I don't know why I was expecting anything better. This was a below average hotel that is boarder line motel. No benefits and there wasn't even a market place. It's cheap and relatively clean. It could be worse. You get what you pay for. Insert any annoying analogy about less then perfect hotel with a less than perfect prices.

This hotel is dated and needs serious upgrade to compete with other better ones in the area. To summarize it, here are the pros and cons that I found from my week long stay at this hotel. Pros: - Free Breakfast - Very friendly staff - Great location. Starbucks is literally right beside it. Many great restaurants are in the same area. Walmart is only 3 mins drive from it. Close to GA-400. Cons: - Extremely loud AC in the room. The AC sounds like a trunk driving right beside you. I had to use... Read more

My husband is an avid cyclist, so we travel frequently for his races. This Holiday Inn Express really has its act together! We were sure that our stay was going to be ruined by a high school basketball team that was occupying rooms just two down from ours. However, the management kept them in check. When the team was extremely rowdy in the pool, Derrick was on top of it before we even had a chance to enter the pool area. The breakfast was outstanding, the shower was hot with great pressure, and ... Read more

This is not a top rate location and needs updating . The rate reflects the type of place and the staff I must say is friendly and helpful . Another plus is near several selections for dinner . They do serve a breakfast as part of your rate . If you like holiday in express go up the road to the other near by location. Newer fresh version .

Good for business travelers, located right off the freeway with plenty of restaurants close by, shopping and movie theater. Room was very spacious, tv worked fine with plenty of channels and no issues with wifi. They have a gym open 24/7 and a pool and jacuzzi opened 10-10pm. All in all a good stay with no issues at all. I would return here if I come back to Alpharetta.

The outside at night kinda smelled like rotten garbage, but there's a Waffle House about 500 ft away. The hotel smells fresh and clean. The front staff was SO nice and helpful!!! The carpet was clean, our room was clean, everything worked especially the AC. The weight area was kinda small, but it was nice and clean, the pool and hottub were soooo warm and CLEAN. The free breakfast was good, but getting up at 6:30 is a wee bit early for me to want breakfast especially when I'm on vacay :) I, ... Read more

This was a hotel I booked locally on short notice. We had some work done on the house and it made it hard to stay at home. I wanted to use the hot tub and pool area in the morning but it was taken over by a kids swimming class.

The hotel is clean and staff is good. But ... the hotel has window HVAC units. They are loud and run non stop. Wi-Fi is slow. The breakfast is ok. Standard fare. The swimming pool looks clean. I didn't use it, though. The continuous fan noise and slow Wi-Fi are show stoppers for me. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel itself I couldn't fault. It was clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was self serve with a small hot section that had different choices each day. There were no real hot veggie options during the 4 days I stayed. There was a range of cereals, fruit and bakery items which I could eat. The only issue I had was the location. It was great for the office I visiting which was located behind the hotel. I didn't have a car and althou... Read more

After a long day of travel, my husband and I arrived for business. The lobby has had a modern upgrade. When we went to room 1, the smoke and mold smell was overwhelming, room 2, moldy, room 3 so bad smell couldn't stand in it a minute! When we complained to mgt, we told them we would otherwise be staying at hotel and left. As we left, staff told us the carpet has been there for 20yrs and it surely smells like it. Should be -star. Despite only being in each room 1 minute we were charged for hote... Read more

The location is good, there are several restaurant and shop near by (not walking); in the same parking lot there is a Waffle House. The personal was not rude but I did not find them friendly as in other Holiday Inns. I asked for a bottle of water and the person in the front desk jumped and said that they do not give them anymore, so I asked them to charge it so they agree to provide it. My room had a strong smell of mold; actually it felt that the air was heavy, it seems that the carpet was was... Read more

Very hot throughout the entire hotel. The restaurant is open during very strange hours and the waiter seemed annoyed by having paying guests eat there. I've stayed in the same area in a much nicer hotel for about $50 less per day. Not worth the money or location.

Yes this is a clean, convenient, safe, and comfortable location with a good free breakfast, but how come I had to wait 7 minutes all by myself til someone came to the front desk to check me in. Certainly not up to HIE standards. the rest of the staff was not much better, particularly since English was a foreign language to them. May well be better to go to another nearby HIE or even one of the the 6 million hotels in a 3 mile radius. P.S. Where did all that traffic come from. Easier to get ... Read more

Last minute trip to attend DragonCon. Did not want to drive into the city each day, so chose this hotel due to it's decent location from the North Springs station MARTA train stop. It is about 7 miles from hotel to North Springs Station and then a 15 minute train ride to Peachtree Center in downtown Atlanta. No fee to park at this station if less than 24 hours. Anyways, the hotel. Easy to get to their location from GA 400. Clean property in a very nice area of Roswell / Alpharetta. Less than 1... Read more

Had occasion to stay here when my usual haunt was booked. The hotel offers different rooms and I was fortunate enough to get a suite. The room I had was nice, clean and had all the appointments, full living room, separate bedroom each with a TV, fridge/microwave and a clean bathroom. The hotel has an indoor pool/whirlpool and breakfast area featuring a full hot breakfast daily. The area is very quiet and serene. There is a plethora of restaurants within a mile and a Waffle House on property. The... Read more

I stayed Nov 29-Dec 4, 2015 for a work trip. I arrived after 8pm to check in. I had to change my room twice, staying in the 3rd room provided. The first room had a door that would not lock. The second room was missing half of the curtains so they could not be closed; there was a clear view to the parking lot. The third room was missing some of the art off the wall, but since the front desk clerk accompanied me this time, he was able to see that it was missing before I walked in. It was 11 pm by ... Yes this is not a new holiday Inn, but it is still a nice place to stay. I like because it's not crowded in with a bunch of businesses. Breakfast was great and the lady making it was very sweet. The maid service was great they were always working so hard when I passed by the rooms they were cleaning. I praise them for the jobs they do to make our stay more comfortable. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. :-) Keep up the good work!
