Good quality/ price for this hotel. The personal were so nice and always happy for give us information or service. The hotel is old and it need a refurbishment. But it's ok because the room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was very good. It's good quality / price close to Atlanta center (30 min walk)

The hotel was pretty nice. The lobby was clean and the room was for the most part clean except for the carpet which was seriously nasty and outdated throughout the hotel. The problem we had was all the people hanging out in the parking lot and the hallways. I had a group of people yelling 'hey b****h' as I was trying to get something out of my car. Said something to the clerk at the desk and she shrugged. Apparently this is normal here. People in the halls yelling and running around all night, m... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The hotel is basic but ideal. It is cheap and that is reflective of the hotel. The rooms are old but functional however they are very spacious. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean. The hotel is in walking distance to the Georgia dome, Georgia aquarium, world of coca cola and many other tourist attractions. The staff are nice and helpful. If your on a budget and expect what you pay for then this is a good hotel for you.

Dirty, the kind of dirty that you never want to walk barefoot. When I first got to my room I saw there were urine stains on the toilet. The carpets desperately need to be vacuumed and the floors desperately need to be washed

I've stayed in this hotel numerous times for the Honda Battle of the Bands each year in January since about 2013. This hotel is average at best. All of the hotels have different carpeting and furniture is different in each room, and some of the rooms of the same style are different sizes (for example two rooms with double beds wouldn't have the same size room, bathroom, etc). Other than that, its ok for the location of the Dome and the group rate that we always get. Wouldn't pay full price to st... Read more

The bad reviews of this motel are correct. It needs serious renovations. The day I was checking out the water was barely working , good thing I was leaving. This is definitely not a place to bring your family or your wife/girlfriend. The only good thing is the free parking but it does not make up for the poor quality the motel.

Upon entering the lobby, we believed the hotel was nice enough. The lobby is updated and nice. As soon as you walk away, everything changes! The elevator was slow, shaky, and smelled like weed. The hallway had dirty carpets and dim lighting. Our room was disgusting. There was a sticky substance on our nightstand that was there the entire time we stayed. The bathroom had mold and was not cleaned. One night, the shower completely lost water pressure & turned off in the middle of my shower. The sof... Read more

The outside and lobby looked nice but our room wasn't completely clean. There was some spots on the carpet and dust and grim in the bathroom around the window sills and bathtub. The staff was nice though. Don't eat at the Burger King across the street, it is horrible!

Did you not see the tittle? RUN, stay in any other place but here. This place is very deceiving, the front of the 'hotel' looks very nice and updated, the lobby has a modern look, very clean and chic. However, the room on itself were horrible: 1. "hotel" room had a very very strong musky smell - It probably was from the fungus growing from the air conditioner. 2. the beds are hard and probably as old as the building it self. 3. carpets are disgusting and dirty full of stains (didn't want to ta... Stayed for a weekend. The neighborhood is not great but we never felt unsafe. The room was clean but needed some improvements. On our last day we discovered a bit of an ant problem, and Patrice at the front desk was super happy to have us move rooms. With a little work and some upgrades, this could probably be a great place to stay.

This hotel accomplished what i wanted it do, that is to provide accomodation at night...apart from that ..the outside looks very nice, the lobby and public areas as well but this belies the truth once you get on that elevator...everything is dated 1995 decor, dark old carpets with a smokey scent and the walls are somewhat thin, so you can hear and can be heard. The gym consists of a treadmill and one other machine and the wifi works best in the lobby, if youre in a far away room wifi. There... Read more

Room was ok. Wifi was not. Front desk clerk, Ebony, was very helpful in making sure we got the best room for our family. Nice to have the included breakfast. Also great location if you planning to go sightseeing downtown.

I was moving cross country so I decided to get a cheap hotel in Atlanta since I would be arriving late at night. This place was a disaster. The room smelled bad, the fire alarm was dangling from the ceiling, there was hair in the shower, gum stains in the carpet, outlets by the bed were painted over so couldn't even charge anything, and when I pulled up the sheets three spiders ran across the bed. The location is also pretty rough, homeless people were walking through the parking lot late at nig... Read more

This hotel is terrible. It was such a disappointment, the outside looks great until you get to the hallway. The elevator was dingy and the bathrooms were tiny. The hotel looked like an upgraded Motel 6. It should be a motel and no a hotel. Homeless folks asking for change as soon as you walk out, it was terrible. I would not wish this hotel on anyone. Runnnnnnn, do not stay!!!

First. Our check in experience was awful. The person who booked our room had come in and filled out paperwork in advance to get us a room and ensure we could check in. We arrived in Atlanta at about 11pm. Randey and Chris checked us in. there were issues with the check in and we Chris and Randey were audibly speaking negatively about the person who was trying to clear up the issues. The person was clearly frustrated because our credit card information was misplaced by employees. Beyond the lobb... Read more

At a pinch. I choose this hotel for proximity to the Georgia Dome. First impression was very good, but redecorating the reception area doesn't disguise the quality of the rooms. I wish to point out that service here is excellent. The room I had was rundown, carpets were fraid and the bathroom was dirty on all edges and architraves. Typical fast room cleaning. Toiletries are good. TV was tiny, in 2016? Good fridge and micro in room. Noisy air-conditioning, hotels should say if it's in room or cen... Read more

Room was spacious and clean and the outside garden and lawn was well maintained and pretty. However, the hotel is very noisy and public spaces need up keep and cleaning. The corridor carpets were dirty and looked unclean. Wi-fi didnt work well inside the room on the second floor. Breakfast was adequate and the live waffle station was a good addition.

The lobby set up, you up for the great fall. The lobby so nice and clean. Then you turn the corner to the elevator. the stains on the floor like blood and smash animals. Then open the door to the room and its small and we had nets. When I say nets are some type of bug, the blinds were broken in the bathroom, and the sink was broken. I grab my bags, and ran out of this hotel. Its was like a crazy movie. No Joke and the jokes on me. The mattresses is horrible it hard and just looks crazy, The staf... Read more

My husband booked this hotel based on the photos that were posted. The moment we arrived and were given keys to the room, I knew I would never be coming back to this dump again....Housekeeping does a piss poor job of cleaning and should be fired for leaving a room in this condition. I went to put our drinks in the refrigerator and when I opened the door it smelled horrible and wasn't working at all. I looked on the floor and there were crumbs and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. I arrived last night at midnight to learn there was no room available for my prepaid reservation. Place was run down. AVOID my mistake. Took two hours to find a room with help of travel agent. Atlanta is booked up. Bed by 3am after more driving. Travel agent processed refund, additional free future room. Good support from agent. Thank you Travelocity. Had to be downtown at 8 for meeting. Should have been rested and ready to work. Instead, exhausted and inconvenienced. For the next trave... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at Castleberry inn. The room we had was clean, the staff was friendly & it was close to downtown. No issues at all came up & the price was good for the location. Great place to stay if you're going to the world of coke, aquarium etc.. There is a restaurant on the property as well.
