clean and efficient with free wifi. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is reasonably priced. There is a small fitness room as well. The room service menu is good and reasonably priced. They have frequent shuttle service to/from the airport. The room rate is competitive and reasonable. The hotel itself is old and not fancy at all but if you stay near the airport for business, you won't have any complaint/problem. Staffs are friendly.

For a Hilton property, a bit lacking. Excellent service by the staff, especially the bartender. The tub in the room was fiberglass and beginning to peel. Ate three meals there, and none of them served with a garnish. No instructions on how to operate the TV, and no guide to channels. Supposedly had HBO, but never could find it. Attended a conference at the hotel. The staff did a good job, but had to notify the front desk on the state of the public men's room.

First, let me say that if you stayed here before the remodel, give it another try. Everything has been updated inside. The new beds are really comfortable. The food from the restaurant is good and the staff is nice. It is such a bargain for what you pay. It is rarely over $150 per night.

Stayed there on Sunday night so I could catch an early flight on Monday morning. The shuttle driver was great. The server at breakfast on Monday was great. The clerks at check in and at check out were rude, inattentive and had some misplaced arrogance. The parking attendant charged $10 for a friend to park for 1 hour although the posted rate was $5. The breakfast buffet was limited. There are numerous other hotels in the immediate area that would be my choice next time. No real reason to return ... Read more

Very nice, still had that new smell from renovations. Liked the free snacks and soda. Doorman arranged for special shuttle trip to get us to the Int'l terminal and our driver, Tay, was great fun and a lot of help with our numerous, and heavy, bags. We will be back should the need arise.

Staff was very professional for the entire trip. Ate is restaurant 3 nights and enjoyed- good food at reasonable prices. Was a little disappointed in the room- bathroom very small- and did not have a microwave. How can you have a coffee maker and a fridge but no microwave? Bed very comfortable and noise level from airport was pretty mild. All in all enjoyed the visit.

Great value stay near the airport. The park and stay option and the shuttle to the airport (which runs every 30 minutes) were very convenient. We wanted something budget friendly near the airport. Double Tree did not disappoint- clean & comfortable!

En route from Gatlinburg to New Smyrna Beach, stopped in Atlanta for Chihuly Exhibition at the Botanical Gardens (EXCELLENT!! Park & exhibit.) This very modern/sleek hotel has a Scandanaian feel. Very comfortable, large rooms, surprisingly quiet considering you could watch the coming-n-going aircraft at ATL. Very friendly and accommodating staff, enjoyed the abundant breakfast buffet and the takeaway food from the lobby lounge/bar was very good. Hilton Honors parks complimentary.

Check-in process was unprofessional. All charges were paid in full at check-in along with an additional $25 fee. Room was not cleaned until after 7:00pm and bed linen NEVER changed even after reporting to front desk twice. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. The BEST service was provided from staff who worked in dining area.

I was greeted by Jazmine B, who was very nice. She also was kind enough to provide me with a room upgrade. The rooms were very quiet and very clean. I had no disturbances at all. The stay was short and sweet. The entire staff was so accommodating, getting us a fridge and microwave. But Candice from the house keeping staff was exceptional. Not only was the room cleaned with excellence but she made sure we had enough coffee (no decaf please) and extra face clothes. Thank you Candice!!

I spent just one day/night and I was quite surprised at how nice it was. I believe the property had just gone through extensive renovation but it still showed signs of aging especially around the elevator. The lobby was nice, the room was new and modern and wi-fi was good. Being a Hilton gold member, I got free hot breakfast, free valet parking and free water so no complaints there. Overall, I would consider staying here again.

Did a park and stay before a flight out of ATL. Got a great room rate and a week of parking included. The hotel just recently underwent a renovation and everything was very fresh and clean. We were offered an upgrade through our Hilton Honors and the room was a very large corner room with very nice bedding and toiletries. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean rooms, very comfortable. Don't expect the usual complimentary morning coffee in the lobby you're used to at Doubletree hotels, however. If you have to have it, it'll cost you $4 for a machine brewed cup of instant! Ouch! Save your money and hit the Starbucks at the airport instead.

This is one of the only hotels that I know of around the airport that gives free parking to diamond members.. Hotel has a small bar that will do in a pinch but you can tell not much thought was put into it.. Rooms are big and comfortable, good TV channels, good parking lot, close to front of hotel. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.
