My family and I stayed here two nights. The front desk is rude. I called up because my tv cable went out and when I called the front desk lady said it "it's not just you!" And hung up. Crappy crappy wifi. Either it never connected or knocked you off. Rooms were ok. Sheets were questionable. The washer and dryer were disgusting and took my quarters. There was suppose to be a mini fridge in our room when i went to ask the front Desk lady said "There is!" No there was not. They make you leave a d... Read more

I revisited Winter Haven Suites and Conference Center and was very impressed with the recent renovations to the hotel since my last visit. Although I always find the staff to be very professional, helpful, and congenial, the upgrades added to a very pleasurable stay. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see plush additions to the landscaping that extended the historic. local "Cypress Gardens" effect. I was impressed with the newly renovated variety of rooms offered to accommodate groups, families, ... Read more

We were there for state 4H competition, it started early in the morning so we came down the night before for practice. Another family with our team had not made reservations anywhere although the Hotel was booked they were able to get our teammates a room, this is a plus in our book, when people were walking in and asking for rooms and they were telling them they were sold out! Our room was not one that had been remodeled, but for what we needed it worked. We took the advice of the manager and ... Read more

Still has along way to go. People rude and wouldn't stay there. Hotel Impossible needs to go back and finish the job. Wouldn't stay there if last place with rooms. Seek rooms elsewhere and check the room out before staying.

I am here with my family for 2 nights.. first I have to say that the price was right..that being said. This place could use a small face lift. The room is not bad but has a very musty smell. The cobwebs on the ceiling are not attractive. The hairs that were on the vanity and tub...not nice. Now..the shower curtain..wow I'm sure they can get a 99 cent shower curtain from family dollar down the block. The hallways are filthy, garbage is over flowing. The pool...is disgusting!!!! What a shame beca... Read more

It's looks good on the outside. I needed a room for a week, they had the nerve to offer me a premium room. What made it premium I asked? The answer was " it has a microwave and has been remodeled. Doesn't every worthwhile hotel offer a microwave? They were in the process of remodeling but the only difference was a poor paint job and ceramic flooring. The sink didn't drain and the water boiler was broken leaving us with without hot water for the first night. To add insult upon injury it took two ... Read more

I stayed here for 9 nights 23rd May to 2nd June. The accommodation was quite old but the place was clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and the room was cleaned each day. Don't be put off, at first glance the room looked very old and tired but the staff are friendly and courteous. The location was good with plenty of restaurants and shopping facilities nearby.

I planned a trip to Legoland with my family and we decided to leave the night before so we could get to the park as soon as they open. With a one night stay we didn't want to spend over $100. I knew we would get what we paid for ($70) but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. It's extremely filthy, which actually came out of my step sons mouth who's 9. There's no way that they have housekeepers. The tub, the walls, doors, and floor were so nasty. Bleach goes a long way! This place needs a... Read more

I want to start off by saying do NOT stay at this hotel! The lobby is the only nice thing about this hotel. The room was old and rough. The bathroom was dirty. There was hair stuck all over the overhang in front of our room door. Besides this there was some rather rough individuals that were there. We had a drunk man walking around with no shoes and another who appeared to be strung out on drugs. There were two prostitutes a couple of doors down with random dudes going in and out and their pi... Read more
