My party and I stayed there this past weekend, and we are also HH members. When we called ahead we asked if they had a pool or hot tub, because as anyone with children knows a pool is a must when staying at a hotel, and they said they had a pool, but did not tell us it was closed until June. This Doubletree Hotel is a suburban edition to the Hilton line. It is located amongst a bevy of strip malls in Alpharetta. It reminded me of Orlando with every fast food chain within a quarter-mile of the hotel. The lobby has photos of the renovations that are coming soon, so prepare yourself for a wide variance in quality. My room was nice and clean. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and went above and beyond. Francoise made sure I was able to find food and gave great recommendation. She even offered me the chance to use their refrigerator while they remodel their rooms to include in-suite refrigerators. I will definitely stay here every time business brings me this way.

Great staff, good value for the money and good location but the hotel is a bit tired and needs updating. I was in a room on the third floor and both nights was woken up early in the morning by a creaky floor from the 4th floor. Tiny bathroom with less than average amenities.

Very small room. Extremely small bathrooms. Does not deserve a DoubleTree name of Hilton name on it. Very dirty carpets, like a cheap motel. Extremely poor condition. The hotel needs a big time change. Need to make the rooms and bathroom larger. Need to take off the DoubleTree and Hilton logo off their name so not to misguide their Diamond member customer like myself.

The staff in this hotel is very nice and it's walking distance from so many great restaurants, cigar shops and other fun places. Francoise at the front desk was also incredibly nice to me when I checked-in.

The staff at this hotel was very nice and efficient. Overall we were pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean, but desperately in need of the upgrade that was advertised in the lobby. Our floor had the smell of old smoke, but the room had no odor. Not a top notch stay, but satisfactory for a single night.

The Double Tree was a great place to stay on my recent business trip to Alpharetta. The room was clean and comfortable. The included hot breakfast was just right! The staff was friendly and cheerful. I have stayed in some really nice Doubletree hotels. This was not one of them. Starting with check-In, i was really put off with the lack of customer care. The desk clerk was just going through the motions. Note this hotel has a sign in the lobby says they are renovating. I wish i had known. I could see it was long overdue. I had to attend a training conference and stayed at this hotel. My room was perfect and well maintained. The staff is what made my stay so enjoyable starting with LaShunda and Francoise at the front desk to Olga, Maria, Angela, and Silvia in the lounge/dining area, and Abdi who did the cleaning of the front area of the hotel. All were polite, friendly, professional, and catered to myself and the other guests. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Alpharetta.

Snoring from next room kept me from sleeping all night. Desk clerk acted like he could care less. Aeked to be moved to another room. He said they were full up, no apologies, no further communication even the next day when I repeated my complaint when I checked early to move to the Holiday Inn next door.

This hotel was amazing. From customer service being excellent, the sheets and covers felt like clouds (I have to purchase them) I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone. Although I didn't do anything in the surrounding areas, I had a car so I was okay with traveling, but it was really nice over all!

The hotel in itself was very clean and the staff was friendly. In particular, Lashunda, the front desk clerk, customer service skills were exceptional. Staff was very friendly. But, hotel is dated and carpet is very worn. Floors are wooden and noisy. Can hear the lightest of footsteps. My sheets appeared as though they had been slept in before my arrival.

This hotel was terrible. AC didn't work in the room. Phone didn't work. Ironing board was broken. And elevator was broken the two nights I was there which made for long waits. nothing was fixed while I was there.

Overall delighted with my first stay at this Double Tree. The hotel was clean; the amenities were appropriate; and the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. In particular, Françoise (front desk) was extremely courteous and helpful during my stay, and made sure I had a pleasant experience.

Needs serious updating. We make it a point to stay at Doubletree because of their beds, however we were very disappointed in this location's mattresses. They also need to do a better job with the breakfast service and restocking. They were also often out of their signature chocolate chip cookies...don't make it a big deal if you're not going to provide them to your guests.

My wife and I stayed over the 4th of July weekend. Our room was made up for us promptly every day we were there with clean towels each day too. The staff was very friendly. Mohnish was especially helpful. I needed large quantities of ice and he was able to take of that for me. The fitness facility was right across the hall from us which made it very convenient. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

The beat paet about this hotel is it's location. It's off the main road but close to shopping, restaurants and not too fae from the highway. The rooms are nice but there is no bathtub just showers. The carpering in the hallways are getring worn out. The restaurant and breakfast buffet spread is average. All in all a functional hotel nothing fancy.

