The Aloft is a good-looking, comfortable hotel in a convenient, downtown location with a friendly staff and fairly reasonable rates. It features contemporary styling with comfortable rooms and beds and modern bathrooms. I was put off by the lack of any sort of real restaurant. It has a bar at one end of the lobby and a sort of snack shop at the other end where it's possible to buy breakfast, although it didn't look inviting enough to me to pay hotel prices when there is better food and more vari... I've never stayed with the Aloft brand before so I did not know what to expect. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Peachtree MARTA station. The lobby is modern and open, there is a bar/lounge and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived early but they were able to check me in and get me a room immediately! The elevator requires the use of a keycard to use it which was fine it was also lit with different colored lighting and the floors had liquid in them which looked c... Read more

I stayed here during a recent conference as it was priced well from the selections the housing partner the organization worked with. (Of note there was a price difference that was offered by the conference housing partner and what the hotel actually charged at the end of the stay. Though the hotel staff told me it was because all taxes were not included in the original quote, it was not the case. Yes there was a difference in the taxes/fees, but there was also a price difference in the base r... Read more

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's within walking distance of Olympic Park and restaurants. Down the street from aquarium, world of coke-a-cola, civil justice museum, CNN, etc. Ray's in the City is about 5 minute walk. Marta service is farther away, so we took cabs from airport. When you are taking a cab from the hotel to airport make sure you call or specify cab or you will be given a town car which is about $10 more.

Sadly, the room was nod very clean in the corners, but okay for a Low-Low Budget hotel. Not okay is the service on the bar and on the reception. At the bar we ordered two drinks and a few snacks (fingerfood) and were precharged for it (Mastercard). The food was not on stock - I was issued a new bill (also Mastercard), we had our drinks ($10) and left for downtown for food. I still was billed the FULL amount of $35. THIS IS FRAUD! Ontop of this, the Hotel charged us the prepaid room (via Thomas ... Read more

Decent sized, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Large parking lot too. The wifi is free, which great, but often slow/laggy unless it's the middle of the night. It wouldn't be sufficient for business travelers. Solid stay :)

We love staying at Alofts whenever we can. They're always enjoyable and comfortable. The only knock I'd have on this one in Atlanta is the room was the standard King room was a bit smaller than we've had at other Alofts. Still plenty of room to move around and be comfortable, just noticeably tighter (particularly in the bathroom area) than what we've seen elsewhere. Would definitely highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, relaxing hotel stay!

The hotel is very well located, in walking distance from all the mayor attractions in the downtown Atlanta area. I went there for the SCAA Convention and could not have asked for a better location for the price. The hotel has a modern look, confortable rooms and a nice coffee lounge in the lobby area. It is not fancy, but still a great stay.

I stayed here one night after an airbnb turned out to be awful. So the reservation was made quick with little research. I regretted almost every moment. First when I walked in I stood in what appeared to be a line but when the person in front of me was done not one of the three people behind the counter said hello or greeted me in any way. I had to ask to be checked in. Then the man that looked like the manager told someone to help me because he was busy, as I was being checked in the manager pr... Read more

Great hotel in the vicinity of the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, and the Olympic Park. Several good places to eat nearby. The staff here is helpful and professional. They took their time to explain directions and offer advice very genuinely with kindness. The rooms are modern and comfortable.

Walking distance to the World of Coke and GA Aquarium in less than 5 minutes. Took my husband and two young children here for father's day weekend and had a great time. Not far from Zoo Atlanta and the outdoor pool was small but nice. For the most part our stay was nice and quiet on the sixth floor in a corner room facing away from the front of the building. Monday morning trash collection was going on early in AM so it woke us up a bit early. There was a concert in town and we were a bit worrie... Read more

Perfect location situated downtown ATL. Two blocks from Centennial Park and the World of Coke/ Aquarium. Only problem with the property, the food is mediocre at best. They have a quick order kitchen and overpriced snack area in the lobby. The upside, the hotel is super hip, allows your pets and is very clean. The rooms are oversized and decorated minimally, which makes them airy and fresh. I would stay here again when i visit the ATL again. The best part, the entire staff! Professional a... Read more

Room was clean quiet, and trendy, but in need of more space for your "stuff" and additional places to hang towels and wet bathing suits after a swim. Pool was small, but safe and fun. Fridge was a great help, but disappointed not to see a microwave. That would have bumped my rating up to 5 stars since my kids live off of microwaved meals while on vacation. MAJOR CRITICISM: makeshift office in lobby area by elevators is an eyesore and not very professional. Find another place for that! I heard ma... Read more

Many things going for this place, the first being the location. You're downtown and close to many of the big tourist attractions. The hotel has been recently renovated so everything is new and updated. It's very modern in style and targeted towards a specific demographic. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff were always super friendly. I love the bowl of water at the front door for the pets -- small touch but it speaks volumes. The room had a fridge so we could make... Read more

We stayed last week, and we were VERY ANGRY To be charged an extra $22 for parking! Not only that, there were 3 sets of towels for our booking for 4 people - the coffee maker had a used coffee bag in, but not in the place where its meant to be, in the water reservoir, disgusting - i ran it through twice, and it was still not clean, Its a nice hotel, my kids call it the hipster fortress, but to add on car parking is really out of order and if i had known about this before i would have stayed so... We stayed here during a 10 day road trip. The location can't be beat if you're going to Atlanta for the aquarium and/or world of coke, or walking around the downtown area. The room is cute, small but comfortable. The decor is modern. We loved the lobby. Also, the elevator and doors to the outside only work if you have a key which is really nice and makes you feel safer. Overall a good experience.

This was the worst service, the worst room, the worst bed, EVERYTHING about this was horrible! I called to talk to the manager and still have not had a return call. Paying $200 as a premier member was a waste of money. I could have stayed for $50 more and had a better view, room, bed and service!!!!!! A hole in the floor that I kept tripping over and the bed linens were so gross. Never again and I am reporting them all over social media as well!

Stayed here for the Nike tournament. The only issues I had is that u have to pay for parking & there was no shuttle to take you the events. Being one of the tournament hotels it should have provided a shuttle for its guest. Also, why should a quest have to pay extra for parking. no complimentary things, but there was a variety of items you could buy. Since the hotel is located in an area where there are a lot of different stores around them, it was cheaper to go out. Staff was very friendly & he... Read more

I have stayed at Aloft all over US, and never had any kind of bad anything!! As a matter of fact, Aloft is my always favorite, personal reasons, and I'll be more than happy to stay with them no matter where I go. I was on my road trip from north to south of the country and stayed one night at this location only, but even for those 9hrs I spent at the hotel it was worth the price. Candis was kind, patient and a great deal of comfort with details on her menu knowledge. Our first visit to Aloft was made the best because of Candis. The hotel was nice, check-in was easy and the rooms were modern and clean. The parking was outrageously expensive -- $22 to park for someone who is already paying for a room!!!!??? I understand charging a small fee because it is downtown but that is ridiculous. Also the charge was not disclosed until I was checking out. Also there were people running up and down the hallway at 3 AM yelling.
