The Aloft is a good-looking, comfortable hotel in a convenient, downtown location with a friendly staff and fairly reasonable rates. It features contemporary styling with comfortable rooms and beds and modern bathrooms. I was put off by the lack of any sort of real restaurant. It has a bar at one end of the lobby and a sort of snack shop at the other end where it's possible to buy breakfast, although it didn't look inviting enough to me to pay hotel prices when there is better food and more vari... I've never stayed with the Aloft brand before so I did not know what to expect. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Peachtree MARTA station. The lobby is modern and open, there is a bar/lounge and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived early but they were able to check me in and get me a room immediately! The elevator requires the use of a keycard to use it which was fine it was also lit with different colored lighting and the floors had liquid in them which looked c... Read more

I stayed here during a recent conference as it was priced well from the selections the housing partner the organization worked with. (Of note there was a price difference that was offered by the conference housing partner and what the hotel actually charged at the end of the stay. Though the hotel staff told me it was because all taxes were not included in the original quote, it was not the case. Yes there was a difference in the taxes/fees, but there was also a price difference in the base r... Read more

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's within walking distance of Olympic Park and restaurants. Down the street from aquarium, world of coke-a-cola, civil justice museum, CNN, etc. Ray's in the City is about 5 minute walk. Marta service is farther away, so we took cabs from airport. When you are taking a cab from the hotel to airport make sure you call or specify cab or you will be given a town car which is about $10 more.

Sadly, the room was nod very clean in the corners, but okay for a Low-Low Budget hotel. Not okay is the service on the bar and on the reception. At the bar we ordered two drinks and a few snacks (fingerfood) and were precharged for it (Mastercard). The food was not on stock - I was issued a new bill (also Mastercard), we had our drinks ($10) and left for downtown for food. I still was billed the FULL amount of $35. THIS IS FRAUD! Ontop of this, the Hotel charged us the prepaid room (via Thomas ... Read more

We love staying at Alofts whenever we can. They're always enjoyable and comfortable. The only knock I'd have on this one in Atlanta is the room was the standard King room was a bit smaller than we've had at other Alofts. Still plenty of room to move around and be comfortable, just noticeably tighter (particularly in the bathroom area) than what we've seen elsewhere. Would definitely highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, relaxing hotel stay!

The hotel is very well located, in walking distance from all the mayor attractions in the downtown Atlanta area. I went there for the SCAA Convention and could not have asked for a better location for the price. The hotel has a modern look, confortable rooms and a nice coffee lounge in the lobby area. It is not fancy, but still a great stay.

I stayed here one night after an airbnb turned out to be awful. So the reservation was made quick with little research. I regretted almost every moment. First when I walked in I stood in what appeared to be a line but when the person in front of me was done not one of the three people behind the counter said hello or greeted me in any way. Walking distance to the World of Coke and GA Aquarium in less than 5 minutes. Took my husband and two young children here for father's day weekend and had a great time. Not far from Zoo Atlanta and the outdoor pool was small but nice. For the most part our stay was nice and quiet on the sixth floor in a corner room facing away from the front of the building. Perfect location situated downtown ATL. Two blocks from Centennial Park and the World of Coke/ Aquarium. Only problem with the property, the food is mediocre at best. They have a quick order kitchen and overpriced snack area in the lobby. The upside, the hotel is super hip, allows your pets and is very clean. The rooms are oversized and decorated minimally, which makes them airy and fresh. I would stay here again when i visit the ATL again. The best part, the entire staff! Professional a... Read more