Way overpriced for rundown facility. Room needs service and real good cleaning. Toilet was loose and wobbly. Bathroom ceiling had mold. No bathroom vent, causes mold. Mold needs to be cleaned and ceiling painted. Towel rack was loose. Wallpaper peeling throughout room. Carpet had stains. Fabric chair had stains. Fire sprinkler hanging from ceiling. No washer or dryer in hotel. No room REFRIGERATOR or microwave.

I would never stay at this hotel again just awful. The room alphas mold we had a total of 3 rooms we had to switch one room due to the toilet not working they do not have roll away beds. The location was great but there is a lot of work that needs to be due.

The accommodations are average. Not a bad place to stay. The good thing is there are so many places to eat, there is a variety of different nationalities to choose from. Depending on where and what you are trying to do this hotel is in a great area.

rundown hotel. way too expensive for what you receive. doors would not close unless you pushed them. complimentary breakfast coupon does not include a soft drink. when you walk in it says renovations summer of 16. well it is late July, when are you starting, September 20? I should have been offered my money back after I told the front desk we were leaving early because of the condition of the property. He just pointed to the sign that said renovation coming soon.

We have stayed DoubleTree Alpharetta-Windward, GA several times. This past stay was, as usual, very good. Mr Mohnish who checked us in and out, very nice man, made me feel he was glad we were staying. Very nice breakfast with two very helpful attendants.

This was my first time staying that this Double Tree. I love the location close to a main road but far enough away that you don't hear the road noise. The staff was very nice and the room are very well maintained. Something that you would expect from Hilton.

The room was clean--a definite plus--but was it was small with stained carpet and no microwave, no frig. Only space for one suitcase. There were only two sets of towels, even though the reservation was for three, the sink was cracked from side to side, and there was no tub--only a shower. There was a sliding door between the room and the bath, with a handle only on one side. No breakfast. Definitely not worth the price.

Had problem with front desk. Was treated as if it was my problem. No help with internet problem. Had to find a place with wi fi to work. I spend over 100 nights per year in hotels. On my next trip to Alpharetta I will find another hotel to stay. I am loyal to Hilton, but this was not a good experience.

Let me start with the fact that there are two redeeming qualities about this hotel. 1. Francoise at the front desk is delightful. She greets you when you arrive and return, and she is helpful. I generally expect more out of a Double Tree. The location was hard to find. The bathrooms are just part of the guest room with a small shower. Value definitely wasn't there either, I have paid less in the area for a nicer room and hotel experience.

Rooms were pretty standard; location is great - easy to get to local restaurants, bars and the LA fitness gym. The best part about the stay was the warm cookies at the front desk. And Francoise was amazing - she made it a very warm and welcomed stay.

I travel once a year to Alpharetta for work and almost always stay at Doubletree. The hotel is close to the freeway and has a Walmart and plenty of restaurants nearby. The location is peaceful and great! On my last visit, Francoise checked me in. She is AMAZING!! She was very informative, warm, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to serve the guests. I am always pleased with my stay and enjoy receiving a delicious cookie when I check in!!

The hotel is quiet (big plus for me) and is conveniently located near many restaurants and Wal-Mart. Francoise has been incredibly helpful during my two week stay here. When I checked in Francoise greeted me as if we were family and I was going to my room at Grandma's house. I felt right at home. This set the tone for my experience. Francoise is AMAZING! She is the sweetest person ever she tried to make everything right that was wrong. I give her 10 stars! The hotel on the other hand i give 2 stars. The room I had was horrible. First of all....the staff is really nice and polite. Now the room.....Got back late from TopGolf and wanted to take a shower....NO WATER!!! Called the front desk but they said the maintenance man had already gone home for the night. On top of that the toilet ran all night long. Room 409 needs a little attention! Will not return!

This is a terrible hotel.... Room was not clean. Drywall falling apart. Restaurant is not open for dinner on Friday-Sunday. Do yourself a favor stay some place else. I honestly can not believe that Hilton does not just demolish this hotel and start over.

