An overnight stay for an all day seminar was comfortably helped by my stay at the Hampton Inn. My room was ready on my arrival and I was happy with the luxurious comfortable bed. I was close to my seminar location which was perfect for me and the many restaurant choices as well as a decent shopping mall close by were a welcome sight. I had a good hot breakfast that was very filling and I was very pleased with my visit. The front desk was very welcoming and efficient.

I stayed only for one-night and everything was great! I came for an Alabama Shakes concert at The Classic Center at the University of Georgia! This hotel is just minutes away from the University of Georgia and the heart of Athens! The hotel is an older property but it is well-maintained! The room was ample for my needs! The beds were very comfortable! The room's act unit worked exceptionally well and wasn't noisey like you find at some hotels! The bathroom was standard Hampton inn but it suited ... Read more

We were there only one night but we chose Hampton Inn for the consistency of quality typically found with the brand. We were not disappointed. Our key didn't open the door upon arrival but the front desk quickly fixed the issue. The free WIFI didn't work in our room but we didn't alert anyone until the next morning when we encountered the manager in the elevator. He said he would have it checked. Our room was clean and quiet; would stay there again if needed.

I am sorry to say but I feel the quality of all Hampton Inns have taken a nose dive. Mainly in the breakfast area. Quality has continues to decrease. Selection is poor for instance fresh fruit, just bananas and apples. Choice of breakfast items, eggs no flavor and barely warm. I do understand all foo d items are heat and serve, but just not up to the standards of the past. I am considering not staying at Hampton properties in the future. I was impressed with the hotel overall but I have to highlight one particular lady, her name was Margaret. She was one of the cooks in the kitchen and I was impressed by her empathy for me. After a long drive the day before, I overslept, and realized it was already 9:57 which left 3 minutes to get to the dining room. I dressed as fast as I could, and when I arrived to the dining room, it was almost completely full. There were still people eating and I had hoped there would be something lef... Read more

This is absolutely the best Hampton experience ever and I am a fan of them to begin with. The accommodations were so comfortable. We could sleep even during the day as it was quiet. Having stayed in innumerable Hamptons and Hilton properties for the last five years, this is an average Hampton. It's clean, typical breakfast, and the staff were courteous. This is certainly an older, small hotel with small rooms and thin walls. The bathroom had a very small counter space. Unlike most Hampton hotels now, there isn't a small refrigerator in each room here, so ask if that matters. And given the small hallways and small rooms....opt for a top floor room at the end of a hall to avo... Read more

Fitness room was more than adequate, with two treadmills, one elliptical, one bike, dumbbell set to 50 lbs with bench, and weighted balls. We pick Hampton when we travel because they are clean and have nice linens. This location was smaller than most, but comfortable. I always love the cookies in the lobby and there were none! I asked about them and was told they only make them during the week. Disappointed that they think guests don't deserve cookies on Saturday, I was looking forward to my bedtime treat that I have gotten at every other location. The little things are what bring people back!

This hotel is great if you want to stay in a dorm setting. The rooms are very small and clean. The biggest concern is that the coffee pot is on the bathroom sink. That cannot be hygienically sound. I would never want anyone to serve me coffee out of the bathroom, but that is an example of how small the rooms are and the price is over $100 for the size of a dorm. The drafts coming out of AC unit. the units cant be shut off and even when you dismantle them to get them to shut off they still run an incessant draft that is especially bad if you dont want to feel a cold draft on you all night!

Great Hotel and Experience in Gods Country (UGA & Athens) Great location minutes from the University and walking distance to many restaurants. Exceptional customer service and quality rooms for the money. Looking forward to returning there in the near future.
