Stayed for a wedding being held nearby. When I made reservation I was told I would have to pay 30 bucks for valet parking for one night. I was prepared to do that and then at check in was told valet parking was full and I would have to "self-park" at a city lot. Got off elevator on eighth floor only to be met with an awful smell- like BO. Got to room and opened door and smell was even worse. Did not have time to go fight with management since I had to go figure out parking before wedding. ... Read more

Stayed here for three days as part of a softball tournament. On second day, returned to the room at 3:30pm, had no towels, and room had not been cleaned. Spoke to Front Desk twice, and Manager on Duty twice before we could even get towels sent up. Got dressed and went out to dinner, returned 11pm, and room had still never been cleaned. No apology, no follow up. Manager on Duty "Daniel" was extremely aloof and couldn't be bothered. Bar/restaurant service EXTREMELY slow. Only one bartender ... Read more

I haven't stayed at many Crown Plazas, but this was a nice hotel. The rooms were big, clean, and updated. The common areas of the hotel looked recently updated as well and were inviting. I will say, the front desk is pretty small for a hotel of this size and leaves a little bit to be desired. But the staff are very friendly. The only caution I have about this hotel is that it is right next to the freeway. So, you do hear the traffic through the window. This didn't really bother me as it ... Read more

I was first assigned a room where I could hear a barking dog next door when there shouldn't be any pets on that floor. I was told by hotel staff that the third floor only allowed pets. I requested for another room, upon entering this room, it appears to be still occupied. (Safety and security concern?) The hotel did not have other rooms available. So I compromised along with no choice but to take back original room. Service recovery was not offered until asked and what was offered was not up to ... Read more

The room has been updated. Unfortunately our room was very noisy at night, not only from the traffic, but also from the other guests. Not much insulation in the walls and doors. Another disappointment was the hall smelled musty. Not very pleasant. I would choose elsewhere next time in Atlanta.

A very nice hotel located in Midtown Atlanta. The hotel is modern, clean, and very spacious. There is ample sitting in the lobby with a lobby bar and restaurant. There is a separate restaurant for breakfast. Staff was exceptionally helpful, pleasant and polite. Our room was spacious with ample closet space. I was on a travel day, so spent the day in my room, catching up on my laptop chores. The room was comfortable and spacious, so I could easily do my chores, with our cases spaced out. We had more than enough room to unpack everything, and then re-pack, while I still had my laptop running. my mum went out & about while I was working away, and said the hotel was in an OK location for that, but not as central as it could be. Overall the hotel was pretty good. The room was a good layout but the bathroom door didn't close. The TV didn't not have any picture controls and I found the image quite dark. I ordered room service which took over an hour to deliver and wasn't very good. It was a Cobb salad which is pretty hard to mess up in my opinion. This is day 1 of my visit to this hotel. Upon my arrival, I sat in my vehicle for about maybe 10 minutes watching valet sitting with guest and talking. There was no sense of urgency to move my vehicle out of the way. Eventually, I ended up self parking because valet had suggested that it would be easier. We had a wedding block of 30 rooms on a busy weekend, and all our guests commented on their satisfaction with the hotel and its amenities. Now that the renovations are finished, the noise level is minimal, the lobby with its coffee shop and bar is fun and the pool area is wonderful, especially with a group. We also hosted a breakfast in the 25th floor event space that had a spectacular view and the food, setup and attentiveness of staff was perfect.

Although the location is good the service room and ability to get an elevator are miserable. I went to get ice yesterday and had to wait for an elevator for 35 minutes. Today while checking out we waited over 45 minutes for an elevator. We are now sitting here waiting on our car from valet and it's been over an hour. The check in desk and property are shared between the Crowne Plaza and another brand. The location is near midtown, good for the hospital but not an area that you want to walk around in too late. The Crowne Plaza Hotel in midtown Atlanta was a pleasant stay. My mother and I had a wonderful trip in Atlanta while staying at the Crowne. The proximity of the train to the hotel also made it simple to commute to and from the airport. During our stay Mr. Derrick Reid created an atmosphere that exemplified sophistication, class, and friendliness. We were well taken care of both times we dined in at the hotel restaurant for breakfast (Absolutely the best breakfast, using all fresh ingredients), h... Read more

We recently had our semi-annual meeting at this hotel and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The hotel staff were amazing and accommodated several last minute requests we made. The hotel is newly renovated so the décor is very modern and very classy. We had morning and afternoon breaks as well as a reception and the food was outstanding. The reception was on the 25th floor and you can see the entire city from the floor to ceiling windows. At night the view is breathtaking. Th... Read more

We were vacationing in the Carolinas and driven inland by hurricane Matthew. Screw that hurricane. Anyway. This hotel was in walking distance of great restaurants, Centennial park, the coke tour, the aquarium, CNN, and a bunch of other stuff. We parked our car and it didn't move for a few days. Btw $15 a day for parking. The hotel was nice, very clean and good service. The beds were comfy, we elected for the king. Even though the hospital was right down the road it was pretty quiet from ... Poor and rude service except at the coffee stand and bell service. The coffee stand was a pleasant experience. Rude staff coupled with a terrible location, maintenance that is not kept up date, corner cutting in just about every area one would expect from a "fake nice" hotel. Example, all the sub group performance hotels that have sprung up with very attractive lobby's and high prices, yet rooms, services, amenities, and staff are severely lacking. This hotel fits this description perfectly. The... Read more

I had a very good time during my stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel. The staff were very friendly and serviceable. The valet staff brought my car around in a timely manner and always had a smile on their face. The front desk answered all my questions and fulfilled our requests.

This is a great hotel in midtown near everything! Favorite part was the barista, Jordan Carroll in the cafe! He and Sam were friendly and made a mean Americano! The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating. I will stay here again!

I actually stayed at Staybridge while here in Atlanta. I was super nervous about being able to get a really good cup of coffee during my extended stay in Atlanta. Jordan and Sam were awesome - amazing cortados every day that rival my favorite coffee place in LA. They even remembered my order and if I happened to be stuck on a call they'd hook up the coffee without me even asking - thank you for the great coffee service!!