I travel to the Atlanta area every 6-8 weeks, and with all the traffic it can be quite exasperating. Mohnish was a breath of fresh air upon arriving around 9pm (long day). He went out of his way to make sure I felt welcome, comfortable and was accommodated promptly. He knew a lot about the Alpharetta area and was very helpful in selecting a late night eat. This facility is undergoing renovations, and I expect it will be even better in the Spring 2017. Thanks Dbltree!

I have stayed at this hotel several time before, but had an amazing experience this time because of Mohnish. He takes the service level and quality to a whole new level. He went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. All my requests were promptly attended to. I'm definitely booking my stays at this location while he's around. I needed several things during my stay. The night manager Mohnish was extremely helpful and pleasant. I ended up not getting any cutlery to eat my take-out dinner with, and I locked myself out of my room. I tried to give this hotel another chance but the hotel still needs improvement.The hotel is understaffed and the sheets and pillow cases are dirty.Hopefully when they upgrade the hotel things will be better.I recommend them for a budget friendly hotel close to everything but needs to be cleaner.

I travel to Alpharetta on some weekends and typically stay at this location because they have an inexpensive weekend rate. Mohnish who was at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful to me during my most recent stay. He recognized me as a returning guest and was very friendly during my stay. The location is excellent and plan to continue staying here when I have a reason to travel here.

Excellent service, excellent facility, extremely recommend this hotel. Front desk clerk, Mohnish was awesome. Was very friendly and took care of everything I needed very quickly. One of the best hotel experiences I've had and I travel a lot.

I am mortified at the service I received from a hotel I never stayed in.I made reservations here and on the web site it say that you will not receive any charges until you check out. I regret that I responded to the pick a room request but my plans changed and I ended up not staying in Georgia and I went back home to Greenville, Sc. The front desk staff was awful. Our room wasn't ready on time at 3:00P.M. check-in. They made us wait in the lobby for over 20 minutes before offering us another room. In the mean time they were checking in other guests. That night the police were arresting people in the parking lot. Some of the staff may have been involved. So safety is an issue too.

I was Very clean. Comfy beds. Decent size rooms. And Mohnish (the service desk clerk) was fantastic. He was Very helpful and always nice and always smiling.. This is our second time staying and We will stay again.

Enjoyed the stay. Mohnish at the front desk and Silvia at breakfast bar made the stay a delight! They both went above and beyond the call of duty. This is a nice location for a quick trip with friends!

I will never stay at this property again...the renovation can't come soon enough. My room was absolutely disgusting and below anyone's standards. The staff couldn't resolve the issue because all of the room conditions are poor.

After searching for a hotel that would meet my expectations and not break my wallet I took a chance on The Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta and it was the best decision I made. I've recently stayed at 4 star rated hotel 2 months prior in downtown atlanta and it was absolutely horrible. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and in all of my Hilton stays, this property was the worst. The bathroom was like a shoebox and not very clean, there was only one washcloth and hand towel in the room. When I asked for additional, I was told I had to come to the front desk. The toilet overflowed and required a plunger at midnight. The drapes were falling off the windows. On a recent family trip to the Atlanta area, I booked a room for my daughter, granddaughter and myself at the Doubletree Atlanta/Alpharetta. The hotel was clean and pleasant; staff was friendly and helpful, especially Mohnish at the Front Desk who checked us in on our arrival and out of the hotel the next day. Location is on walking distance from the HQ of the company I work for so like staying here as it is very convenient and it has a good price/quality ratio. I've been a guest at this hotel several times and the people have been always very friendly and helpful.

Booked the room online but the dates were mixed up when going to the hotel. They charged me for the room I did not sleep in and did not offer me a room when I arrived. I ended up having to drive over an hour to find a room and between the two charges the one night stay cost me over $500.

I stayed here recently while in town for a conference. My room was paid for by the hosting company but because I am a Hilton Honors gold member the front desk staff did a great job of connecting this stay to my Honors account. Check-in was seamless. You can tell the hotel has a little age on it, but there are signs everywhere showing all of the renovations they are about to do. After the renovations, this hotel should be a top notch Hilton family hotel. I would stay here again.
