This was my first time attending the OutlantaCon event, though my husband has been going for years. I dropped him off last year (due to having to go to work on Saturday). this year, I got to enjoy the festivities and hotel. It's quite a comfortable place.. All the dealings I had with the staff were pleasant as well. We plan to be back next year for a repeat!

The welcome was very warm and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The building itself is utilitarian, without being uncomfortable, but the reception/ lounge area was clean and functional without being sumptuous. The same with the bar and restaurant -- it did the job but no more. The room was quite acceptable and quiet, but the pillows were lumpy. So everything worked but without pretensions or frills. A few nights is no problem on business but not a holiday hotel.

Stayed in this hotel twice, at the start and at the end of our Deep South tour. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. needs an upgrade, cheap wooden doors. No water, free Wi Fi. Remote area near highway so some rooms can be noisy. Breakfast buffet OK.

Th hotel is convenient to the CDC and is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even called me a taxi to the airport at 4 am. The restaurant in the hotel is decent with an omelette station and a Starbucks in the lobby.

Our room in 807, the air was broken and would not go down past 73 degrees. The staff were able to accommodate us at 3am by switching us to another room on the same floor just a few rooms away which was awesome. When I checked out, Yvedell was excellent. He was truly concerned about our group not getting enough sleep and offered energy drinks and coffee but we declined. Yvedell walked us to our car and apologized several times about the broken AC in our room. I really felt truly appreciated and b... Read more

I was going to give the hotel an extra star for "addressing" the issues I had during my stay, but when I saw that I simply was given 5000 reward points, which isn't even enough for 1/6 of a night's stay, I changed my mind.... Anyone who looks through the 70 or so hotels I've reviewed will see I have only ever given one other low 2 star rating.....most of the time, 4 and 5 star ratings are the norm. I didn't pay for this hotel, or I would've given it 1 star.....here's why..... Upon arrival, th... Read more

We got a great deal on this hotel. Spacious clean room, friendly staff, nice bar/restaurant area. The bar seemed to be understaffed for the volume they had. The bar tender was very nice and bought our first two drinks voluntarily because of the long wait time.

Best Front Desk. Best Housekeeping, Nice rooms. What else we need? Front Desk and Housekeeping were ready for best. Location also is best. We needed little longer time for checkout. Front Desk person allowed us that.

The Marriott Century Center is a well maintained property with better than expected amenities. The hotel offers easy access from I 85 and is lees than four miles from Emory, six miles from Decatur Square and about ten miles from Downtown Atlanta. Access: If heading North from Atlanta on I 85, exit at Clairmont Road (Exit 91), and follow through to access the frontage road. Follow the frontage road and take a sharp left onto the access for Century Road. Follow Century and turn right into the pro... Read more

My husband's plane was diverted to Alabama due to bad weather, my in laws arrived earlier and were made to wait in the lobby and were not allowed to check in until he arrived. My in laws are elderly and frail and when I called myself to give the confirmation number and credit card details they would not accept me too and wanted my husband to call. Yes he was on a plane! Very large and very busy with lots of people and children (good for business) everywhere during our brief stay. With that said they did seem to enforce a quiet time. Beds were very comfortable.Disappointed with left over food from previous guest in refrigerator, 2 bath towels for 4 people, and credit card charged $25 incidental fee (unaware of until I called and questioned) which may/may not be returned in 3-5 days

The beds were very nice. The pool was great. The staff was extremely nice. The bathroom was not clean in either room we were given on the 5th floor. There was hair all over the tub and the toilet was filthy. I was dissapointed in the concierge lounge. The dinner was over at 730. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast, muffins, bread, and bagels. There were no eggs cooked to order. We are gold rewards members so I expected vouchers for the restaurant for breakfast. I was told we ... Read more

We stayed here recently for 3 nights and the hotel is not what it's touted to be. First let me say our room was comfortable and clean. My review centers mainly on the hotel outside my room. This hotel is described as quiet but there was a large group of young people there that were allowed to be as noisy and disruptive as they wanted to be all night long. We were there with a conference and many of our group complained that sleeping on the lower floors was impossible due to the noise in the lobb... Read more

This hotel is in need of some updating. It seemed worn out and dated. The room was average. One thing that I noted that there was no closet for your clothes, per se. There was a clothes hanger that opened out to the room. The bed and linens were fine. The food in the restaurant was good, but the service was excruciatingly slow. The waitress seemed to disappear for a long time between visits to the table. Since we had limited time for breakfast, I was going to avoid the dining room and go... Read more

I stayed there because it was recommended by the host of my business trip, for almost two hundred a night I thought sure enough they have free wifi ... Well I was wrong ( I should have checked this before I booked it). The room is clean, but no cups for the coffee maker . After they clean the room on the second day still no cups and no wash clothes. I called the service call and it rang ten times before someone pick up the phone. I did not feel the hospitality of this hotel at all , instead I do... Read more

Older style hotel with weak service mind set. Housekeeping sort of lax, missing toiletries. Beds are too soft for me and I thought room was a bit dingy. Not my first choice and desk staff was not particularly welcoming.