Room was clean quiet, and trendy, but in need of more space for your "stuff" and additional places to hang towels and wet bathing suits after a swim. Pool was small, but safe and fun. Fridge was a great help, but disappointed not to see a microwave. That would have bumped my rating up to 5 stars since my kids live off of microwaved meals while on vacation. We stayed here during a 10 day road trip. The location can't be beat if you're going to Atlanta for the aquarium and/or world of coke, or walking around the downtown area. The room is cute, small but comfortable. The decor is modern. We loved the lobby. This was the worst service, the worst room, the worst bed, EVERYTHING about this was horrible! I called to talk to the manager and still have not had a return call. Paying $200 as a premier member was a waste of money. I could have stayed for $50 more and had a better view, room, bed and service!!!!!! We came here on business & unfortunately my husband was taken ill, although he had to stay in hospital they allowed him to keep his room & whilst he was recovering the staff constantly asked after him. The staff are absolutely wonderful but Terriq, Damarco, China & Bidemi always seem to go that extra mile. Their friendliness certainly made the stay more pleasant & enjoyable. A true credit to your company.

Although the rooms are nice, and very clean, the most disappointing thing about this property is the service. Both the front desk staff and valets were extremely rude. The parking lot is kind of tricky to get into using your room key, but the lot is well lit at night, with a back entrance to the hotel close by.

Nice location right in downtown Atlanta. Easy access to the freeway. The Olympic Park, the Coca-cola museum, the aquarium, the children's museum and the Center for civil and human rights are all one block from the hotel. The room is clean and well kept. I had no problem staying there and would stay there again.

All, and I MEAN ALL, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. In addition to welcoming people, our four legged children were very welcome also which means a great deal. It is always nice to find a facility that allows pets and realizes those pets are part of our family.

While the location is excellent - in the heart of downtown Atlanta within a walkable distance to everything - Aloft just didn't do it for me. Yes, it's shiny and new. Yes, everything is scrupulously clean. But, it's like they are trying so hard to be hip and on point that they're removed all warmth from the hotel experience. The lobby is crowded - they seem to cultivate a hip party atmosphere. There aren't enough associates available to check you in and answer questions. They're eliminated m... Read more

I was so excited when this location was purchased and remodeled. So very convenient and nice. Unfortunately it is going downhill very fast. Maintenance and Housekeeping are NOT keeping up with the care for this facility. All the young desk receptionist are to busy talking to each other and paying no attention to what is going on around them. I hate seeing a Great Hotel going South so quickly ???

This review is a bit overdue as I haven't had time to sit and write a proper review. The property itself isnt too big. Just a few things that was missing. No fridge in my room. No Ice machine on the floor either. Obnoxious parking lot ready to wake you up as soon as it gets dark outside but you can resolve that by closing the window. The check in process went very smoothly as Terriq took really good care of me and provided a very friendly smile and made me feel very welcome checking in. ... Read more

The P.M. staff was very polite and informative. The front desk clerk China remembered me and my Husband name and greeted us by our name everytime we entered or exited the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at Aloft. The best was very comfortable and the A/C was not too loud, something I often find in hotels. I was right next to the floor HVAC also and it was noisy in the hall but silent in my room. I wish there was the option to re-use my towels instead of the environmental waste of getting clean ones every day. We have been staying at the Aloft in Atlanta since it opened and have found that each time we stay it is going down hill in cleanliness and service of the amenities such as coffee, towels and etc. The location is great for us, but I hope they don't continue to slide down hill in satisfaction. We also reported to the front desk that every time we used the bathroom, we had to shake the handle to stop it from running.

The only issues I had were with noise (the walls are a bit thin, and on Saturday night the noise from upstairs and nextdoor neughbours was a bit much) and with housekeeping. This hotel is very unique, colorful and clean. Most of the staff were friendly. The only drawback that we saw was that if you park in the back lot first (which seemed logical since we came in the side driveway), you will have to walk all the way around the building to get to the lobby to check in. So go to the lobby at the front of the building first!

The whole family really enjoyed the visit. The only negatives were the breakfast set up was pricey and inconvenient (their fault). Also, there was construction outside that left a metal plate across the road that made a loud thump every time a car crossed it all night long (not their fault). Over all service was exceptional. The staff was VERY friendly. Highly recommend.

I am an Aloft regular. But this property had slightly more spacious rooms, a nicer layout, and an updated color scheme from the property I frequent on Clark in Chicago.