Although they were very busy and booked full, due to location, It seemed as if they were not staffed sufficiently to handle all events. Housekeeping was lack luster and the tub didn't drain properly for duration of stay. (4 days/3nights)

A typical Marriott that I gave stayed several times. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and readily available for questions. No complaints about the property. Pool was large and a decent size gym is available. Wi-fi is free for Marriott award members but if not a member $12.95. Plenty of parking (free) available. No restaurants within walking distance but easy access to the interstate.

The linens were not changed on the second day. I had to ask for extra towels. The phones in the room did not work. It was reported but it was not fixed. The shower pole was curved so the shower curtain would not stay could not open all the way. Only the middle of he tub was covered. Horrible experience for my family. The vent is by the side of the bed. Every morning we woke up with a sore throat from the AC. I have never seen this before, Unprofessional, when I walk into a place of business. ... Read more

I had the pleasure of attending my very first high school reunion which was held at this Marriott Hotel and I had a wonderful time, the hotel staff was very welcoming and greeted everyone with a warm and friendly smile. The hotel lobby is very spacious and the decor was bright and elegant, we had a pool party outside which was enjoyable and had people swimming and having fun while the barbeque was done. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. They upgraded us to a higher floor and since we are gold members we had access to the concierge floor which was great. The rooms were clean and great. Even though they are located on the highway, the Windows block out a lot of sound. They had breakfast M-F but it was great because on the weekends we had a voucher for breakfast in the cafe which was a plus. Sunday-Thursday they offer the evening appetizers which was nice, the... The hotel was in the best area for my visit with family in the Brookhaven area. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, I felt safe and would stay again. The hotel elevator is in the center of the lobby and is convenient to all the rooms. We had a full breakfast there every morning and it was good and reasonable.

Check in was s l o w! All 3 front desk reception members were checking in a group, which took way too long. When I finally arrived in my room, real disappointment set in. Bathroom was small and the room needed a bit more cleaning. Only one staff member greeted me with a smile during my stay - the rest acted like weary travelers!

I stayed here for 5 nights while moving my daughter into Emory. I found the location to very good- right on 85 so it was easy to get everywhere including Buckhead for the mall and to Emory and downtown and the airport. It is a big hotel, but not overlycrowded. Plenty of parking and I found the staff to be very helpful. There is a decent gym and restaurant. We've stayed here several times courtesy of Priceline. This hotel is located on the northern fringe of Atlanta in a quiet office park, but it is very safe. The hotel is very nice and clean. Front service was excellent and the entire staff was courteous and friendly. 15-20 minute drive to mid-town. Also, free parking.

Very average. Stay wasn't anything to write home about. Rooms and hallways need to be updated, but otherwise just your average Marriott. Location is quiet, stayed on a weekend, but no problem with loud guest or anything like that. We basically only stayed there to sleep (spent the whole day and meals with nearby family) so I can't speak for the restaurant or bar.

The large hotel car park appeared full, but we did find an empty spot quite near Reception. Being a Platinum Member, our check in for our two night stay was fast at 7:30pm. We were given a 5th floor kingbed room, opposite the elevator, and we immediately heard a bit of people traffic outside our room. We also found the view from the window was a massive lower level roof, which appeared to need cleaning and hosing down. We went back to Reception and our room was changed to 11th Floor with 2 beds,... Read more

It's a rather old hotel. The toilet takes a while to flush, the AC is noisy but cool and the tub drain will drown you before you finish bathing. However overall, staff is friendly and helpful, lobby is clean and classy and the conference rooms are cold but comfortable. Very good location for shopping and dining.

I have so much faith in Marriott after so many wonderful stays that I don‚??t even bother checking Trip Advisor before I book one. This time I paid the price. I don‚??t want to imply that this hotel was a disaster, but it was the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. The rooms are very outdated. They are much like you might have seen in a Marriott 20 years ago. They are also tiny with even tinier bathrooms. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and stained and the staff seems uninteres... Read more
